A New Morality?

by Allan CF Goh

Listen, listen, listen,
Do not rebut at all,
In spite of the foolishness,
Despite lacking truthfulness.

When wrongs are committed,
You shall not see or hear.
Citizens may not report;
Ignore the racist import.

Just obey and follow,
Ask not, and question not.
It is the prerogative,
Care not the pejorative.

Listen everybody,
And hurt not the feeling.
It’s the new morality.
It’s the new mentality.

So loudly they ranted,
Those mad, senseless bigots:
They want the country to burn;
They wish not a better turn.

Citizens must be tamed,
Or sent to foreign land.
Nobody can ask questions.
Everything is sedition.

Only some are allowed
To talk and shout rubbish.
Don’t reply, it’s an insult,
Never mind the vile result!

  1. Hope our leaders would focus their attention to solve the country’s “negative credit rating outlook” problem instead of wasting time on trivial petty issues. The country will suffer if investors and tourists lose confidence in the nation’s financial position.

  2. Its not a new morality.. Its old, where there is no problem, they make one so that they can use it as an excuse to abuse something or someone..When they mess up, they make another problem or someone elses to blame and then use that as an excuse to abuse the system to cover it up and to the next foolishness – the Malay Deilima, social contract, Chinese given citizenship so colonising Sabah, Red Bean Army, non-Malays want power, non-Muslim insulting Islam etc. etc.

    Watch it, the next one is to use the negative Fitch rating as an excuse to push through GST or/and remove subsidies when its the corruption, waste and vote-buying that is the problem.

    Excuses is UMNO’s core methodology.
