Umno Youth chief Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has denied that his statement on what Gerakan Youth deputy chief S. Paranjothy said was a threat.
Hishammudin said he was not threatening anyone nor being emotional when he said that Umno Youth and Barisan Nasional would sever relationship with Gerakan if the Gerakan Acting President Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon could not give a satisfactory explanation and response on Paranjothy’s statement for saying two things:
• that the 30,000 Indians who took part in the Hindraf demonstration in Kuala Lumpur on November 25 did so to express their frustration and anger because the community had been “marginalized, oppressed and ignored”.
• Blaming Umno leaders, particularly the Umno Youth Leader Hishammuddin and Deputy Umno Youth Leader Khairy Jamaluddin for racial posturing and inciting racial sentiments among Malays to gain political mileage – citing as examples the keris-wielding episodes against the former and the public castigation of the Indian news vendors by the latter when the Umno presidential address of Prime Minister and Umno President, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was not carried in the press the next day as the Umno general assembly fell on Deepavali, with the next day an annual press holiday.
Hishamuddin’s denial that his statement on Paranjothy was a threat raises the question what would be Tsu Koon’s reaction if the Umno Youth had issued his “threat”.
Hishammuddin was however denying the undeniable as everyone, except him, would have recognized that he had issued an ultimatum and a threat.
Tsu Koon had issued a plaintive complaint that Hishammuddin should not make statements ”that can mar relationship between component parties within Barisan” when he should have berated Hishammuddin for his arrogance and presumption in threatening that the Barisan Nasional would sever relationship with Gerakan as if all the 14 Barisan Nasional component parties and their leaders, including the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, have no minds of their own and were all at the Umno Youth leader’s beck and call!
In being forced to take disciplinary action against Paranjothy, Tsu Koon should have protested against Barisan Nasional double-standards where Umno and Umno Youth leaders enjoy immunity from disciplinary action for criticizing, insulting and even threatening leaders of other Barisan Nasional component parties while ultimatums are issued by Umno and Umno Youth leaders against leaders of other Barisan Nasional component parties if they are criticized by the other Barisan Nasional component parties.
The least Tsu Koon should have done when referring Paranjothy to the Disciplinary Committee is to lodge a strong protest against the strong-armed tactics and double standards of Hishammuddin, as well as validating Paranjothy’s sentiments about the long-standing marginalization of the Malaysian Indians leading to the Nov. 25 Hindraf demonstration by 30,000 Indians as being most pertinent and legitimate.
Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin said yesterday that the people should give little importance to the remarks by Paranjothy because there were more people with a rational mind in the Barisan Nasional component parties who could make themselves heard above him.
But Hishammuddin clearly does not agree for he had said in Maran that Umno Youth will answer all allegations made by Paranjothy against Umno and its leaders as Paranjothy’s accusations were serious and aimed at Umno Youth leaders, including Khairy Jamaluddin and himself.
Tsu Koon should requisition for a Barisan Nasional Supreme Council meeting to demand that Umno and Umno Youth leaders stop bullying and intimidating the leaders from the other Barisan Nasional component parties and a review why the Barisan Nasional has deviated so far from its original concept as a coalition of equals to one which is ruled by an over-dominant Umno and 13 other voiceless and powerless component parties.
If the other component parties in the national coalition are more vocal it is likely that UMNO Youth would be less vocal.
‘Hishammuddin Threat’ — UMNO is big brother in the BN
and however UMNO is also a Big Bully to all component
parties!!
Whenever they talk, they MUST threaten the weaker
parties and these weaker parties become the Underdogs
and have No Maruah of themselves…!!
No self-respect and dignity…!!
Thank God all that Hishammuddin vented on Paranjothy and Gerakan were merely words and not the keris!
Well, KTK, time to tell Pak LAh (Penang boy) that this din (‘Din’) has just made one cut too many and this cruel stab must not go unpunished otherwise Penang will cast Gerakan adrift and then KTK would be lost in the tsunami.
It’s better to lose Hishammudiin than to lose Penang, o boy!
History has shown that the most “kurang ajar” and “biadap” people in Malaysia are from UMNO Youth. If other people dare to be more vocal, UMNO Youth would brand them as terrorists and detain them under ISA.
