The new Home Minister, Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is the best example of being “own victim” of the lies of UMNO/BN 13GE “war room” about DAP spending more than a billion ringgit in past six years to employ a 3,000-strong “Red Bean Army” of cybertroopers to demonise him and other UMNO/BN leaders.
This is again illustrated by today’s Utusan Malaysia, one of the chief instruments of UMNO/BN propangada in the 13GE, which carried a report headlined “Red Bean Army serang kerajaan – Ekoran DAP gagal peroleh kuasa di Putrajaya”, which states:
I do not believe Zahid suffers from any hallucination about the DAP spending more than a billion ringgit in the past six years to employ a 3,000-strong “Red Bean Army” of cybertroopers to demonise him and other Umno/BN leaders.
The kindest thing one can say about Zahid is to regard him as an “own victim” of UMNO/BN 13GE “war room” lies about DAP spending more than a billion ringgit in the past six years to employ 3,000-strong “Red Bean Army” cybertroopers to demonise him and other UMNO/BN leaders.
Zahid is being doubly foolish – firstly, for believing in the lies of the Umno/BN “war room” strategists and propagandists meant to confuse and befuddle the enemy camp and secondly, for being the only Minister on record to be publicly identified with allegations about the DAP’s fictitious “Red Bean Army”.
Clearly, Zahid is not being smart at all – to believe in the lies perpetrated by his own people.
Of course, the UMNO/BN “war room” strategists and propagandists have a vested interest to perpetuate the lies they have created in the 13GE about the Pakatan Rakyat in order to justify their abject failure to deliver their boastful prediction that UMNO/BN would win the 13GE with a two-thirds parliamentary majority despite a general election war chest running into hundreds of millions of ringgit directly and indirectly in a massive media campaign that encompasses print, television, billboards, online sites and whole armies of UMNO/BN cybertroopers, whether “Belacan Army”, “Ikan Bakar Army”, “Cincin Army” or “Petai Army”.
Zahid’s continued regurgitation of the lies about the DAP’s fictitious “Red Bean Army” has piqued my curiosity and I have caused a search and I have found that the lies, myth and legend about the DAP’s fictitious “Red Bean Army” of cybertroopers were written extensively in the Umno/BN media, in particular Utusan Malaysia, New Straits Times and Star just before polling day on May 5 and in the ensuing weeks.
For instance, days before Polling Day on May 5, New Straits Times carried an article entitled “Beware of DAP’s cyber troopers” which said:
KUALA LUMPUR: Beware of the DAP-sponsored cyber troopers, known as the Red Bean Army, who are ready to wreak havoc in the cyberworld.
The core group was said to comprise of between 2,000 and 3,000 members who could easily reach 60,000 people by sending out postings via social networks.
The members were said to be employed full time with a salary of between RM3,000 and RM8,000 each and they have been told to launch attacks on pro-government websites and social networks, spreading lies about the government and prevent any effort to connect with the people via the net.
Media analysts said the group, which was formed between four to six years ago, were also directed to “kill off” pro-government comments in alternative media and disrupt programmes that lent credit to the government.
They said this “army” would manipulate information and widen their attack on the government.
One of their duties was also to create feelings of hatred towards the government.
I am totally astounded and amazed that a senior Cabinet Minister and UMNO leader who have pretensions to become UMNO President and Prime Minister one day could believe such garbage churned out by the UMNO/BN “War Room” strategists and propagandists.
Taking an average of RM5,000 a month (re the allegation of a monthly salary between RM3,000 and RM8,000 each) for the 3,000 cybertrooper in the so-called DAP “Red Bean Army”, this will come out to a gargantuan expenditure of RM15 million a month or RM180 million a year – and the mind-boggling total of RM1.08 billion in six years!
Zahid believes that DAP is capable of spending RM1.08 billion in six years to employ some 3,000 cybertroopers in the “Red Bean Army” to demonise the UMNO/BN leaders?
Zahid must be nuts to believe such rubbish but he is giving daily credence to such lies about the DAP’s “Red Bean Army” of paid 3,000 cybertroopers as in today’s Utusan Malaysia.
With such senior Cabinet Ministers and UMNO leaders like Zahid exposing himself as an intellectual lightweight who could be so gullible as to believe the lies churned out by the UMNO/BN “war room” strategists and propagandists, what confidence could Malaysians have in the calibre, quality and excellence of the Najib Cabinet to promote genuine national transformation, to effect a national reconciliation or take the country to a higher level of development?
