Make public the specific proposals made by the Sabah Chief Minister’s Department Laboratory on the Management of Illegal Immigrants in Sabah

New Straits Times today front-paged its exclusive story of 55 proposals by various government agencies in a laboratory to combat terrorism and reduce the high number of illegal immigrants in the country.

These 55 proposals are to tabled at the Cabinet Committee on Foreign Workers chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin when it meets on August 2.

What has happened to the earlier Laboratory on the Management of Illegal Immigrants in Sabah formed under the Sabah Chief Minister’s Department a few months ago, which is to come up with a new strategy and specific proposals to end the long-standing problem of illegal immigrants in Sabah?

Sabah faces the worst problem of influx of illegal immigrants, causing the state’s population to explode from some 400,000 during the formation of Malaysia in 1963 to three to four million today – with over half of the population believed to be foreigners.

Various Cabinet Committees to resolve the Illegal Immigrant problem in Sabah together with their respective deadlines have come and gone but the problem of illegal immigrants in Sabah have only got worse.

The promise by one Prime Minister after another to resolve the illegal immigrant problem in Sabah have also come and gone, but no one can see any solution in sight.

Is the problem of illegal immigrants in Sabah coming under the wing of Muhyiddin’s Cabinet Committee on Foreign Workers or is it treated separately like the Sabah Chief Minister’s Laboratory on the Management of Illegal Immigrants.

Sabahans and Malaysians are entitled to clear answers.

In the meanwhile, the proposals for resolving the problem made by the Sabah Chief Minister’s Department Laboratory on the Management of Illegal Immigrants should make public for discussion and consultation.

  1. I estimate Sabah current population is 4.5 million. 1.3 million by far the most is genuine sabahan. I.2 million illegals have become citizen through various dubious means and most are registered voters. There are 1.3 million some have geniune workpass, most have dubious one, work in various estates, construction sites,in the fishery industry etc howvever a substantial number of them work in underground activities such runners for all kind of gambling, stealing, robbing and cheating and selling smuggled goods such as cigarrettes and beers. I think there are al least 200,000 illegals.so called Sabahans traveling to an fro between Sabah and the Philipines and Sabah and Indonesia on a daily basis. The vast majority travel freely without going through any check point/immigration department. Frankly this’s the current scenario in Sabah.

I believe that UMNO members in Sabah come from mainly those who are not classified as genuine Sabahan, but the NEWMalays. That is the ‘benefit’ given to Sabah for joining Malaysia. Forefingers are dumped in Sabah to ensure that UMNO retain control of the federal government through votes from the illegals. With those Project M Malays brought in during Mamakthir’s reign into Sabah, UMNO still retains power despite losing seats in the Peninsular. Ironically Malays in Peninsular Malaysia now find it hard to dethrone UMNO knowing that they are corrupted and feast in the name of helping the Malays and telling the world that Malays are weak.

  3. UMNO B is so proud that their bribery and corruptions..and their musical chair formula worked so well in Sabah.
However…the truths have emerged showing the riches State in Malaysia turned to be the poorest…making it a State for the very rich and very poor.
That is clear sign of massive corruptions.
Lets see how Sabuans react to their general election.
It must be from Freedom Fighters voters against corrupted racists and opportunists.
It is also a State with thousands unknown ghosts given citizenship.
When you have the leader of the pack encouraging corruptions and apply double standards….you can see Sabahans are the clear victims of an unfair and unjust corrupted government.
And look at those little napoleons from UMNO B hitting hard at Lim Guan Eng in Penang with no results to convince Penang voters how stupid LGE is..and LGE never give up….confronting with no fear….which makes Penangites so proud of him.
Such incidents and especially with the Sibu miracle….Sabahans…have a choice….and not like before…no choice….toe the line and suffered in silence.
It is Freedom or lead like animals with no dignity by BN government.

  4. Malaysians are not interested to read New Straits Times anymore.
Soon “Star” will also be given up.
Right now….it is the publishing of 4 digits result.. the horse racing format..plus share markets that makes it still… saleable.
Come to politics..both papers journalists are not worth one sen…always promoting low class propaganda for UMNO B.

It is highly unlikely that the government will make public the management of illegal immigrants in Sabah since BN has the intention to legitimize illegal immigrants in Sabah as rightful, faithful BN voters. The same applies to the emergence of the large numbers of civil servants in government departments. The government will never let the Opposition know why it needs so many civil servants. However, Tun Dr. Mahathir had given us the hint when he was in power. He said that civil servants should be loyal to the government and they should be sacked if they do not vote for BN. We can see from here how BN can increase their “support base” by “recruiting” large numbers of illegal immigrants and civil servants!

  6. Illegal immigrants in Sabah are there with the full blessing of the unseen hands to Serve the ultimate purpose of being Legalised Voters who will surely overwhelm genuine Sabahans and vote the Corrupt BN to power in the 13GE.Don’t ever be deceived by the ploy of BN that they are Sincere in Solving the Illegal immigrants by their New Strategy and Specific Proposals.Nothing will Ever materialise. Why kill the Goose that lays the Golden Eggs?We are not Stupid and Gullible to listen to all the Rubbish and Promises of the BN.Enough is enough after the long suffering 50 years of BN.

  7. Mana si celaka tu. Anyway since he is not here I might as well speak on his behalf. Yes, again.

So, errr where were we. Hah! Illegals in sabah. Yes. Illegals in sabah.

That proves the fact that umno is great, jib is fantastic and mahathir is god.

There. And one more thing. Direct all responses to cintanegara pls.

  8. Imagine, millions of citizens whose physical look and speech/accent are 100 % foreign are now called genuine Sabahan. Whereas thousands of original native who speak and practise KDM languages and culture still remain stateless, not forgetting hundreds of genuine Sabah born chinese still could not get their citizenship since 1967. Can someone, minister, politican, social worker etc please tell me what’s really happening in Sabah ? Why are genuine Sabahans being treated like dirt and illegal immigrants are given special priority ? Most genuine Sabahans I know now feel pretty un-comfortable living in its own place of origin whereas most so-called Sabahans are treating Sabah like a kind of cash cow in paradise.
