Will MACC investigate whether Muhyiddin abuse his powers in using RMAF Nuri heli for Umno purposes?

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz asked what is DAP afraid of, saying:

“Don’t be afraid of the preventive measures and investigations carried out by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) if you want corruption to be tackled more seriously.”

DAP is not afraid of MACC anti-corruption investigations but who is not afraid of going to MACC as a healthy person but come out as a corpse like Teoh Beng Hock?

This is not fighting corruption but setting up a Gestapo in Malaysia.

Dare Nazri, who boasted of his previous brush with the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA), say with all sincerity, truth and honesty that he would not be afraid of co-operating with MACC in any anti-corruption investigation in MACC premises if he is not confident that he would not be a victim of the MACC’s Gestapo tactics and would not end up as another Teoh Beng Hock as a corpse?

Nazri is right when he said that DAP want corruption to be eradicated and I stand by every word that I have said in Parliament and outside that there must be an all-out war against corruption.

But MACC in its past seven months had not launched any all-out war against corruption but an all-out war against the Pakatan Rakyat to be catspaw of Umno and Barisan Nasional in their larger political game-plan to wrest back power in the states lost to Pakatan Rakyat in the political tsunami of the March 8 general election last year, using all means whether fair or foul.

Can the MACC justify its action in the Teoh Beng Hock case over an impropriety in a RM2,400 constituency allocation when the commission had been completely indifferent and impotent with scandals which are 1,000 times bigger like the RM24 million “Istana” Khir Toyo scandal or even 50,000 times bigger like the RM12.5 billion Port Klang Free Zone scandal?

If MACC investigations into a RM24,000 allocation is to cause one life, are 1,000 lives going to be at stake in an investigation into a RM24 million scandal or 50,000 lives at risk over a RM12.5 billion investigation?

Furthermore, can MACC justify its role in the past seven months in colluding with Umno/BN conspiracy to topple the Pakatan Rakyat state governments in Perak and Selangor, succeeding in the former but not yet in the latter?

Is MACC prepared to submit itself to a Royal Commission of Inquiry as to whether it had violated its statutory powers and objectives in failing to declare an all-out war against corruption but instead had been hijacked to declare an all-out war against Pakatan Rakyat?

The MACC chiefs should realize that in declaring war against Pakatan Rakyat instead of declaring war against corruption, they are guilty of corruption in the very sense of the word!

Who is to scrutinize and expose such corruption by the MACC if not a Royal Commission of Inquiry?

Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was involved in an emergency forced landing of a RMAF Nuri helicopter in Tuaran due to bad weather when flying between Kudat and Penampang.

Malaysians are all relieved that Muhyiddin, the 14 other passengers and the crew were safe.

Muhyiddin’s press secretary Ainon Mohd, who was on the Nuri helicopter, said they were heading to the Kota Kinabalu International Airport from Kudat after Muhyiddin opened the Kudat Umno division meeting at about 1.45pm.

He was scheduled to open the Penampang Umno division meeting later in the day but following the incident, Muhyiddin had asked Chief Minister Musa Aman to open the Umno meeting in Penampang on his behalf.

Did Muhyiddin corruptly misused his powers as Deputy Prime Minister in using a RMAF Nuri for Umno purposes which has nothing to do with his official duties?

Will MACC haul in Muhyiddin for investigation and apply on him some of its Gestapo tactics?

Nazri and the MACC Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan, whose bias and malice has finally bubbled into the public with his uncalled for remark about the DAP “putting on an opera” and “DAP’s constant barrage of negative stories about the MACC”, should realize that the grave crisis of confidence in the independence, efficiency and professionalism of the MACC cannot be wished away by a battery of denials but must be addressed frontally or the duo will be doing the greatest disservice to the cause of integrity and the battle against corruption in Malaysia.

  1. Just as Ong KT was a frequent freeloader using Tiong’s jets, Moo Hee Din is also a freeloader of RMAF Nuris. By the way, does Freeloader Din know how many Nuris have crashed in the past few years?

