I refer to the horrific murders of Malaysia ‘s cosmetic queen, Sosilawati Lawiya and three of her colleagues in a not so remote farm outside Banting.
These murders could have been avoided if our police force had been more professional. Clearly the police took a tidak apa attitude or were ‘in it’ in all previous deaths/disappearances. The number of ‘missing persons’ reports all linked to these lawyers emerging all of a sudden out of the blue is testimony to this.
Do you know where this lawyer’s office? Its right across the police station’s reception counter, hardly 50 meters away. And do you know where he stays? In Taman Cempaka, also right across the police station. That their ‘farm’ at Taman Endah was conveniently located only a stone throw’s away from the Hindu disposition site for the cremated ashes of the dead could explain why some of the dead have disappeared without a trace. How very convenient. Kill the victims, cremate them and throw the ashes together with the rest of the Hindu dead at Morib’s established beach site location. A slick morbid operation indeed, if everything is proven true.
It is inconceivable that the police were oblivious to all their wrongdoings, especially since we now have at least two complainants coming forward, a wife of a Chennai businessman who disappeared after meeting the lawyers a year ago, and a local mechanic who had his wife slashed to death at Taman Cempaka itself with the mechanic himself ending up in the lock-up instead of both the lawyers being thrown in the slammer after a financial deal had gone wrong. This scenario looks more like a 1 Corrupted Malaysia Boleh story.
Banting police first came into notoriety when they were part of a local casino outfit in February 2004 at a house-cum-casino in Taman Emas resulting in almost the entire police force there being transferred out, some to places as far as Sarawak and Limbang after wives of the ‘casino’s’ male clients went public. And today, the Banting police station and the quarters are immense for only one reason. The Banting area is notorious for past and present criminals and massive smuggling of goods and human beings because of its long coastline and shallow waters which make it ideal as a landing spot for smugglers and illegal immigrants.
The police have their hands full, yes. Apart from this, Banting was used previously as a location spot for criminals to be buang negeri, essentially restricted movements to only the locality of Banting. Banting further gained notoriety when a young Chinese Datuk, a well-known smuggler and ah long was shot dead at the Sakura restaurant in Jalan Imbi, KL by hitmen. The two crooked lawyers may have taken advantage of the chaotic situation to buy off certain police officers.
And on Raya day, Malaysia was presented with a rude shock. Sosilawati and 3 innocent people were brutally murdered apparently during the Ramadan. If the police had been even half as efficient before, these animals would have been sent to the gallows earlier. Even Botak Chin is beginning to look like an angel compared to these lawyers.
As the daily shocking revelations take place pertaining to these murders, one thing that bothers many people here is – who were the other farmhands who had the courage to slaughter the victims and cremate them. Were these farmhands foreigners courtesy of Ng Yen Yen’s VOA (Visa on Arrival) programme to artificially boost tourist numbers? As it is well-known now, many Indian ‘tourists’ who acquired VOAs have now disappeared into Malaysian territory.
I do hope some of these fellows were not involved in these murders, for if they were, Ng Yen Yen surely has a lot to answer for compromising national security in exchange for increased tourist numbers.
The British Raj utilised 100,000 British Officers to maintain law and order in an India comprising of 350 million people. Malaysia with 100,000 police officers should be able to maintain order in a nation of only 28 million people if they focus on their jobs assuming immigration officers play their part as well. Our police should not be side-tracked to be used in policing political party gatherings and ferrying VIPs.
As for criminals such as ah long, smugglers and now even lawyers – there is only one way to reduce criminal intentions – an education system that inculcates proper values and an economy that thrives. That essentially is the government’s duty. And the longer they tinker around trying to right our atrocious education system, the more criminals Malaysia will have because, judging from reports, our own schools appear to be the breeding grounds for future gangsters, criminals, murderers and killer lawyers.
With these murders, Malaysia ‘s international image is in tatters. Investors are already branding this country as unsafe. The new IGP, unlike his predecessor, should not let the police force be pushed around by political parties but instead mould them into a professional outfit so that incidents of this nature do not ever happen in this country again.
Transfer to other states ALL the police in Banting and replace them with fresh officers who have being vetted and tested for their diligence and competence.
It is the entire system that is corrupt. You cannot have a corrupt police force if the government is clean. Neither will the police be corrupt if the Judiciary is clean. Or if the MACC is clean.
Every single institution is corrupt. They lean on one another. They protect and defend one another.
The police have become a law unto themselves that you just have to shout at one of them and you will be charged for abusing an officer or hampering him the course of carrying out his duties.
But a cop can abuse you or call you names and he is protected.
Just imagine the amount of man power and resources wasted on going after Opposition politicians.
Our police is an UMNO outfit.
In the final analysis it is the people who allowed this to happen as they kept voting in a corrupt regime again and again for 53 damn years.
30 years of a police state, and such things can still happen. 30 years of Ketuanan and we still don’t have an Alex Cross.
”Hao jiang wu ruo bin” ( a good and capable General will produce good soldiers ) One good example is ex-IGP Musa Hassan.
”Sang liang pu ze sia liang wai” ( when the upper measurement is not straight, the lower measurement will be crooked ) One good example is corrupt UMNO leaders.
It’s d wild, wild west of a failed state/nation
Not 2 worry, Ng Yen Yen will go 2 India 2 promote Banting as d hot tourist spot 2 visit
She will also get Bollywood 2 make a movie “I Know What You Brothers Did Last Few Summers” in Banting
…..with PDRM, it is simply, “incompetent and corrupt” , only cintaNEGARA thinks otherwise!
100% corruptions. 100% incompetence. 100% tidak apa attitude. Pdrm= polis diraja ringgit Malaysia.
I don’t agree to #1 above.
Simply ‘sending’ them to ‘other states’ will not do any good at all. It will only likely make the other states face similar / worst problems in future.
They should be investigated. If any proofs of any wrong doings are found, just prosecute them. The only problem is, who will be task to do the investigation with out fear or favour?
I really love the “Black Knight” tv sequel shown to us not too long ago. I just hope we do not need that type of character(s) in our beloved country to try to fix the problems we are facing.
Of course, one of the solutions is to have a different team to take charge of putrajaya after GE13.
Wake up Sabah and Sarawak, change we must !!
Well, this is the only place in the world where you can be promoted to PIG just for carrying mattress.
…and this is the only place in the world where you can buy titles for a song … you can even bestowed titles to yourself.
… world biggest producer of unemployable graduates
…. majority are handicapped

