With so many “Janji Tidak Ditepati”, it is time for Sabahans to vote in a more responsible government come GE13.
‘Janji Di-Tepi-kan’ more appropriate especially for Sabah, the poorest state in Malaysia whilst their BN reps grow fatter, fatter, fatter.
YB LKS,
“Janji Ditepati” – oleh Najib untuk Najib-ers ONLY.
Malaysians are left ONLY to smell the fart of BN polluters.
Sorry to digress.
Burma abolishes media censorship

So many unfinished projects in Sabah.
From around 900,000 population bloated up to 3.4 million in 35 years and brag Sabah is UMNO b is security blanket exposed….with millions imported from Philippines and Indonesia….making the real Sabahans become the minorities.
The schemers…the cunning UMNO b politicians …seeing money must grab and steal…so greedy so cruel.
Sickening Mahathir will say…that’s politics.
Lets see how sick are Malaysians wanting to support rouges and thieves on and on for 55 years….no enough..must govern forever.
Malaysians must be voted the sick people of Asia if they don’t use their power of their votes to change and try something else.
Getting rid of corruptions…getting rid of race politics should inspire all…wanting a change.
YB LKS’s trip to Sabah and series of tweets are deft political response to BN’s hijacking of Merdeka theme by a partisan slogan “JanjiDitepati”. Rais said that BN won’t change that theme. So LKS uses that theme against it by showing via power of sharp contrast how the slogan is contradicted at every turn in Sabah! Sabah is good choice for such an exercise in contradiction because (i) its just about the richest state in terms of natural resources but poorest in terms of receiving development aid from Federal Govt and (ii) its one of the two fixed deposit states in which inroads by opposition will threaten BN’ prospects in the imminent GE! Now its fundamental to propaganda objective that one should showcase one’s strength (rather than weakness). Sabah showcases the weakness. The tweets are to show JanjiDitepati is a hoax The opposite- “Janji Tidak Ditepati – is the case! This rubs the locals here more and make the slogan backfires. Smart political counter move by LKS – since one can’t change the Merdeka theme, make use of it by seizing the most dramatic example available in Sabah to point to its hollowness! Some more the picture of him standing on a rock at tip of Borneo looking out to sea in sunrise or sunset(?) makes him look like visionary. Ha ha ha!
Slogans….advertising and promotional campaigns continue.
It started paying RM77 million to a Jewish company for one year service… years ago and on going.
If Najib and UMNO b party is so damn good…why the need to keep campaigning?
All can see….deep inside UMNO b politicians know…their days are numbered.
Why then so afraid to lose an election?…where Najib in frantic moods declared he will lay down his life to prevent traitors taken over Putra Jaya.
Why so dramatic over an election?
All the signs point to these rouges and thieves cannot afford to lose 13th GE at all.
So many murders to answer to too besides corruptions.
Not only jail sentences assured.
Hanging Sadam Hussien gives many UMNO b rouges nightmares.
Campaigning is utmost important.
Exposed all the unfinished projects in Sabah as much as we like.
Najib is feeling his head is heavy and only interested to lighten it.
All the security blanket States are unsecured to him right now.
You want him to finish all unfinished projects?
The millions will be spent to promote….advertise…to make Malaysians believe how good he is.
Najib’s problem is he does not know…the more he tells all how god he is..the more people do not trust him.
Hey, janji di lupa-i. Tu tak serupa dgn janji tak ditepati. Jib cuma dah overlooked janji2 yg dibuat masa dulu oleh umno. Tu je.
Alamak overlook lah!
Di sebaliknya “Janji ditepati”.
Janji-janji korupsi.
Janji-janji penyelewengan pentadbiran.
Janji-janji percanggahan undang-undang.
Janji-janji memunashkan kepercayaan Rayat.
Janji-janji membiarkan pendatang tanpa izin (PTI).
Janji ditepati GE 13.
Tun M, tunggu saje ya.
Our neighboring nation is heading toward the world wealthiest nation! Our Bolehland is reversing toward the 4th world nation!!!