As I have said many times in the past in this blog that the policy of appeasement practised by the subordinate BN partners such as the MCA, MIC, Gerakan etc has encouraged UMNO to be even more brazen and intimidatory in their dealings with them.
History has taught us appeasement never works. England tried to appease Hitler and Hitler went on to annex Poland and Hungary and attack France. What this Hishammuddin and his type needs is someone with the clout and guts to shove his words into his face once. He portrays UMNO Youth as behaving very proper to the other BN parties and declares they will sack any UMNO Youth member who offends the BN partners. He has a short memory. SIL not too long ago offended Gerakan in Penang and what action did Hisham took?
The weak response of Gerakan bodes ill for them. Like animals smelling blood, UMNO will now go for Gerakan’s jugular in Penang and turn it into another Sabah. I doubt KTK has the stomach for a slug fest with UMNO.
Uncl Kit, you forgot to mention that Hisap-pudding said if it were up to him, he will sack Paranjothy! Is this another hint of his not-a-threat? Say that the outcome of the Diciplinary Board only gives a stern warning to Paranjothy, what do you think would happened? I dont think he will let it go lor… So like this also cannot, like that also cannot…let’s hope KSK has the courage to fit his balls back and return Gerakan to its olden days glory…ops..was i dreaming again?
“Thank God all that Hishammuddin vented on Paranjothy and Gerakan were merely words and not the keris!”
I would prefer he raised his keris again. That way we got more excuse to kick this dude out of his post and sack him. I am hoping them to do the wrong thing again and again, that way he himself inherently helped us all reminded the public just how rotten UMNO is.
Keris-mudin said in a tv3 interview that he as never threatened anyone in his life. Which is what i think is a desperate attempt of trying to save his skin. Haha raising his keris up eh? [deleted]
UMNO leaders have the habit of saying something and then denying they said it or meant it. They will swear in the name of anything you want, just to save their hide.

With so many scandals and internal clashes among the BN component parties, BN in the the process of collapsing and losing its support from the voters.
It’s very obvious that Pak Lak is the weakest PM in the history, who is now akin to an unholy father struggling to manage his nasty children.
This is good for the opposition and the people. We are so fed up with BN, it’s time for a total change of government!
Malaysians are not surprised by this denial of BN Leaders.they will say one thing today without using their brains(including Pak Lah),tomorrow will issue a statement they never meant to say such thing.people take it wrongly.
The Mainstream Media under their party control….
Gerakan has some one who dared to speak out against UMNO. I wonder who at MCA and SUPP dares to do the same thing? Tsu Koon should step aside and let Paranjothy take care of Gerakan.
Is there still any room for decent treat or threat
When you’re told straight in the face to take this or do that
What then do you think will be the safest clean bet
That can be done without any party getting really upset

Wed. 26th Dec. 2007.
There is no doubt that when the UMNO Youth Chief demanded an explanation from Gerakan and reportedly said that “if the explanation given is not satisfactory, we are prepared to sever all relations with Gerakan†it was, as he said, “no laughing matter” but a clear threat. Especially the part “to sever all relations with Gerakan†which threatens access to patronage and largesse, the raison de etre of taking up political career that membership within BN fold makes possible. It is an open secret that all senior government positions held by BN Component parties’ officials are dependent on UMNO chiefs’ grace and for some their parliamentary seats also dependent on majority Malay votes canvassed by UMNO leaders.
The prime eligibility requirement to be a part of BN coalition is to be “voiceless and powerless” relative to the dominant party and to accept its hegemony.
Way back Labour MCA Minister Lee Kim Sai, passed a resolution calling for the abolition of bumiputera-non bumiputra classification which provoked an immediate backlash from UMNO members which led to the following : the Selangor MCA withdrew the resolution and Lee resigned.
But its not MCA alone : even collectively the other component parties were beholden and subservient. Eg. 10 non-Muslim ministers, acting on an MCA initiative, presented a memorandum to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi calling for a review of Article 121 (1A) and other laws that affect non-Muslims in Islamic matters. Except for Bernard Dompok, the rest immediately retracted in the wake of an outcry by UMNO Cabinet members and MPs.
