Samy Vellu and Palanivel have completely lost face in the Hulu Selangor Barisan Nasional candidature farce while Umno hegemony in BN has reached new apex

MIC President Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu and his deputy Datuk G. Palanivel have completely lost face in the Hulu Selangor by-election Barisan Nasional candidature farce while Umno hegemony in Barisan Nasional has reached new apex.

This is the most shameful and humiliating episode in the history of MIC, one of the oldest political parties in Malaysia, which was founded as far back as August 1946.

In the 64-year history of MIC, was there a single time that the MIC could not decide and determine who should be its parliamentary or state assembly candidate – that its choice could be blocked and vetoed by other political parties including UMNO.

If this had never happened before, why is it happening in the long 31-year reign of Samy Vellu as MIC President?

This is most ironic. The UMNO and BN leadership continue to the blind and deaf to the message of the March 8 political tsunami of the 2008 general elections two years ago – which is a massive national vote against Umno political hegemony both in Barisan Nasional and in Malaysian politics.

Ironically, the Palanivel-Kamalanathan candidature farce has seen Umno’s hegemonic grip in Barisan Nasional reaching new dimensions, as all the other Barisan Nasional component parties, whether MIC, MCA, Gerakan or the Sabah and Sarawak component parties have never been so weak and emasculated in their history as compared to Umno’s over-reaching hegemony in the BN coalition.

Now, Umno is not only usurping the right of individual BN component parties to determine who should be their candidates, but also taking over their right to determine the leaderships in the other BN component parties.

In eliminating Palanivel as a candidate in the Hulu Selangor parliamentary by-election, the Umno leadership has virtually delivered a death knell to the political future of Samy’s heir-designate in MIC.

No wonder Palanivel was not present at the Barisan Nasional function in Ulu Selangor yesterday to announce the BN candidate.

No wonder Samy Vellu quickly announced that he would not seek re-election when his term of office as MIC President ends in 2012, when he had earlier promised to hand over the MIC Presidency to Palanivel before the expiry of his term.

The writing on the wall is clear – Palanivel has been eliminated not only as the BN candidate for Hulu Selangor, he has been eliminated as the successor to Samy Vellu as MIC President.

Will Palanivel drown his sorrows and setbacks with the consolation of a Senatorship with vague but clearly not-intended-to-be-fulfilled lure of a deputy ministership in exchange for his exit from the political scene?

UMNO Youth leader Khairy Jamaluddin told Sin Chew that the selection of the Hulu Selangor by-election candidate must be decided collectively by the Barisan Nasional and not alone by Umno or MIC.

Is Khairy joking or taking Malaysians for four-year-old children?

The Barisan Nasional is a coalition of 14 political parties. Is Khairy seriously suggesting that apart from Umno objecting to Palanivel’s candidature, there were other BN component parties who objected? MCA? Gerakan? Can Khairy name them?

Can Khairy name a single instance since the formation of BN in 1973 that Umno had acted as such a “big bully” as to interfere in the selection of candidature of a BN component party by arrogating to itself the power of veto to the “one and only” candidate proposal of the BN component party?

Would Khairy agree to submit the decision-making of candidature for BN parliamentary or state assembly seats to majority decision of the Barisan Nasional parties in the BN Supreme Council – to the extent that the other BN component parties can decide by majority vote who should be the Umno President, Deputy President and UMNO Youth leader?

Khairy is just adding salt into the wounds of the MIC leaders and members, divisions and branches.

  1. to me, the nomination of P kamalanathan is a wise move by PM, a rational one because many reports are against palanivel.

BN cannot take the risk to nominate someone that they know will be of no good to the people especially when the locals have expressed their dissatisfaction against palanivel.

BN knows that Hulu Selangor is dominated by Malays and understood clearly that a Malay candidate will upped their chance in winning the by-election. Again, MIC is chosen as a show of respect because they had been in power for 12 years. This is not based on UMNO’s best interest alone, it is the party’s.

  2. Lost face?! Huh, apa itu? Skin so thick, well grilled over d years, no problemo 1
In fact, now better, 1 as candidate, another 1 gets into senate n appointed a post, aiyooo yooh, forever grateful 2 Umno 4 always so generous 2 MIC 1

  3. To the Malays, the candidate is known as Kamal. To the non-Malays, the candidate is known as Nathan.

Such is UMNO’s trickery…..trying to cheat the kampung folks with their choice of candidate. Then there is the issue of the trickery of 1Malaysia concept. Then the trickery of anti-Jewish stance vs the payment of RM77 million to a consulting group with Jewish links. Semuanya Boleh !