Let’s face some unpleasant truths.
The police, lawyers, crooks and judges move in the same circle of crime and punishment.
In the process, some of those with criminal intent make use of these contacts.
Remember the Lingam tapes scandal implicated a top judge and a top lawyer and the PDRM firmly resisted the IPCMC and the government meekly capitulated to their demands.
My point is that the web of corruption runs deep and wide and the BN cannot undo the Gordian knot.
They are so much ganged-up with Police, Bar, Judges, KUP/AG and even PCB and “water-proof”!!
The lawyer in Penang assaulting clients was notorious for more than 30 years!! He is 5 minutes walk from Beach Street station. He took clients money without doing jobs or even file no change of solicitor with court. Even clients had done for him a draft with supported summaries, facts and issues and legal understanding, etc.. he just fool around meeting clients only alternative Saturday (with freedom to be absent) but asking info which was already in the summaries!! He gave a 1-2page drafts which is repeating or messing up points. His statement of claim was without the proper parties or unrelated and without causes or violations but claims of millions!!
He never attended court for 2 years. After 15-16 reminders and he purported document were ready when he was confronted by clients at his office entrance guarded by cctv. However, he elbowed to stop clients from entering his office. He showed his clients copy of the document in a distance but refused to provide a copy. He called up Police to chase away clients. The documents later on delivered was useless!! He returned copy of draft prepared by his clients as copy of his jobs saying additional claims was added but in nowhere!!
After signing the 18th reminder, he chased the clients out by calling them Trespassers. He struck one of the clients by the head causing bleeding and another one pushed to fall down the staircase. He slap the client face and head, bumped and kicked the client when the client was helped to stand-up by another clients. Call to the police did not caused any Police to come to the site or after reported at Beach Street Police Station where the bleeding client got his medication. Both clients were asked to report to Pentai Police Station and thereafter go to the hospital. One of the client has to stay in the hospital for observation!!
Police. KUP Penang, AG gaves all kinds of merry-go-round and later on silent. PCB did not even dare to confirm the receipt of copy of the Police reports, ranging from Directors, the assistances and officers of PCB!! Police can only confirmed that they had taken the statement from the lawyer’s wife (who is also a lawyer at the office) but cannot find his son for statement. No news on the dozen of witness during the incidents including daughter, staffs, other clients, neighbours with photos taken by clients and the CCTV!! And, did not seek the “weapon” that caused the bleeding!!
Bar did not feed-back on the complaints!!
It was told this guy can even transfer Judges!!
Complaint to one of the DAP Assemblyman, officer of the Penang Government, was also silent!!
WHO CARES?? Or, WHO DARE TO CARE!!
Years ago, lee kuan yew called johore bahru a cowboy town. And boy umno was furious. But guess who is laughing now?
And bbc had a programme not too long ago saying that corruption will fight back if you fight it.
So are we surprised by what is going on. The only way ahead clearly must be to kick umno out. Be warned. It will take pakatan some time to overcome the deep seated and highly legalised and institutionalised corruption in the country.

This is serious and in a Pakatan State…
PR do something….
But having said that ….Banting also ina PR sate…maybe a special but very effective complainst bureau is necessary….otherwise even if PR takes over Federal Government, same problems will stay…

Thanks for your voice!!
The case was in April 2008. It is more than 2 years after DAP took over Penang. If PR cannot even act on a complaint on serious matter in PR state, what can PR base on to ask for any vote in the future?
LGE can be furious on challenged by his Federal Officers, but cannot throw complaint to the Federal for serious case concerning the security and proper order in “his” state, can he asked People to back him up for his fight against the Federal?
A sound Financial management in Penang, if appreciated, can easily be countered with bad credit, when they turn a deaf ear to Complaints of the public, especially on the most-concerned Security.
Same with complaint to Ronnie Liu in Selangor on a serious Land and Housing matter in Subang. He did not confirm the receipt of the complaint and give a feedback. Even such complaint was on response to the call of the Selangor MB!!
Same with complaint to SJ assembly-lady!!
We know UMNO is Real bad. But, we know by now PR is Deaf!!
Congratulations to the Police over the Banting murder-cases. I hope you can make it stick, if those guys are really the ones who murdered our unfortunate brothers and sisters. May all the deceased rest in peace.
Protect the whistle blowers in the case – if they are not too culpable, that is!