To say that the other component parties share equal partnership power is a euphemistic pretension that imposes even on the naiveté. Our political news are so replete with countless examples of unequal relationship that to cite them is to preach to the converted and try readers’ patience here.
It is however relevant to point out that to suggest Tsu Koon requisitions for a Barisan Nasional Supreme Council meeting to demand the stopping of Umno Youth leaders’ bullying and intimidating the leaders from the other Barisan Nasional component parties is a “poison fruit†to invite his political suicide and prematurely end his political career as Chief Minisiter of Penang! If he were to make such a requisition he would himself be hauled up for breaking BN’s ranks.
Having said that it is good for Opposition’s cause to goad these “voiceless and powerless component parties†to grow some spine. It causes stress to their leaders on how to parry off these taunts and challenges especially when they are based on irresistible inferences from irrefutable facts.
As Cinapek said, “History has taught us appeasement never worksâ€.
If these component parties and their leaders could not, from these tauntings and goadings, stand being bullied or if their grass roots demand them to re-assert their rightful positions as equal partners, then either UMNO becomes fairer or, if it recalcitrantly stands its ground, the BN’s fortress will fracture and implode – either way a favourable development to the Opposition.
BN has not political strong point except being racist.
Politician of any party especially the young one are the same in term of being vocal to influence people.
However, it is hard for people to see thing without mindset.
The only diferent between UMNO and others is they are not penalise for being racist and holding ” illegal ” assembly.
This stupid UMNO member are just being arrogant and naive with ” narrow minded demand ” only in Malaysia without thinking as how to survive and compete in a global sense like popular proverb ” KATAK BAWAK TEMPURUNG “.
With bigger issue like global, whole Malaysia can just inundated under freak flood as well as emergence of new economic power. Only recently our education minister try to promote Malaysia as education hub, our tourisme minister try to attract more chinese tourist.
It is so shameful and good for nothing stupid politician.
Gerakan is a lame duck party, neither here nor there. They can neither fight for the welfare of Chinese nor Indians nor Malays. They each have their communal based party supposedly fighting for their welfare and right. It is just pathetic fighting for their own benefits.
“Tsu Koon should requsition BN Supreme Council meeting to stop bullying / intimidation”
No need to.
All he, Tsu Koon, needs to do is to just stand up and speak out.
But sadly, this meek mouse will only let himself and his followers be bullied over and over again. They just don’t have any courage at all but merely complies.
Gerakan doesn’t gerak any more. It just roll-over and play dead. Stone dead. Let them stay dead.
These UMNO guys slap the minority races in the face all the time. When the minorities keep quiet, the UMNO guys slap them again and again. When the minorities create an outcry, the UMNO guys say they don’t mean it. When the outcry continues, the UMNO guys with the assistance of the mainstream press deny that the slapping ever happened.
What is sad with the BN component parties is that they generally turn the other cheek when slapped by UMNO. Gerakan is not alone in brown-nosing UMNO. We can see how “brown” the noses of Ong Ka Ting and Semi Value have become.
malulah jadi bangsa Melayu, macam mana nak tukar bangsa ni?
izrafeil. bangsa tak boleh tukar. itu biological. tapi minda boleh tukar. fikir fikirkan.
I am very fed up of all this bullying of the minority parties by this big bully UMNO. In particular I am very fed up of UMNO Youth and its keris wielding leader. He doesn’t seem to realise how much damage he has done by making all these threats and his raising the keris time and again. It shows how patronising he is and how arrogant. He should not be considered PM material given his thuggish behavior. I urge Gerakan, MCA and MIC to stand up to this thug once and for all to show that the minorities are no longer as weak as he thought we are.
Yes, BN non-Malay ‘partners’ should not appease the UMNOputras any more. They should voice their resentment over the way Krismudin is ‘harping’ on Gerakan. Don’t let their ‘divide and rule’ tactic keep encroaching into the rights of the non-Malays. The non-Malays are watching! Act not talk!
>>Thank God all that Hishammuddin vented on Paranjothy and Gerakan were merely words and not the keris!<<<
As you know uneducated used force and the wise one use its brain.