  4. YB

Samy Velu and many of his MIC sycophants/cohorts suffer from a fairly common disease among M’sian politicians – pachyderma cutis or elephant thickskinitis!!

So, self respect, honour, integrity, pride, loyalty etc., mean nothing to them. It is all about MONEY and then POWER.

As for Palanivel, if he has any common sense, he will pull out from MIC and join Pakatan with his supporters where at least they will have representation. Right now, MIC is a lap dog to UMNO!

    dpp
we are all of 1 race, the Human Race

  5. MIC, MCA and Gerakan fast becoming obsolete parties. Big fish eat small fish. Maybe no choice but to emulate mamakteh and become faked Malay, then join UMNO, and live happily ever after, plus having a chance to become PM. How nice?

  6. RM77 million is more than enough to award RM100 each to all Malaysian senior citizens in recognition of their role in developing the country. Even though the amount is small, it is the thought that counts. And it is much better than the suckers paying taxpayers’ money to Jewish lobbyists so that the PM is allowed to meet Ohmama!

  7. Regardless of who is chosen as the bN candidate, PR must campaign hard to ensure victory for Zaid, or else Jib is going to get his cherished 2/3 majority in Parliament (with the help of the “Independent” frogs)

  8. Samy Vellu if he still has any dignity left, should take the MIC out of BN. Samy’s choice was rejected. It re-affirmed that he is of no use to UMNO.I think Samy must say some thing to the contrary. Samy should be awared how DPM and Umno’s officials reacted to KTK’s inter-faith committee and turned thing around. Can Vellu turn thing around ?

  9. Humiliation is one thing but the more important thing is the shift in leverage. IF BN wins, UMNO view it as a delivery of paid good. Meaning MIC is in no position to demand anything more. What can MIC deliver to the voters given their leaders are already on the hooked with UMNO? Would you lend more money to someone who is already in debt? Every promise MIC make to the voters of Hulu Selangor is cast in doubt. Worst everything that MIC give to the voter during this election, put their promise in the future EVEN more in doubt.

    Why would anyone trust them?

Najib and Muhiyiddin has to deliver Hulu Selangor, not MIC because they will fail on their own. If they don’t come out strongly and make the promises themselves and deliver themselves, then MIC is as good as finished. Voters then will ask why reward MIC if all the work is done by UMNO?

Regardless, MIC is done within BN. Its the end of the road for them..

  10. Gee. Very soon all heads of BN component parties will enter government through the back door and become “Ministers”. This sodomy thing is just getting too far. This is not our culture but BN is making this “back door” thing part of our “tradition”.

What then will be the purpose of elections?

  11. The purpose of elections is to make a show of democracy being practised here, so that the PM can continue to go and meet Obama for photo-sessions. Otherwise bolehland will be included into the Axis of Evil together with North Korea and Iran.

  12. “Samy Vellu and Palanivel have completely lost face in the Hulu Selangor Barisan Nasional candidature farce while Umno hegemony in BN has reached new apex.”

Samy Vellu has many faces, so what’s the big fuzz about losing one face?

  13. “In the 64-year history of MIC, was there a single time that the MIC could not decide and determine who should be its parliamentary or state assembly candidate – that its choice could be blocked and vetoed by other political parties including UMNO.”

Well, things have never been the same again for UMNO ever since Abdullah Ahmad Badawi became Prime Minister. The rot actually began immediately after the 2004 general election when UMNO became too arrogant, and not after the 2008 general election.

UMNO was always playing the attacking game but now, they have to play defensive. Is it any wonder then that UMNO is feeling so jittery that it has to decide which MIC candidate to nominate? It’s obvious that they do not have the confidence that Samy Vellu can field a winning candidate!

  14. Is Khairy joking or taking Malaysians for four-year-old children?

If you are thirty something with foot in mouth disease but in national politics because of your father in law please refrain from making stupid statements.

  15. OneMalaysia as it turned out is one piece of sh!t. It is a piece of re-cycled sh!t. One Israel. One Singapore. And now One Malaysia. Doesnt matter if it was re-cycled, but that we actually have to pay millions and millions for this piece of re-cycled sh!t is really and absolutely unacceptable. No wonder muhideen declares himself malay first and malaysian second in plain rejection of the one malaysia principle.

