Is Sarawak Barisan Nasional opposed to the appointment of a Dayak Sarawak Chief Minister in the 2021 Sarawak state general election – for the first time in half a century since the appointment of two Iban Chief Ministers from 1963-1970?

I am surprised that there is no strong reaction from both the Federal and Sarawak Barisan Nasional leaders to the shockingly unMalaysian statement by the PAS President Datuk Seri Hadi Awang that a Chinese or a non-Muslim bumiputera cannot be the Sarawak Chief Minister.

As the PAS President has become a close ally of the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, even defending Najib’s RM50 billion 1MDB global financial scandal, why is Najib and caretaker Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem silent on Hadi’s shocking statement?

So far only the PBB Vice President and Deputy Minister for Rural and Regional Development Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi had expressed his outrage at Hadi’ statement, causing him to describe Hadi as “ignorant” and “stupid”.

But why are the heavyweights like Najib and Adenan silent on this important issue?

I have said that if DAP achieves our twin objective on Polling Day tomorrow of defending the 12 State Assembly seats won five years ago, and succeeds in making breakthroughs and victories among some of the 16 Dayak constituencies like Mulu, Murum, Samalaju, Kemena, Ngemah, Pakan, Tasik Biru, Mambong, Kedup, Bukit Semuja, Bukit Goram, Katibas, sending to the Sarawak State Assembly a strong team of Chinese, Dayak and Malay State Assembly representatives , then Sarawak DAP is ready to make the next Sarawak State General Election in 2021 a great battleground to end the six decades of Sarawak Barisan Nasional rule in Sarawak and its replacement by a new DAP or DAP-led Sarawak State Government.

When there is a new Sarawak State Government in the 12th Sarawak State General Election, there will be a new Sarawak Chief Minister (Adenan would have retired as he had asked for another term of five years as Sarawak Chief Minister, and he would be granted his wish on Polling Day tomorrow), and the most likely candidate as the new DAP Sarawak Chief Minister in 2021 would be a Dayak.

Is Sarawak Barisan Nasional opposed to the appointment of a Dayak Sarawak Chief Minister in the 2021 Sarawak state general election – for the first time in half a century since the appointment of two Iban Chief Ministers from 1963-1970, Stephen Kalong Ningkan and Tawi
Sli?

Let us hear from the heavyweights in Barisan Nasional, both at federal and Sarawak state levels, whether they agree to the appointment of a non-Muslim bumiputra as Sarawak Chief Minister in 2021 or they share with Hadi grave objection to such an appointment?

  1. Hadi is closet DUMNO. He is voicing Najis instructions. Having a Dayak CM is a brilliant idea. Young Dayaks have matured and should be given a chance. I hope that Sarawakians can see that. That is the surest sign that Sarawak is for Sarawakians. DUMNO is afraid of that because they will then have difficulty making Sarawak a fixed deposit.
Anyway, lets focus on the election tomorrow. A few hours more.
I thank all the DAP supporters, volunteers and Leaders who have spend hours campaigning, travelling up and down Sarawak. A special thanks to YB Chong and of course Superman Septuagenarian Kit for his boundless energy and great spirit for change. Whatever the results be tomorrow, you have all done your very best. I am confident that all your hard work will see 25 DAP and 5 ( PKR / Amanah ). It is now in the hands of the people and God. Thank you.

  2. PAS is now d mouth piece of UmnoB
Of cos, Sarawak BN agreed with PAS n UmnoB

Anyway, better get ready for BUY-ERECTIONS after 7 May 2016
UmnoB cannot fool people all d time
D divine power had decided 2 exterminate some suddenly n swiftly
Some tot they had a lucky escape, but they don’t know what fate awaits them
Rakyat wait n see – Akan datang

  3. 2021 is too far for most voters. But this election, Adenan kicked out Pakatan Harapan leaders but did nothing to Hadi Awang and PAS leaders. A vote for Adenan is a vote for Najib and his not so secret partner Hadi’s PAS. Too many votes for Adenan and after one more term, Najib will own Sarawakian and trade them in for Hadi’s PAS support in Peninsula.

  4. UmnoB/BN now know HOW 2 deal with DAP n PKR
Let d two kill each other
Every UmnoB/BN controlled state will BLOCK d entry of DAP n PKR key people into d state during campaign time
Use $$$ politics – Gua tolong lu, Lu tolong gua; after polling date, $$$ 4 U
Rakyat must accept dat d nation will return to PRE 2008 era, politically
Pakatan is DEAD, Harapan is NO HOPE
UmnoB/BN remain d MOST long lasting n stable gomen in d world, even though well known 4 corruption n anti-democracy
More open corruptions, more deaths, possibly higher GST – SO WHAT? Voters still love UmnoB/BN

  5. PAS President Datuk Seri Hadi Awang men lost in all the 11 seats it contested. Serves him right, their kind of politics will never gain ground outside of Kelantan, and even in his state, PAS is terribly losing support!
Look at the other results DAP lost 5 urban seats to BN, firstly due to money politics. Secondly, the stupidity of DAP and PKR of not compromising. So very very stupid, you reap what you sow, stupid people!
Snap elections for the peninsula is just around the corner, so DAP and PKR learn your lessons from Sarawak and win big in the peninsula.

  6. Najib is already exaggerating the meaning of Sarawak election. For GE 14 he will use the excuse the opposition is divided to CHEAT and commit fraud. In fact, THAT is Pakatan greatest sin of their infighting to put it on the platter that blunt’s criticism of Najib and UMNO.

You can feel the deep hidden willfulness of Najib in his words about the win. The fraud will be massive, Hadi Awang will be key to playing spoiler against the opposition. Pakatan has to defeat UMNO-PAS, not just UMNO.

  7. To a very large extent, this state election was lost because of the stupidity of the opposition.
They have mountains of FACTUAL EVIDENCE regarding the malfeasance being constantly practised daily in that state which is more than enough to counter any excuses or lies of the incumbent or the money spent.
And they have plenty of time to do so!
But did they do anything with it?
So, just blaming their opponents for their defeat is inexcusable.

  8. AhCheatKor is supposed 2 b most vulnerable, weakest now
This is supposed 2 b d weakest moment of UmnoB/BN
    Even MMK hammered UmnoB/BN

D S’wak erection results did NOT show weakness of UmnoB/BN at all
Rather, they showed d weakness of DAP, PKR, Pakatan, Harapan – ALL MATI
Blardi EGO n selfishness! Stupid – They deserved 2 b buried
    RIP

  9. Clearly there r UmnoB MOLES/sleepers/AGENTS inside PKR, Pakatan (if it still exits), Harapan

Even fools can predict d outcomes of DAP-PKR farking each other in a constituency n its NEGATIVE effects on other constituencies where DAP n PKR stood on their own

Voters/rakyat can C through your PSEUDO cooperation, despite having slept together since 2008
While one hand shakes hand with d other person, d other hand of each person holds a sharp knife ready 2 STAB
    SICKO

CARRY ON dis way in Peninsular Malaysia in d next GE n both DAP n PKR will b exterminated

  10. It’s not just Najib and his team that has willful feudal overentitlement, listen to Azmin attempting to skip being blamed for the opposition failure by pretending to be statesman.

Like it or not Malay leaders and non Malays who follow them are racist – in UMNO, in PAS, in PKR. Unless the Malays stand up to the highest universal liberal principle, its a knot no one can untie for them and logical choice for the rest of us is to take care if ourselves first and foremost.