The BN non malays will never go against umno bcoz that will effect their pockets. They are so selfish, keris muddin as usual will deny everything. The victims will be the non malays.I am fed up with this politicians in malaysia ,no DIGNITY AT ALL.
why is LKS so concerned with what is happening in BN? I think he is just being a “batu api” so that BN members with eventually get one another !!! Butt out Kit Siang !!!
“Keris-mudin said in a tv3 interview that he as never threatened anyone in his life”………….Would you believe a LAUYAR BURUK especially one who FARTS through the mouth. Each time he opens his mouth it smells (sounds) so offensive. Hishammudin you can have my vote for being such …………
testing
The MB of Malacca wanted PPP to get out of BN, AAB kept quiet. UMNO youth chief threatened Gerakan to get out, if KSK does not bow, AAB kept quiet. UMNO is testing how far they can push in seat allocation for the next GE.
When would UMNO ask its other Vice Presidents to threaten MCA and MIC to quit BN?
“We can see how “brown†the noses of Ong Ka Ting and Semi Value have become.” Godfather
Sam has a brown nose? You sure the red nose reindeer didn’t have a part in it?
YB..oh ..YB, don’t you want DAP to win Penang? If BN fight among themselves then it is the better for the opposition. So why correcting them, pointing out their mistake, etc..etc?
Me would say.. sack paranjothy..bravo Kerisman, bravo!! and to Samy don’t bow to the penyanyaks demands….
wink..wink..
All these must be taken as positive happenings for opposition. DAP must study how it can take this to its advantage.
The BN component parties are supposed to be equal & like brothers. The respective heads are brothers & the youth heads are like the nephews (the younger generation).
For us Chinese, manners are very important. When the elders are in dispute, the younger generation SHOULD NOT join in & insult their uncles (the older generation). This is ‘kurang ajar’. Usually if this happen, the father of the ‘kurang ajar’ will ‘ajar’ him in front of his brothers.
I believe generally Malays are well mannered people too. I have many Malay friends & they are all well mannered. But sadly most UMNO youth leaders are the opposite. Saadest part is, the president just keep quiet. No action mean he is ‘kurang ajar’ too.
some said that Pak Lah is the weakest PM in Msian history and I say he is a useless and hopeless one.
Kit, be wary, things may not be what it seems. It could be a ploy by the BN or UMNO. Best just observe and don’t get involved. The BN is now desperate to rally support and this may be their way to do just that.
The problem is Tsu Koon is an opportunist himself (and political eunuch). He is obviously eyeing a federal position and he is the type of political yesman that will comply to UMNO’s whims and fancies to achieve his own political goals. He will not take a risk. His personal agenda is more important and he is willing to sacrifice his principles and the truth. If you ask me, Tsu Koon has not done much for Penang compared to his predecessors like Chong Eu. Penang has poor township planning (jam everyday for years without any improvement), is one of the dirtiest state in Malaysia (rising Dengue cases, asthma), and is riled with corruption at all levels.
It must be real nice for KJ to be AAB’s pet.
Dear Sir (Lim Kit Siang),
Please don’t expect Koh Tsu Koon to call for a BN Supreme Council Meeting to discuss Hishamuddin’s behavior. That will never happen as Koh would not risk jeopardizing his position and all the possible “income” that comes as perks from his position. Even if Koh call for such a discussion to take place, the council will intimidate and possibly suspend him for bringing up such matter.
I suggest that take this incidents as a blessing to strategize better for the next election. Paranjothy should be allowed to run as a DAP candidate and win his constituency and that will shame UMNO and Koh. I feel nothing else will shame them.
What does all other bloggers think?
God bless Malaysia
“Hishammuddin was however denying the undeniable as everyone, except him, would have recognized that he had issued an ultimatum and a threat.”
It didn’t surprise me that Hishamudin can lick whatever he spitted out on the floor back into his mouth, that’s what a garbage can does.
“In being forced to take disciplinary action against Paranjothy, Tsu Koon should have protested against Barisan Nasional double-standards where Umno and Umno Youth leaders…”
In being forced to do wrong, Tsu Koon have proved that he can do it fairly well. Congratulations! Now that Gerakan is part of Barisan Nasional again.