  16. Mooooo is d smart 1; u want 2 b M’sian first, go ahead, Mooo wants 2 b Malay first, cos Malays get 2 enjoy all d goodies (discounts, APs, preferential shares, ASN, contracts, etc), NOT Malaysians, stupid!

  17. These two MIC old farts have kerbau hide…the only person capable of letting these two for a run of their money is obviously, the one and only Hanjin,
    Eunuch chengho.

YB Lim, I did’nt any face, just saw two sets of teeth!!

  18. Malaysian insider has a piece that says that the whole thing is designed to rid Samy Vellu, renew MIC and create a more united BN going in GE 13. The reasoning is pretty good except it leaves something out. If Zaid win big, it will show that PR is for real and gaining momentum. Which means that everyone in BN knows that the prize to be divided up in the future is going to be much smaller. The new younger face may not be able to hold all the ambitions of the many people hungry to take one more bite of a rotting declining apple. The fight may break out regardless, it may not have many high level people in it but it will happen at the mid and lower level..

Net. I say BN is not better off and it still only gets worst the longer GE 13 is delayed.

  19. Samy the nobody now.
    Pananivel…no face ..run away.
Khairy the fanner with no one really cares.
Naijb….the juggler…no more BN leader. Namesake only.
    Comedy players lousy show.

  20. Sorry. A little diversion. Could not resist this. Copied from MT site and pasted here. Thanks RPK.

A potentially explosive scandal in Malaysia over the billion-dollar purchase of French submarines, a deal engineered by then-Defense Minister Najib Tun Razak, has broken out of the domestic arena with the filing of a request to investigate bribery and kickbacks from the deal in a Paris court.

Although the case has been contained for eight years in the cozy confines of Malaysia’s courts and parliament, which are dominated by the ruling National Coalition, French lawyers William Bourdon, Renaud Semerdjian and Joseph Breham put an end to that when they filed it with Parisian prosecutors on behalf of the Malaysian human rights organization Suaram, which supports good-government causes.

Judges in the Paris Prosecution Office have been probing a wide range of corruption charges involving similar submarine sales and the possibility of bribery and kickbacks to top officials in France, Pakistan and other countries. The Malaysian piece of the puzzle was added in two filings, on Dec. 4, 2009 and Feb. 23 this year.

For two years, Parisian prosecutors, led by investigating judges Francoise Besset Francoise Besset and Jean-Christophe Hullin, have been gingerly investigating allegations involving senior French political figures and the sales of submarines and other weaponry to governments all over the world. French news reports have said the prosecutors have backed away from some of the most serious charges out of concern for the political fallout.

The allegations relate to one of France’s biggest defense conglomerates, the state-owned shipbuilder DCN, which merged with the French electronics company Thales in 2005 to become a dominant force in the European defense industry. DCN’s subsidiary Armaris is the manufacturer of Scorpene-class diesel submarines sold to India, Pakistan and Malaysia among other countries. All of the contracts, according to the lawyers acting for Suaram, a Malaysian human rights NGO, are said to be suspect.

With Najib having moved on from the defense portfolio he held when the deal was put together in 2002 to become prime minister and head of the country’s largest political party, the mess has the potential to become a major liability for the government and the United Malays National Organisation. Given the power of UMNO, it is unlikely the scandal would ever get a complete airing in a Malaysian court, which is presumably why Suaram reached out to French prosecutors.

“The filings are very recent and have so far prompted a preliminary police inquiry on the financial aspects of the deal,” said Philippe Vasset, the editor in chief of a Paris-based military intelligence website. “There isn’t a formal investigation yet. The investigation will most likely use documents seized at DCN in the course of another investigation, focusing on bribes paid by DCN in Pakistan.”

Vasset said police have confined their inquiry to bribery allegations so far and have not looked into the 2006 murder of a Mongolian woman in Malaysia who was a translator on the deal for Najib and his friend, Abdul Razak Baginda, during a visit to Paris.

There have been numerous deaths involving DCN defense sales in Taiwan and Pakistan. Prosecutors are suspicious that 11 French submarine engineers who were murdered in a 2002 bomb blast in Karachi – first thought to have been the work of Al Qaeda – were actually killed in retaliation for the fact that the French had reneged on millions of dollars in kickbacks to Pakistani military officers.