Hahaha, Zahid should quit & apply to be comedian in Hollywood… if DAP has 1bil then BN would already have lost, coz the idiot doesn’t understand that any number of DAP supporters (maybe 300,000) would do the work for FREE just so that they can see Zahid out of his job & applying to be a comedian. 1bil could be put to much better use.
Call an lemon a dragon fruit and it will taste just as sour.
Call Zahid an intellectual lightweight is being overly complimentary. It’s useless; you should just call him what he is – a pea brain.
He’s been eating too much cincalok all his life that it is now affecting his pea brains.
With him running the Home Ministry, we should all be concerned, very concerned as we might soon be overrun by walla-wallas.
umno lousy politicians become minister , of all reason, the least is due to their intellectual capability.
What kind of a man is this Zahid?
First he sold out the one who brought him up in UMNO, he played a Judas on Anwar Ibrahim in 1999. He became a complete Mahathir’s YESMAN!!!!
Yes indeed he is one among them who have the potential to become Prime Minister of Malaysia having served as Defence Minister in the last cabinet and now Home Minister. His head must be quite swollen. At last Moo has a real competitor.
But what kind of a man is he? A self seeking man who only serves his self interest. Is there hope for Malaysia through him?
Does he have time to look after the safety of the public after getting hooked on UMNO/BN 13GE “war room” lies?
Good grief! No one asked him to. But then again, what are we to expect of umno idiots? Stupid as ever. And zahid is clearly no different.
Now tell me. Did anyone here ever ask zahid to take off his trousers and bare his bottom? Honestly, did anyone do that?
The answer: Eeee lek. Tada. No one. So you see because of zahid’s decision (oops I can see smoke behind jibby’s red ears) to bare his bottom we now got to know umno’s rate for bloggers to post toxic lies and smears against pakatan.
Zahid did not pluck the 1 billion ringgit figure out of thin air. It was calculated based on umno’s own rate. So lets work out the sum, shall we?
1billion he said was spent over a period of 6 yrs for a total of 3,000 (wooow I luv this) cybertroopers.
Simple sum. 1,000,000,000/(3,000×6)= taaadaaaa, 55,500 (approx). Lets round it up to 60,000 ringgit.
That means umno pays each of their cybertroopers RM5,000 a month for posting nonsense in the internet!
OMG!
It’s the Martians……the Green Bean Army, about one million of them with highly advanced and sophisticated computer skills.
A key doctrine of Mahathirism is to tell a ridiculous lie then backtrack into a compromise to get something you for what is really nothing in the first place. In order to graduate and get promoted in the Mahathirist world, you must perfect the art of telling ridiculous lies. All Perkasa members train very very hard at doing this and believe the more ridiculous one’s lies are, the better one fortune will be..
Not really… more like a red bean brain… and half as smart as Mr Bean. But his head is as swollen as a cempedak. There! And nobody paid me RM$5000 to say that!
UMNO is so much richer than the DAP. UMNO and its cronies own many profitable listed companies. Many Government contracts are awarded to these companies. DAP owns no listed company. If DAP could afford to pay over a billion ringgit to the alleged 3000 strong “red bean army” over the past 6 years, then UMNO could afford a budget several hundred times bigger to engage the cyber troopers to demonise the DAP. Zahid only wanted to slander the DAP. He didn’t care about the means so long as he could achieve his ends.
I am not surprised if Najib attributes his poor performance in GE13 to DAP’s invincible “Red Bean Army” at the party polls.
Yeah, with $1bil let’s get the Ark of the Covenant & the Holy Grail as well, not to mention Rosmah’s diamond – sure win one! loool
Ambition often puts men upon doing the meanest offices; so climbing is performed in the same posture with creeping.
Not only utusan, but it seems like Malaysia today blog indulged itself in this news as well.
LOL !!! The concerned RAKYAT will do it for free, own commited time and effort and even fork out donations for PAKATAN just to show SUPPORT in kind and spirit. Whereas, Bumno has to bribe, giveaways, BRIMS 1,2,3,, provide goodies, food, transport etc. ( though is ALL Rakyat’s monies ! ) instead. This Jahit guy just have to SPIN and LIES in ‘broad daylight’ same kind, clone of Mamaak, Bumno,,,FULLSTOP.
Hey zahid idiot listen.
Listen properly.
Now listen.
To us, posting comments in the blogsphere is just like some old uncles making remarks in the coffee shop during the days before the WWW came about.
Get it?
We, cybertroopers?
Phaaaaarkofff, will ya.