” Dr Koh said Paranjothy would face the disciplinary committee and central working committee for making racially-sensitive remarks. ” STAR
It’d be interesting to see if he would face disciplinary action. If the committee comes down on his side, who would be facing disciplinary action – the Committee for disciplinary action?
Working for ‘change’ from within has not worked. It fails to work even when there are others acting in concert, for ‘change’ from without.
So what works?
Hishamuddin Onn is just expressively saying what he said on the last UMNO AGM.
Stop whining over things that you don’t understand regarding Malay and its cultural strength and how its words are used to each other.
The words for the day I would give Malay is “SENANG”.
Everything Malay do in life, they are aiming at
“SENANG”.
Everything Malay wants to get, they want to get it
“SENANG”
Gets life
“SENANG”
Work
“SENANG”
So.. Please understand. Everything are expressive. Nothing really racial. Just that you non-Malay don’t understand them.
Why not?? Since you just said “It’s so senang”?
Don’t forget Om Senang (or sugar daddy in Indonesian)!
I wonder if people may have missed the bigger picture in the growing disenchantment with the Pak Lah’s administration.
Rustam Ali tells PPP and Indians to get lost – even now.
Keris-muddin tells Gerakan to go fly kite (in not so plain words) in the Pearl of the Orient (Penang).
Toyo tells MIC and the Indians (in not so many words) – ‘Go to hell’ (literally or figuratively with the destruction of temples.
Then Zam the Mis-informed Minister of Dis-information goes screaming and screaming…and screaming with his discordant and unintelligle messages. Adding to the cacophony of noise and confusion.
Such stories abound.
Notice that Rustam, Kerismuddin, Toyo and ZAm and the hordes of other rabble-rousers and trouble-causers are actually (once overtly, now covertly ) Tun M’s lackeys or jockeys. Their noise and stirring of the hornets’ nests are evidently intended to raise the temperature in PM’s kitchen cabinet. Everyone knows Tun M has called Pak Lah’s government ‘the rotten government’ and his kitchen cabinet ‘half-past-six’. Whilst Dr M puts on a straight face, his jockeys are falling over each other to do his bidding, hoping to get a pole position if Pak LAh falls.
Interesting stuff.
My bet is Pak LAh has a limited honeymoon left, with or without the GE, if Tun M succeeds with his frightening stratagems. Let’s see which jockey gets front-row and which suffers engine failure.
Poor pak Lah – Tun M is right (and in this he is devious!) in his stratagem to put a weak, mindless guy as PM for a season till he gets removed and replaced by Tun M’s lackey. MAchiavellian, as I see it.
But Malaysia suffers. Do you think Tun M cares? What does he care?
ENDANGERED HORN says
“Rustam Ali tells PPP and Indians to get lost – even now.â€
Indians are lost – figuratively speaking of course.
“Keris-muddin tells Gerakan to go fly kite (in not so plain words) in the Pearl of the Orient (Penang).â€
Dr. Koh was seen flying his kite in Penang over the weekend and the Christmas holiday.
“Toyo tells MIC and the Indians (in not so many words) – ‘Go to hell’ (literally or figuratively with the destruction of temples.â€
Samy says it is OK if he could take all his riches with him – and of course his toupee along.
“Then Zam the Mis-informed Minister of Dis-information goes screaming and screaming…adding to the cacophony of noise and confusion.â€
One more confused Minister will not rock the boat.
“….stirring of the hornets’ nests are evidently intended to raise the temperature in PM’s kitchen cabinet.â€
Pak Lah says “If you cannot stand the heat, do not come into the kitchen.â€
“Do you think Tun M cares? What does he care?â€
He cares about his heart. He has a bad heart.
Nothing like some comic relief la! It is so politically tense and the mere drop of a lighted match could start a fire! You don’t want that!
The problem is Tsu Koon is an opportunist himself (and political eunuch). ”
An opportunist is a politician defined.
“As you know uneducated used force and the wise one use its brain.†stk
The dumb and mute do nothing
It is better to be dumb than dumb.
