///PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim is a believer of religious pluralism, who has a close relationship with Christian leaders/// Having a “close relationship” with Christian leaders is but a spin by those who play the religious/race card but is Anwar for sake of certain quarters of conservative muslim votes, going to declare that he’s not a believer in religious pluralism, meaning he stands or religious monism (one religion) thereby forsaking non muslim votes? Wouldn’t that make him no different in principle from those he politically opposes? One either proceeds on principled stand or does not. One does not get loyalty from making situational stands depending on audience.
If everything in this country is and becomes a sum zero game of race and religion and of us versus them/others, where’s the future for this country whichever way election goes?
Another Christian-bashing again really. Always Christians. Why are Muslims so fearful of Christians? Don’t they all share a common heritage?
My Muslim friends can’t really give me one good reason why they fear Christians. Most don’t have any issues really and they blame it on some narrow minded bigots and maggots out to create problems to advance their private agendas with many dalangs in the background supporting and instigating them.
well one form of religion or another will always subsist for so long as people need faith to answer the unanswerable, to provide a framework of guidance and a basis for hope. As for religion being organised, well organised religion helps the rulers, leaders and elites to shrewdly control, through hope and fear, the masses to do their will/purposes. So its a problem that has no conceivable ending.
Again beating the gong of division. These leaders are now showing their true colours. Never for Malaysia. Looks like all for survival. I suppose desperate time calls for desperate measures, which will certainly make their desperate times even more desperate.
Let us chuck them out, so that they can learn to be humble and behave like good Malaysians.
We must change the tenant at Putrajaya. GE 13 is coming. They are getting desperate. We must not fail. Brothers unite. First to GE 13, then to Putrajaya.
It simply is the reality of the Malaysian society that such divide and rule works so well.
Its not just Malaysia that this works – look at the US Presidential election – the Tea Party agenda holds the country hostage and the Republican for the last few elections offers nothing but fantasy and negative politics without a real plan any significantly different than the Democrat – and still able to garner close to 50% of the vote..
Like it or not, its not true that the Malays heartland don’t know that UMNO/BN is corrupt. Its not that they don’t know such hate-religio-politics is made-up..Truth is they don’t feel their responsibility to change things, they don’t feel their responsibility if things go wrong. They take for granted that even if things go wrong, someone else is responsible and they are not to be blamed.. In their mind, they can’t fathom how are such big issues as corruption of powerful people and abuse of power the responsibility of their simple minds and simple lives especially given they are wrapped around issues of their religion they put on a pedestal..
Its social undevelopment, immaturity – that is a greater enemy than UMNO/BN in reality is..
Our very own form of McCarthyism..

The world would be a better place without organized religions.

“Better devils you know than angels you don’t” – Mahathir
“Better hell you used to than heaven you don’t” – Demon
Devils triumph in hell, these are works of devils.
“religion is about you, build upon love and compassion, simplicity is the key to it” – said angel.
“religion is about processes around you, love and compassion distract and land you in trouble, religion control is the key”- said devil.