Take a closer look at the following link… http://edition.cnn.com/2012/08/17/business/world-rich-list-singapore/index.html
Bolehland is led by bunch of BN/UMNO suckers. Not only they are suckers; in fact, they are bunch of DEMO & CRAZY suckers. This is what they only know DemoCrazy rather Democracy!
Of cos lah UmnoB/BN r SUCKERS, unending sucking 2 enrich themselves n cronies
It must seem strange that even as “our neighboring nation is heading toward the world wealthiest nation” why so increasingly (as evinced by last GE there) there is a gathering momentum amongst (local) S’poreans esp educated/young for change. Its not becos its the fashion or blowing of wind from Arab Spring from West or 308 tsunami from North! There is an untold story there if one takes closer look beyond the link & popular perception at how wealth is created in this so called “financial centre”, who really finds it a haven…It must strike any reasonable man as odd why the super rich whether Eduardo Saverin, Facebook co-founder or Jim Rogers, the co-founder of the Quantum Fund (privately owned hedge funds) of all places prefer to move to the tiny red dot…whose quality of life weather and even amenities are certainly not the best in the world that their money can buy; more particularly as the world’s super rich (some elites of corrupt regime hedging their bets) and their money (both legit and illegit) increasingly be channeled to and through this narrow funnel in support of the rising Sing$ and property prices (with an interest rate in FD less than 1% per annum) more and more average locals get dissatisfied with many getting out with those remaining clamoring for change (like “4th world Bolehland here) Are S’poreans mad? Of course not….The grass on the other side always look greener from here.
Alamak, all those janji yang tidak ditepati, we must have overlooked these small things. vote for BN and give us another 5 years to fulfill these promises…..please please give us the opportunity to fulfill these promises….

Ask Singaporeans are they better off now than they were four years ago, eight years ago, or 30 years ago, the majority will say yes to some of these questions. Ask Malaysians the same questions, the majority, other than UMNOputras, will say no to all the above.
One can walk safely on the streets of Singapore without having to worry about snatch thieves. The hawker food that you get in Singapore are still of the same quality and quantity like it was years ago. But in Malaysia, only the names remain and one sees a lot of noodles to fill the stomach but only a sample of went with it years ago. People depending on hawker food will eventually suffer from malnutrition. Trouble is private transport is needed to earn a living and after supporting private transport, most workers have to rely on hawker food to survive. Singaporeans do not have to depend on private transport to move around or to earn a living. Yes Mamakthir’s Proton is a curse, and the curse has been elevated to national pride to be preserved.
If there were no Albar Jaffar, the father of the former Home Minister, to start riots in Singapore in 1964 during the procession there might not have been the experience to start May 13. Without Razak and Mamakthir, the two out of four PMs, Malaysia will not be in the shit pot it is in today.
Should any Sabahan leader to be blamed. It should rest on the two Kitinggan brothers, they had the all the opportunities to preserve the interests of the people of sabah but they themselves joined the gravy train for their own vested interest. With such an influx of population increase, what is the real change of the indigenous Sabahs to avoid the repeat of BN re-election? Unless all Sabahans realize this, you gonna be taken over by the Bangladeshi, Pakistanis, Indonesians and Filipinos and really be eternal followers in the state.
Somehow Singaporeans I asked were not happy. S’pore has low crime rate, supposedly good education system (pressure cooker) & of course good public transportation.(Cost per private car is exorbitant). Hawkers food (in Batok housing estate, Tiong Bharu still affordable (good value for money) – & hygienic. But other basics eg costs of housing, rental, medical, cars, food in better restaurants? At the moment, 31 per cent of women and 44 per cent of men are opting out of marriage and not leaving a next generation. (Why they are like that if life were not hard?) For S’poreeans its aging population. They’re replaced by immigrants and workers from nearby China, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Indonesia, expatriates from US & Europe (competing for jobs health care transportation housing etc) and the super rich with monies to deposit/invest to get PR (and support the Sing Dollar which in turn attract some more of the rich (many of whom are even corrupt taking money out of their own country) to bring into S’pore as safe haven for their currencies. With FD interest lower then 1% per annum they dump their monies into properties (never mind no yield/rental) as long as they think they will appreciate further by wave after wave of those coming after, bringing in money in search for safe haven, throw their money into properties, to maintain the self feeding cycle. [Except for those born rich or or high level executives, lucky to get high paying jobs (from multinationals) what about the average? Their aging parents are Ok cos their properties have gone up in price/there’s also CPF but they younger set are leveraging on credit cards to maintain lifestyle of 1st world. Banks lend on credit for cards and properties. Much of bank monies are absorbed by Temasik which pays 2% pa to banks for their monies and churn the deals. Local fund, wealth managers, investment advisors and financial consultants can’t get many deals from within S’pore and have to look outside to source for funds. I sense its really tough there and only fittest amongst the fittest prosper.