The UMNOputra agenda:
If KTK does not take the KRISmudin instruction, out Gerakan go!
In the next GE, they would go all out to swamp Penang, telling all the Non-Malays, UMNO is for all, they will still ‘make sure’ of a Chinese ‘puppet’ chief minister even if MCA only get 1 seat! “what a heart warming deed!?”
After that, under the pretext of ‘to pacify the Malay community’, the CM post will be handed over to the Malay.
And once taken over, well, the same like NEP, its their ‘right’!
PLEASE DON’T MAKE IT AN ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!! (YELL THE UMNOputras)
LKY, please go mad! Speak up! Please tell the UMNOputras what were the agreements when Tun Razak trying to get Gerakan and Pas to form the BN in 1969? Let all Malaysians know the history before some of you who were at the helm then are gone!
“I suggest that take this incidents as a blessing to strategize better for the next election. Paranjothy should be allowed to run as a DAP candidate and win his constituency and that will shame UMNO and Koh. I feel nothing else will shame them.”
What about the time he spent opposing DAP, serving the party DAP has been opposing vehemently? What about DAP loyalists who have been waiting for their turn for years to be nominated for that seat?
>some said that Pak Lah is the weakest PM in Msian history and I say he is a useless and hopeless one.
The PM should not be overly strong like a dictator (like Mahathir). But he should not be so weak as he is controlled by others and could not exert any influence. It seems to us as if his son in law is running his job?
though it’s becoming worst for us to know ..
all of us need to pass through this path somehow, someday…
let it be that we are the generation that witness these rather than our children.
let us bear witness to all those past mistakes and short terms achievements failures so that our children can have their own future to begin fresh again…
most of our politicians are living in the shadow of the past and wear masks in their daily life..
monies are the main reason that they are so involved in that areas and stay in power means they are winner ..
the whole idea of getting involved in politics in Malaysia wasn’t because they want to serve … it’s so that they can be serve ..
HTHO is the 3rd generation decending from JO, as I was told once before by a friend that normally nothing lasted more than the 3rd generations in their beliefs …
Well, somehow .. there is some level of truth in his sharing here.
That goes to says that the universal laws are mightier than ourselves.
I believe it’s OJ rather than JO .. sorry typo error.
“What about the time he spent opposing DAP, serving the party DAP has been opposing vehemently? What about DAP loyalists who have been waiting for their turn for years to be nominated for that seat?”
The only problem is can he win the seat?
Pssst.. don’t make so much noise. The iman’s dozing and dreaming and singing the following in his blissful sleep—
Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
Can someone tell Tsu Koon that there are still dead rats and cats floating in the drainage in front his office?
As usual people who tell the truth are always victimised. We all know the lies and deceit that BN has wrecked upon us. Paranjothy was telling the truth. IN fact, his statement not just reflects the marginalisation of Indians but also the Chinese and all non muslims. Tell me the Ibans and Kadazan Dusuns in East M’sia are not marginalised!
The sad part of Malaysia politic is many were failed to see the future problems of having “third class mentality” and cheated by the “BN ‘s controlled ” media.
Some extremist crying for ” ketuanan Melayu ” are just making themselves to be lacked behind in 21st century and thinking they are saviour.

UMNO and AAB talking on Policy is number 2, but
implementing the Policy and follow-up process is
Number 9!!
They flunked and scored ZERO mark!!
“Umno Youth chief Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has denied that his statement on what Gerakan Youth deputy chief S. Paranjothy said was a threat”.
This is not the firs time he had threatened a Component party and to deny it is either he do not know the meaning of threat or his bloated feeling of supremacy has made him think that such action do no constitute a threat, not until he unsheathed his keris and draws blood.
Not so long ago if anybody can remember he had also threatened MCA, please see reply from MCA:
Surat terbuka kepada Ketua Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO
22 Julai 2007

That is a very dangerous strategy. Nobody likes an opportunist.
Hishamuddin, I nominate you to be the biggest Douche in the Universe. Hope you win ok?
Dear Readers.
I refer to comments on remarks by Paramjothi and subsequent response by Hishamuddin. It is interesting to see the former claimed “from the bottom of his heart” and yet still remain in Gerakan.
