Malaysia Reformed

by Allan CF Goh

The country lives in calmness,
And grows into its greatness.
People live a useful life,
Free of any racist strife.
Each is allowed his own dream,
Without nightmare or rude scream.
Each nurtures his potential,
With no obstacles racial.
We’re one nation, one people.

Malaysia Reformed has charms,
In people’s smile that disarms;
Like the beaches with tall palms,
And the breeze’s caressing balm.
Malaysia is harmony,
Sharing a common destiny,
Of one country, one nation,
With the same destination.
This is the hope of one people.

Nature is well protected,
Without being desecrated.
Nature’s beauties bless the land;
The environment is grand.
Forests grow with leniency;
Flowers bloom with ecstasy.
Native animals stay free,
They live life with nature’s glee.
They, too, have rights like all people.

People have maturity,
Appreciate diversity.
We respect our difference,
Treat that with due deference.
We detest cacophony,
That causes acrimony.
Sharing the same ambition,
We strive for our dear nation.
We are diverse, but one people.

Malaysia Reformed can boast
Of a State of people’s toast:
Answerable to justice,
Set in good, proper premise.
True justice is the day’s norm,
Dispensed in a balanced form.
Make people’s lives simple, rich;
With cherished hopes within reach.
That is the wish of one people.

Elections are transparent,
To ensure rights inherent,
Of the people’s right to vote,
To choose candidates of note,
So as to helm the nation,
To its great destination.
Voting is democracy,
Not a show of hypocrisy.
This is the right of real people.

We must have education
For the nation’s salvation,
To equip our citizens,
To be fruitful denizens;
Able to utilize skills,
With true intelligence spills;
To stand on their very own,
Reliable and well known.
This is the need of all people.

Education needs to gain
The facts of the knowledge train,
To produce the thinking men,
Burnished with the honour-mien.
Who can discern right from wrong,
Not being led and strung along.
They will support “Right is might”,
Never bow to might is right.
It’s the moral of one people.

This will produce folks courteous,
Firmly moral and righteous,
Really learned and humble,
Without the wild loud grumble.
Let this our Malaysia be,
Industrious, busy as the bee,
But who find time for leisure,
In things fine for their pleasure.
This is the peaceful one people.

Malaysia Reformed exists,
If citizens can resist
All the discriminations,
And all the vile corruptions.
Correct all the wrongs to right.
Let not this the nation blight.
Malaysia must have fairness,
The only way to greatness.
This is the dream of one people.

  1. Faekah: ‘Mahathir will go down in the annals of Malaysian history as a traitor and a racist who has sold the country to the dogs”

    Rakyat: Away with this rogue in sheep’s clothing.

  2. CNBC:
    “In a reference to the tribal tensions between the Hutus and Tutsis that were at the center of the genocide, Bill Clinton explained the Foundation’s goals: “I want people to revel in our diversity and respect it without thinking that we have to refer to each other in negative terms. That is, I can be proud of my heritage without dismissing yours.”

    Hello Mahathir, Racist No.1 in Malaysia, are you listening?

  3. It is divide and rule politic, systemically, M’sian minds were boxes of race, boxes of rights, boxes of religion, boxes of anything and everything, for the single reason, ‘to rule’ and satisfy the greed.

    It is a simple, conventional system, but, growing up within the system, operates as part of system, one could not see this through.

    You have to get out of the system, looking from outside, it was crystal clear. We were all lost souls.

    Go back into our mother-nature, so diverse, yet so peaceful, so harmony, no conflict.

    We were too disconnect from the nature, we forgot the reason of living, other than ‘take’, ‘win’, ‘fame’ and ‘enjoy’.