Just as Ong KT was a frequent freeloader using Tiong’s jets, Moo Hee Din is also a freeloader of RMAF Nuris. By the way, does Freeloader Din know how many Nuris have crashed in the past few years?

I agree with SpeakUp when he said that you people always complain, complain, complain…. Moo Hee Din put his life on line by testing those Nuris personally when everyone knows that the Nuris are not safe and yet, you people still complain, complain, complain……

  3. With so many freeloaders in bolehland, one can just throw a stone and chances are high that it will land on a freeloader’s head. However, they will all be gone when PR wins the 13 GE.
    Then we can all sing:

Where have all the freeloaders gone?
    Long time passing
Where have all the freeloaders gone?
    Long time ago
Where have all the freeloaders gone?
Voters have dumped them every one
    When will they ever learn?
    When will they ever learn?

Ekompute … I nearly wanna cry la … hahahaha … you can put up some of the funniest nonsense when we least expect it. :0)

Anyways, I think this article is full of nonsense. UMNO is the government la, so they can use what they like for UMNO. Actually, the country belongs to UMNO, it belongs to UMNO Malays, PAS/PKR etc Malays are not entitled la. See how wrong LKS is now? Hahahahaaa …

  5. Brother Kit Siang, MACC has yet to receive instruction from the top lah. We are not very sure who will issue instruction to MACC to commence investigation into the misuse of helicopter? We will have to wait for Anwar to be a PM.

  6. “Can the MACC justify its action in the Teoh Beng Hock case over an impropriety in a RM2,400 constituency allocation…..” Kit

Be careful what you say, Kit. There was no impropriety over the RM2400. Councillor Tan Boon Hwa who supplied the flags has confirmed that the flags were delivered although MACC was torturing him to say they were not. There was no misuse of funds at all.

  7. this nazri is talking again and full of bulshitting. it was not a matter of of scare or not scare, but it was clear MACC has been wiling or acting under instruction to use hand handed to force for fictitious evidence to bring down PR in Selangor.

If only MACC Willing to take on Mr. Nades’s challenge on his voluminous documentation evidence on so many cases high light by him, only i will believe MACC has nothing to hide.

I could not understand why the Star Wong did not support the Nades call soon enough when NAdes first exposed PKFZ scandal only now he is writing his support in the Sunday Star on his support for a full scale investigation? Was it too late?

  8. When the PR takes over the federal government in the next GE, this kind of incident can be probed for abuse of government property.
So PR needs to stay focussed on that next important target instead of creating problems of their own making.

  9. MACC…..IGP…all working for UMNO.
    not for country and people.
What is UMNO?….a proven racialist party…to divide and rule.. …encouraging corruptions.
UMNO loves to rojak the country…confuse and apply minds control..to the people.
    End results…all not happy..not united….is right..so said Mahathir.
    Unity will end UMNO government.

  10. No doubt, RMAF Nuri Helicopter is a government asset. In DAP’s dictionary, Umno is not equal to the Government. Therefore Muhyiddin Yassin has no rights to use RMAF Nuri Helicopter for Umno purpose.

However, all Umnoputras, including the Chief Commissioner of MACC Ahmad Said, only read Umno’s dictionary. In Umno’s dictionary, it is clearly stated that Umno = Malaysian Government.

The only way to ban the use of Umno’s dictionary in the government departments is to overthrow the rule of Umno. Let’s wait and see whether Pakatan Rakyat is strong enough to overthrow Umno by the next general election!

  11. Why no action by MACC on the DPM? Confiscate his office files, pcs, etc as the helicopter trip may be just one of his many misdoings. MACC a pet dog of DPM?

On Nazri’s comment on ISA, his logics are like of a little silly boy.

  12. MACC looks like a little lamb which has already lost its way now. Yesterday MACC Chief Investigation Officer said that MACC would temporarily stop probing on all political-linked cases. Today MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner Abu Kassim said that MACC would not stop probing on any cases, including cases involved with politicians or political parties (reported by Nanyang Press).