If Mr Paramjothi does not agree with policies of Barisan National, he should leave . By all mean criticize but do spare the insulting remarks on UMNO. I mean everybody knows how Hindraf lied . Why on earth Paramjothi must agree with it.
As for Hishamuddin, he should be more diplomatic in his remarks. A slip of tongue can be damaging for a politician. and I see nothing wrong with Koh Tsu Koon’s remarks. I believe he is a mature leader. He does not sanction what Paramjothi said. Neither he is happy to the response by Hishamuddin.
And Paramjothi’s remarks confirms what UMNO feels all along. That many who claim to be objective tend to “ignore” what Paamjothi said and put the blame squarely on UMNO.
And those who claimed that UMNO is so fond to “bully” other BN component party should revisit history. Way back in 1959, then President of MCA, Dr Lim Chong Eu sent ultimatum TO UMNO that it will not cooperate with UMNO if not given more seat.
UMNO, not used to this kind of politics responded that it is up for MCA whether to stay or go out of Perikatan. Fortunately good sense prevails among MCA leaders. They realized that UMNO alone can set the Federal Govt( as at Merdeka, UMNO controls 34 out of 52 seats) .
As for Mr Chiakchua, there is no such thing as UMNOputra. There is no denying that millions of Malays and non Malays benefit from govt policies( meaning UMNO led govt). By the way, dont anyone from this forum realize how A Chinese Chamber of Commerce put a statement on the facade of its building about the closure of a Chinese School in Damansara. See. Extremism also exists in your community Chiakchua. The bottom line is that “it lies”.
KrisMuddin is not tactful and always emotional in
delivering his speeches.
He is inmature most of the time in his thinking and
the way he looks at matters and issues. Worse still
being emotional and reckless in decision making!!
A very lousy leader!! Malang nya nasib kita dan negara
kita semua!!! Bad choice!!! Oxford graduate, KJ also
behaves like street hooligan leading a street demonstration
in front of America Embassy some time ago…!!
Very Bad Choice too!! Suggest KJ looks to Uncle Lee Kuan
Yew and his son, PM Lee Shien Loong to learn 1 thing or
2 if he is bright enough to catch what they say and do…!!
– Jeffrey
Probably YB Lim is thinking about social etiquette protocol, and maintaining the dignity of the office of President of a component party of BN. Daring to take risk is a quality of leadership.
UMNO Young Turks are obviously not trained in social etiquette protocols.
If your kid (Paranjothy) fights with his classmate (Hisham), it is against social etiquette for your kid’s classmate to rebuke you (Koh Tsu Koon). You don’t smack your kid’s classmate. You deal with your kid’s classmate’s father (Barisan Nasional Supreme Council). You may conclude that your kid’s classmate has bad upbringing, which reflects badly on his father.
If UMNO Old Turks allow the Young Turks to show disrespect to component parties’ Old Turks, then something is wrong with the relationship.
As suggested by YB Lim, Tsu Koon as Head of Gerakan must seriously consider requisitioning for a Barisan Nasional Supreme Council meeting to demand the stopping of Umno Youth leaders’ bullying and intimidating the leaders from the other Barisan Nasional component parties if he wants Gerakan to be treated as equal partners, unless he is willing to allow Gerakan and other component parties to be subordinated to the Young Turks, and/or unless his position is so weak as to be at the mercy of UMNO.
It is Tsu Koon’s responsibility to maintain the dignity of the office of President of Gerakan. He should tell the Young Turks off by saying “You may not wish to show me, Tsu Koon any respect but you must respect the President of Gerakan!â€, instead of kowtowing to them and offering Paranjothy as sacrificial lamb.
N.B.
— “poison fruit†is not found in any dictionary. Jeffrey, kindly explain its meaning.
— “passion fruit†is closest occurring in 15 dictionaries
— “Forbidden fruit†found in 14 dictionaries, meaning anything that is tempting but dangerous (as sexuality)
— Fruit of the poisonous tree is a legal term in the United States used to describe evidence gathered with the aid of information obtained illegally. The logic of the terminology is that if the source of the evidence (the “tree”) is tainted, then anything gained from it (the “fruit”) would be likewise.