The Malaysian allegations revolve around the payment of €114 million to a Malaysia-based company called Perimekar, for support services surrounding the sale of the submarines. Perimekar was wholly owned by another company, KS Ombak Laut Sdn Bhd, which in turn was controlled by Najib’s best friend, Razak Baginda, whose wife Mazalinda, a lawyer and former magistrate, was the principal shareholder, according to the French lawyers.

“Over the past years, serious cases have been investigated in France by judges involving DCN,” lawyer Renaud Semerdjian told Asia Sentinel in a telephone interview. “This is not the first case of this kind that is being investigated. There are others in Pakistan and there are some issues about India. To a certain extent, every time weapons of any kind have been provided, suspicion of violation of the law may be very high.”

As defense minister from 2000 to 2008, Najib commissioned a huge military buildup to upgrade Malaysia’s armed forces, including two submarines from Armaris and the lease of a third, a retired French Navy Agosta-class boat. There were also Sukhoi supersonic fighter jets from Russia and millions of dollars spent on coastal patrol boats. All have come under suspicion by opposition leaders in Malaysia’s parliament but UMNO has stifled any investigation. Asked personally about the cases, Najib has responded angrily and refused to reply.

Despite efforts to bury it, the case achieved considerably notoriety after the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu, a 28-year-old Mongolian translator and Razak Baginda’s jilted lover, who participated in negotiations over the purchase of the submarines. By her own admission in a letter found after her death, she was attempting to blackmail Razak Baginda for US$500,000.

She was shot in October 2006 and her body was blown up with military explosives by two bodyguards attached to Najib’s office after Razak Baginda, went to Najib’s chief of staff, Musa Safri, for help in keeping her away from him. Not long after being acquitted in November 2008 under questionable circumstances of participating in her murder, Razak Baginda left the country for England. The bodyguards were convicted but no motive was ever established for their actions.

The submarine deal was never brought up in court during a months-long murder trial that was marked by prosecutors, defense attorneys and the judge working studiously to keep Najib’s name out of the proceedings. A private detective hired by Razak Baginda to protect him from the furious Altantuya filed a statutory declaration after the trial indicating that Najib had actually been the victim’s lover and had passed her on to Razak Baginda.

The detective, P. Balasubramaniam, said later that he was unceremoniously run out of Kuala Lumpur. He eventually emerged from hiding in India to say he had been offered RM5 million (US$1.57 million) by a businessman close to Najib’s wife to shut up and get out of town. He also said he had met Nazim Razak, Najib’s younger brother, and was told to recant his testimony.

In the current complaint in Paris, the issue revolves around what, if anything, Razak Baginda’s Perimekar company did to deserve €114 million. Zainal Abidin, the deputy defense minister at the time of the sale, told parliament that Perimekar had received the amount – 11 percent of the sale price of the submarines – for “coordination and support services.” The Paris filing alleges that there were neither support nor services.

Perimekar was registered in 2001, a few months before the signing of the contracts for the sale, the Paris complaint states. The company, it said flatly, “did not have the financial resources to complete the contract.” A review of the accounts in 2001 and 2002, the complaint said, “makes it an obvious fact that this corporation had absolutely no capacity, or legal means or financial ability and/or expertise to support such a contract.”

“None of the directors and shareholders of Perimekar have the slightest experience in the construction, maintenance or submarine logistics,” the complaint adds. “Under the terms of the contract, €114 million were related to the different stages of construction of the submarines.” The apparent consideration, supposedly on the part of Perimekar, “would be per diem and Malaysian crews and accommodation costs during their training. There is therefore no link between billing steps and stages of completion of the consideration.”

As Asia Sentinel reported on April 1, services for the subs are being performed by a well-connected firm called Boustead DCNS, a joint venture between BHIC Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of publicly-listed Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd, and DCNS SA, a subsidiary of DCN. Boustead’s Heavy Industries Division now includes Perimekar as an “associate of the Group. PSB is involved in the marketing, upgrading, maintenance and related services for the Malaysian maritime defence industry,” according to Boustead’s annual report.

Originally Boustead told the Malaysian Stock Exchange that the service contract was for RM600 million (US$184.1 million) for six years, or US$30.68 million annually. However, the contract later ballooned to RM270 million per year. Boustead Holdings is partly owned by the government and has close connections with UMNO.

“There are good grounds to believe that [Perimekar] was created with a single objective: arrange payment of the commission and allocate the amount between different beneficiaries including Malaysian public officials and or Malaysian or foreign intermediaries,” the complaint states.

    Woooow.

  21. Remember Chengho was a eunuch in ancient china.

When an eunuch suggests something, a laughing gas bomb will explode.