We never heard of anything from MACC Chief Commissioner Ahmad Said Hamdan about MACC’s policy in respect of political-linked cases so far. What role does MACC Chief Commissioner really play with respect of MACC’s policy and Standard Operating Procedures? Why is MACC Chief Commissioner so slow in giving response to things happened with MACC investigators such as Teoh Beng Hock’s death case or DAP Political Aide cum town councilor Wong Chuan How’s injury during MACC’s extra-judicial arrest without a proper warrant of arrest?

  13. Moreyoudin had shown a ‘good’ example for us to follow.

Let’s follow him and treat government money as our own and use it.

This is the cardinal principle of 1 Malaysia.

    Well done More-you-din

  14. From Kudat to Kota Kinabalu using RMAF Nuri…hahaha abuse of power then who bothers? What about from KL to Kota Kinabalu? Wasn’t it by RMAF VIP jet? Bigger abused of power?
Even in the Manik Urai by election we saw the RMAF helicopters and VIP jets were flying up down almost everyday – so what happen? Nothing and the goons just couldn’t be bothered!!!
It was unfortunate that the weather was bad or otherwise Muhideen will smile all the way as no one will know what he was doing in Kudat.
Lucky you Muhiden that you survive as the crew of the helicopter are proficient professional but stop giving excuses that the Nuris are no good to justify a new buy to make money!!!
“Siakap senohong gelama ikan duri selalu cakap bohong silap hari makan diri.” That is the UMNO goons. Stay tune people and lawan tetap lawan.

  15. Hi you guys still don’t get it. All these Umno/Bn ministers especially the PM and DPM are behaving like they own this country, hence treating all the country or government facilities belong to them or their grandfathers. Get submarine for me,you get paid 500 million ringgit,go create a superfiuous PKFZ,you guys get paid several billion ringgit,MACC go kill that guy TBH,you guys can do all these,as this is my personal owned country and my money, nobody can question you as I am the BOSS. This is the scenario Umno/BN are behaving and no matter how many more questions or complaints, they still say, this is my grandfather’s private owned property and I have inherited it now,so just get lost,it’s none of you guys business. So you guys now see this’s the reality.

  16. Don’t trouble Ahmad Said lah, he is still deeply engrossed with the porno movies his pilot son
brought back from Australia. What a beautiful life, a cosy job paid by taxpayers. This is MACC, more
    concern with cows and cars!
Where MACC has the marbles to to take on UMNO DPM…they are from the same regime, “UNITED MURDERERS NATIONAL ORGANISATION!”

  17. Kit,

The title of your blog is incorrect. By MACC standard it should be:

Being the greatest suspect, will MACC ARREST Muhyiddin and investigate whether he has abused his powers in using RMAF Nuri heli for Umno purposes?

  18. No. No. Sometimes LKS is really too smart for most people. The implication is why is the Education Minister on a Military plane?

Traditionally, the DPM is also the home minister or minister of defense. Its been a very long long time this has not been. So when the DPM calls up, they don’t ask any question and just move..

Its really an example where UMNO really have blurred the lines between tradition and habits with sticking to the rules and procedures. They keep forgetting and don’t remember anymore. Its just more proof of the prodigal nature of UMNO now, the excesses in entitlement, they have just forgotten the basics..

  19. Nazri’s words of wisdom is neither reassuring to those who are being asked to report to the MACC office for questioning or those who want to see the eradication of corruption. This is because nothing worth mentioning has been done by the MACC to dispel the negative perception of the public. Thus far, a only lot of meaningless statements such as ‘our officers are professional in their investigation’, ‘the law allows for such an action’, etc. have been issued.

Concrete actions such as immediate implementation of interrogation procedure ala ICAC, suspension of officers involved and demonstration of responsibility by the highest officers in the form of resignation in the light of TBH’s death would do more to restore the public’s confidence on the issue of personal safely.

As for the eradicaton of corruption, the MACC could provide more meaningful feedbacks on the status of all cases reported. Terse statements such as ‘still under investigation’, ‘isufficient evidence’ etc. only serves to invite more skepticism from the public. An updated list containing details of all cases that has been reported and their status should be made available for public perusal. More importantly, valid reasons should be provided in writing should explanation be requested on why some cases are given priority over another.