The Chinese and Indian civilizations are well known throughout the world and have been around for some six millenniums, what about Malay civilization? It has been around for only six centuries. How to compare their brains which required time to develop and evolve? Refer to Charles Darwin’s “Origin of Species” for further information.
No wonder the UMNOputras and Elite Malays cannot
comprehend issues well and slow in actions…!!
Their brains need time to evolve and develop…still
very new and seldom make use of it…!!!
Tsu Koon requisition to BN Supreme Council? No way man, the most recent news, where BN party whip Najis, just stepped in and increased the pressure on Tsu Koon by clearly stating that Paranjothy deserves to be punished meaning that Tsu Koon wont have any say anymore. His so called requisition will be drowned in a mob environment of BN. So do you think Tsu Koon doing requisition is even practical? I dare say, it is totally not practical. In theory you can say he should do this and that, but in practise, he is not going to do it, Paranjothy will be made example of for BN/UMNO to keep their component party in check. The reason is they are trying to do damage control to prevent more people within from uttering out dissatisfaction and truth. That is how a corrupted organisation work. You make that you silenced the most vocal and charismatic person, and the rest will dare not raise this issue to challenge your authority.
EARNEST: ‘Poison fruit’ is used by me as a metaphor to describe, by way of figure of speech, something that, by outward appearance, looks tempting, just like a tasty and succulent “fruitâ€, but to actually succumb to the temptation of taking a bite exposes one to peril, as the word “poison†is suggestive of some malignity of nature or purpose.
EVIDENCE Act Malaysia
How much of information received from accused may be proved
27. When any fact is deposed to as discovered in consequence of information received from a person accused of any offence in the custody of a police officer, so much of such information, whether such information amounts to a confession or not, as relates distinctly to the fact thereby discovered may be proved.
Sec. 27 above dilutes, if you will, or reduces the severity of the doctrine of the “fruit of the poisonous tree”.
Jeffrey,DarkHorse,
Thanks for the elaborations.

PM AAB is still maintaining his elegant silence. Is he still in control?

This is typical malaysian relationship between races.
OPur racial issue is liability…..Bangkok post say so….refer the link above.
Hishammudin is a Kris weilding ganster, he’s the who’s undermining the ‘peace’ (the little that we have) of this country) He’s the one ho should be put behind bars under the ISA., not the people who just question their birth rights of this country. watch out next time he might bring a barzooka to the parliament. Kia su kun , why should u chicken out when he speaks, cos u r just their stooge, well done Paranjothy, U are the MAN., We need more of u’s in our parliament., Samy is an absolute disgrace., so thick skinned that he not bothered when he got booed recently in Penang., he should be investigated by the ACA for all the wealth he has accomulated all these years, especially his property portfolio in Australia., he is not resigning because he’s still too busy accumulating more wealth . To be absurdlly rich is be connected strongly polictically , that’s the way all the rich hay is made. So to protect the status quo, you got to act like gangsters too, like our disgraced politicians.
Luckily KTK did not hold up the “Federal Constitution” this time as what Liao from MCA did. Think what good is the Federal Constitution compared to the kris in the hand of Hishamuddin? You may talk law but this dungdut talks force!
You see, there are many nuisance ministers in UMNO and Hisap-putin is one of them. This chap so call Hisap-putin is a liability to us Malaysians because he is not bright but very good at playing political games.
Tsu Koon is another “lembek” chief minister of Penang,in term of quality.Tsu Koon can put Hisap-putin in his pocket but because Gerakan is just a “kacang putih ” party in BN,Tsu Koon has to be careful whenever he has to deal with UMNO the big brothers.Gerakan and opposition together can form the next government of Penang if Tsu Koon dare to pull out of BN.But because of selfishness,Gerakan prefer to be subservient to UMNO and endure the humiliation by UMNO on a regular basis.Even KJ the “small boy ” has the gut to question Tsu Koon on the so call marginalisation of malay in the island. How can we,Penagites support Gerakan when he is so timid and without dignity.I would rather have Nik Aziz as chief minister of Penang then to be humiliated by UMNO under Gerakan.