///At the moment, 31 per cent of women and 44 per cent of men are opting out of marriage and not leaving a next generation. (Why they are like that if life were not hard?)///–Jeffrey
That is an interesting observation. There can be many reasons why one does not choose to have a next generation. The responsibility to look after the next generation which could be a life time ‘burden’–whether the children can compete with others, in the world. In an agrarian society, people produce the next generation hoping that after a decade, the children can share the burdens. Now, producing a next generation to depend on for old age may not be an automatic choice, when there are pension to draw on, and the government can be relied on to bury them. Priests and nuns do not produce a next generation for reasons not connected to hardship, and ordinary people might simply share their choice.
The problems Singaporeans face now are a matter of fate; they are citizens of a red dot. The red dot would have been swallowed up by its neighbors had the government been corrupt like Malaysia. It should be easy for Malay Singaporeans to migrate to Malaysia, though it would be difficult for Chinese Singaporeans to do so. Are there many Malay Singaporeans who choose to take advantage of the preferential treatment in Malaysia? They should have all left if Malaysia government has been a real government rather than a secret society-like organization. Chinese Singaporeans can easily take up Malaysia as a second home programme, just like people in other metropolitan cities who choose to sell the properties and move out, to the rural town on retirement. Foreign monies should help Singaporeans to cash out their properties and live a cheaper existence. But they would rather go elsewhere.
If there was no accident on 6/6/1976 in Sabah, and that Sabah seceded, Sabah could be a model state, joining Singapore.
The real issue is without natural resources Singapore government has made Singapore a city of the world. With natural resources and corrupt government, Malaysia is in deep shit, economically and socially.
First of all no comment expressed here intends to compare and argue that Malaysia is a better place now or in the future than S’pore. Its just to underscore the risks of gamourising life is great there. Indeed its hazardous to compare. S’pore is probably unique. A referenced CIA World Factbook (if it can be believed) suggests the total fertility rate of Singapore is 0.78, the LOWEST of the 222 countries listed. Now when country develops a lot of factors why people don’t marry (in traditional sense) or if they do, divorce – personal autonomy (esp women), disillusionment with traditional premises of sanctioned marital relationship etc. It does not explain why total fertility rate is (say) 1.74 in Denmark and 1.67 in Sweden – more favourable than S’pore. In red dot a more plausible explanation – life is not good/too stressful to raise family, and many reasons that locals there can explain better – competitive, long hrs, dog eat dog, escalating high prices of basics (housing/medical) and relative inferiority if any of social security welfare net for the ordinary/average. The ordinary/average are better selling their properties (including inherited) and take the strong Sing$ to Perth, maybe for Malay S’poreans buy properties in Iskandar & commute daily via 2nd link. Per the link by Bunch of Suckers above: if the small island is importing non stop and increasingly taking in the super rich from world over (& by reason Sing$ becomes main attracting point and leverage) where do ordinary S’poreans stand (looking a head a decade or two)??? They are being replaced. S’pore will be to Asia like like Monaco to Europe a playground for the rich & famous, with taxis being BMWs, Mercedes 300+ and average/ordinary displaced.
There’s a difference between becoming rich due to locals’ productivity in value added ladder (which is difficult when the island is lacking resources for even its human capital) and becoming rich due to the rich all over the world be welcomed to park their monies in the so called financial centre there, where one becomes rich becos of the ever rising Sing’$. How long can this be sustained? Anyway sorry for digressing. I think amongst regular visitors here probably the WrathofGrapes is closer to throw light on predicament there.