You might as welll put all the eunuchs in BN to be controlled by UmnoUtusans

  22. That was Chengho’s classic most idiotic comment….that I chose to ignore.
Yes…cannot help laughing at that idiot and pity his parents for having such a son.
His comment needs to be framed up as his masterpiece….so far.

  23. Chengho enjoys new partners to do him one…day in day out..with different strokes…and naturally ..FOC to Najib…his sex lord…if he wants that smelly ass too.
After reading his comment….lost appetite to eat…so sick of his nonsense.
Anyway….I love a late supper tonight.

  24. Although Sam has enough money to last a life-time, but he cannot afford to offend UMNO. He has no choice but to retire and enjoy himself while he still can. His passport to wealth has expired and not renewable, unless he transforms himself into a mamak.

  25. chengho :
why don’t we change player like football , PKR take Samy and BN take deo ? for Palanivel BN give you free transfer .

A better suggestion is: , Barisan Nasional should make everybody in Barisan Nasional Happy…. Beside fielding Kamalanathan, they should field Palanivel, Mugilan and Mat Taib too…. So UMNO will be happy , MIC-Samy will be happy too….. If that is not enough, field Chua Soi Lek too…or ChengHo himself(whatever you are -whether Cina Palsu, Cina Celup or Cina “murtad”) …Let the best candidate win…..Even Barisan Nasional don’t win….they still win for having a majority’ in number of candidate fielded……and a record in “Malaysia Book of Records” for “most number of candidates fielded by a party/coalition in a by-election’

  26. Kamalnathan, another shameless and gutless socalled Indian leader who is so keen to show that he ready to be another lapdog of UMNO.

In his zeal to prove he is part of the UMNO family, he shamelessly derides Hindraf and what they stand for. To him Hindraf is a no issue. He still claims that the Indians would vote for MIC because UMNO has anointed him though he is another irrelevant mandore who sings praises UMNO for marginalising the Indians.

Indians are not only marginalised from the mainstream of job opportunities, placement in institutes of higher learning but have also become displaced to the extent of being called beggars.

Kamalnathan is another sucker who is ready and prepared to deliver the destiny of the Indians to the UMNOputras to do as they please.

He is only interested in getting elected under the BN ticket so that he too can reap all the benefits and perks of an MP even if UMNO sodomises the Indians for another 50 years.

So long as there are suckers, leaches and parasites in MIC, the future of the Indians in this country is very bleak.

Since he claims that Indians do not care about Hindraf and what it stands for, I sincerely hope people like Uthayamoorthy and his HRP will take note.

They should go all out and show their real enemies are MIC who sold out the rights of the Indians and UMNO that systematically went about depriving the Indians of their rights as citizens of this country.

In the past UMNO leaders have called Indians as beruk. They have said that they can win elections without the Indian votes. Some have called Indians as beggars.

Now UMNO has the temerity to deny the candidate of MIC’s choice and dictate terms to the MIC leadership by nominating a born shameless sucker.

Indians and MIC should say we have had more than enough. They should go all out to vote for Pakatan Rakyat and show the UMNO warlords that the Indians are still a force to be reckoned with.

  27. The kera jantan for all his Oxford education still behaves like an oxymoron. He feels that as the Umno Youth leader he must say something even if his words sound like a big loud fart.

YB Lim you can bet your last ringgit that this guy whose meteoric rise in UMNO was because of his f-i-l would not be able to reveal the names of the other component party leaders who were not in favour of MIC’s candidate, namely Palanivel.

KJ is an opportunist. He would jump at a chance to be in the good books of UMNO warlords of the calibre of Mooheedin. He knows he can’t be close to Najib so long as the evil mamak is around.

Just to ensure his survival in UMNO he keeps singing the notes prepared by Mooheedin because in his perception the DPM is going to be the person who pulls the rug from under Najib.

  28. Dr Chua doin a good job in Hulu Selangor
Kit knew, Leg knew and of course Karpal knew that why they never turn up
tanjong8 busy courting Korean golfer to visit tanjong
monsterball too busy exercising his power, uncle monsterball if you are a senior golfer your driving power lost 20yards year by year

  29. If the report from one Mydin is true, then Samy has killed two birds with his one act! this Kama guy is supposed to be related to Samy!!
Well, we have to leave to the Indian Community to decide if they should carry on with their Sami!! I thought those MIC branch persons must have gone to Bollywood for their acting lesson! Yes, we will all quit!! No wonder, Sami could take them for a ride from Timbuktu to the North Pole! Not just once, but every Christmas!!!
Ane some members of the community keep harping on fellow representation! for what??

  30. Uncle kit I beg to be differ!, MIC ‘lost’ in Hulu Selangor prior nomination, but Samy and Palanivel both win prior nomination. Losing face is non-issue to Samy, he has many faces anyhow. Only the Malay first and Malaysian Second guy is so stupid, he is no class close to Samy. The burden of winning is not with MIC nor Samy now, but shouldered by the Malay first and Malaysian Second guy. Palanivel got his senatorship, MIC maybe get a timbalan menteri, and if MIC lost, then “it is b’coz my advice is taken lightly!”. Maybe MIC will be campaigning for PKR, just to teach a lesson of arrogant and hegemony to the extreme.

  31. By making Sammy Velu & his successor lose face, UMNO has miscalculated badly. They are further weakening an already weak MIC. The Chinese and Indian voters who supported this communal power sharing ideology of the BN will now have more doubts as to its viability in Malaysia’s present day politics.

Surely the move towards non-communal politics will gain momentum. The focus of our awareness that we are one nation will shape the reality of Middle Malaysia!

  32. When chengho keep calling my name..it means his backside extremely itchy.
That’s dangerous for me to respond.
His third stage cancer of the backside…no cure..needs grilling and servicing and focusing on me…with the present unpredictable hot weather…backside sweating…Najib not available…you figure out how terribly itchy he is right now.
On golf…I love watching the game and know the rules well…but I have never played golf in my life.
I like to knock knock knock pins down…imaging one is chengho..knocking it down and feeling happy…..or put him in one of the four side pockets..with my joystick…see him no more…also feeling happy.

  33. Old and weaker I maybe as age catches on…but if chengho is near me…I think I can still knock him out cold with one punch.
He not down..punch me back.I drop dead…he goes to jail…hahahahahaha
That is one of the blessings being old and have license to kill a mocking dog like chengho.
Yip..supper did me good last night.
Lets hope he does not spoil my lovely weekend with his nonsense.

  34. I here repeat again, MIC/MCA/GERAKAN are no more relavant to the rakyat since 0308. They are just running dogs of UMNO.
That “semi value” guy and his deputy are both politically DEATH. However, the two are reknown for their hypocrisy esp their thick skins.

  35. It’s truly tragic dat educated camel willingly served semivalue rather than works 4 d ppl
Education is lost on him as he failed 2 c dat MIC, a puppet party under Umno, cannot serve d Indian community n M’sians
Yet camel is so proud 2 b a stooge candidate of Umno/BN in HS
He has eyes dat see not, brain dat thinks not
Just a passion 2 please his bosses in order 2 bcome a BN lapdog, shame, shame

  36. how can you say sorry when you are entrusted by your electorate to act on their behalf.

In bolihland the electorate votes and enthroned opportunist and clowns to Parliament and then hopes for the best.
Meaning these clowns expected to perform and act as what is expect from a MP.
What does actually an MP job…go ask around…some tell you , i am busineesman , i have to vote them there..and hope for the business lah
If he is in the inner circle he get his investment returns within first term.
these business people are cheapskate, alibabas…as if only people in parlimen do business.

    egg comes first or chicken…..hah.

  37. Lopez..I think most businessmen now realized things will get worst..if they keep supporting present government.
Events concerning religions tested…by mysterious forces…which all knows…who is behind all these.
Intelligent businessmen know our country is so rich…no need to suffer like those that do not have so much natural resources and the hundreds of billions earned can pull us through from any bad circumstances…yet we are suffering far more than our neighbors who were at one time….far far more behind Malaysia…and less richer.
Businessmen..know..UMNO is actually using their hard earned money…which they pay high taxes..and UMNO is using this same money …to fool around and buy their loyalties… making sure…businessmen make small profits but the tenders are grossly overpriced…instructed by them..or else…no deal.
The signs are so clear..that their children will be the ultimate sufferers.
It is a decision to sacrifice and be unselfish and start doing the right thing for the country and people…indirectly….for their families too.
I think majority businessmen are ready to change the government…with this attitudes….that..any PM will do….and why not change it now?
Like me..a small businessman…I never depended on carrying balls of the government for favors…even though I had so many golden opportunities.
I hate double standards…with me feeling as a second class citizen. What will become of my children and grand children?
