Michael Jackson died. Whole generations in shock. Agree or disagree, he touched lives worldwide. Rest in Peace.
Farah Fawcett, Charlie Angels fame another star who died same day.Her intrepid fight against cancer helped many to look into “heart of darkness”
Very sad moment in history to hear that the King of Pop is dead. No matter what controversy surrounded his personal life, no one can deny what an amazing dancer, singer, and performer he was. I am captivated with his style, moves, and his unforgettable songs. His music would provoke anyone to dance, and we loved to go to youtube to watch his videos and hear all of his music. He was an amazing artist, and that is why I will remember him.
You are now in a better place with the lord where there is no pain and no suffering. You are at peace now Michael Jackson, you will be missed and forever loved. Rest In Peace….

Michael Jackson was an excellent Music Artist of contemporary part of the world which receives the Western Influence. He would be remembered as a Pop Song King who dominated the history of music of heavy metal instruments during 1980-2009.
As a popular singer in America, Michael Jackson had not enjoyed any rights in relation to filing a lawsuit against someone who could have made a false accusation on him causing him to be prosecuted by the public prosecutor of California or who could have passed some slanderous remark or libel on him. This is the American interpretation of basic civil liberty and libel law for purpose of protecting the freedom of speech from being hijacked by the powerful, rich and famous.
Shouldn’t Najib and Rosie be kind enough to show their respect towards the basic civil liberty and be ready to take the initiative to follow the good example of Michael Jackson in order to preserve the Freedom of Speech in Malaysia? Shouldn’t Najib and Rosie voluntarily waive their rights of engaging the Police to take some civilians like RPK to court based on the ambiguous accusation of slander or libel?
May Michael Jackson’s soul rest in peace.
King of Pop, rest in peace. Billie Jean is always in my heart!
Farrah Fawcett also died today.
Michael,
Thanks for the colorful music you brought to millions of people around the world throughout your amazing career.
May you rest in peace.
Jamesy.
there are claims that michael jackson was over medicated, his heart slowing until it came to a full stop. at least he didn’t have to die like neda soltan did – with a bullet to the head, a bullet used only by the CIA.
“Whom the Gods love die young!”
MJ, may you rest in peace. You will forever be remembered by all young and old across the world.
Al Fatihah Mikaeel Jackson Abdullah.
Greatest of all.
The King of Entertainment!
We will all miss you!
To ‘Angel’ Farrah Fawcett, may you rest in peace.
The world mourns of your passing away too!
The police detective acted by Farrah Fawcett and her two female police partners together created a good image of police in dispensing justice. This good image caused a great impact on the childhood development stages of many young kids and teenagers in Malaysia during 1970s.
I wish I can more often see the image of the righteous police detective represented by Farrah Fawcett in the Police Force of Malaysia!
Two characters who defined one generation of people the world over. Can you beat that? Can anyone? They will now live on in our hearts. I thank them both for the music and the wonderful entertainment.
The Greatest has to rest too. May you rest in peace before your return
For those born in the 60s will sure very fond of The Charlie Angle- Farah one of the angles also call to be with GOD. May she rest in peace too.
Poor man.
He was a genius and a fool.
He lived in a dream world….all his life.
A very down to earth and kind soul…but never really live a normal life at all.
Some of his songs are so touching…so inspirational.
There never will be another Micheal Jackson.
I expected him to have a very short life…for he misused and abused his own body….to defy God too.
May he wake up and be with the Lord…….happy and well.
May he rest in peace. His music and talent will live forever.
Think of Michael Jackson, think of life. Think of Michael Jackson, think of others like Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and others in the more or less the same situation. Mike Jackson 50 years old, almost the same age as Malaysia. KPI for Mike is a definite 5 stars and above, following MS ISO strictly. No doubt about that. But again. KPI and MS ISO do not necessarily show the real situation. The performance is good. The records well kept. But the dirty little secrets are laid under the carpet. Outwardly, Mike was the King of pop, a superstar. He used to have so much money. He used to have a playground called the Neverland. Then he had to declare bankruptcy. He got himself into trouble with the laws. He was on a sold out road show, probably to pay back the money, probably as a way of saying goodbye if his death is intentional. What legacy did he leave behind ? No doubt he created an awareness to be different, to be creative, to think out of the box, to be daring. At the same time, money, influence and fame have to be managed properly because if not these will add to one’s miseries rather than happiness. Michael Jackson to the world is what Sudirman Arshad is to Malaysia. Great talent is lost. But look forward. New and better talents will show up.
MJ,
May you rest in Peace, this world it too harsh for a good soul like you.
………
a fan.
To the rest of the readers,
Michael’s life on earth has been a victim of his success. Through his success came fame and money. And these two entities attracted not just all the good people into his life but also some very nasty and ill minded people too.
I am no judge to determine those who wronged him are right or wrong, but certainly it smells rat.
Starting with a British journalist Martin Bashir who fooled MJ for an interview.
Bashir however did not do it for the love of Michael but with evil intention for fame and money. He sensationalized and used only material from the interview to project a skewed opinion of Michael.
Then the list of bad people just go on and on.
So, the lesson learned from MJ’s life is, take charge of your life, or life will take charge of you.
Politically, the learning for Malaysian who love Malaysia is to take charge of your political life or BN’s dirty politics will take care of you.
A good example is the infamous “Perak Fiasco”. It all started by the resounding PR’s success in the last GE. It attracted all the good people and also the very bad ones “The Selfish & Corrupted Threes”. The party is dragged through muds by the BN’s hidden hands in the judicial machinery until it lost control of the State.
So, I hope with the demise of MJ, a lesson is well learned.
I was watching the TV3 news last night where Micheal Jackson’s dead was reported. A good major portion of this news reporting was centered around MJ now being a Muslim and that his name is now Mikhail something……
Ah…. what a sick TV3!! But then, that is precisely the mentality of many in Malaysia..religious bigots.
May his soul rest in peace.
Raja Chulan.
Whether Michael Jackson is a Jehovah Witness or Mikaeel Abdullah is an Islamic follower, it proves that he was seeking for inner peace. Cat Stevens who later become Yusuf Islam found this inner peace. The moral of the story is survival is an instinct and in order to survive not just physically, but mentally and what is in the inner man, peace and patience among many others are needed and all the more if you are in such a competitive situation whereby people will attack you from all sides. Just know that God is with you. Or whatever higher forces so that you do not need to depend on artificial substances like painkillers and all that.
He is still known as Micheal Jackson to Americans.
Does that mean Americans are disrespecting his conversion to a Muslim?
Micheal Jackson was known to dream and say things like a child with an innocent.. fickle mind.
I think he was never a Muslim …properly converted..and if he did so…it is for selfish ulterior motives to migrate and not for the love of Allah.
So why must Malaysian government feel so proud to promote him as a Muslim? If at all….he was a hypocritical Muslim.
Lets see how he will be buried or cremated.
He loves sensational news…and most of the time…the news got him into trouble.
But deep inside..that’s a man with a pure and great heart for human beings…..yet he said he helped thousands of helpless children…yet we never heard he donated lots of money to this or that foundation.
I sensed he was cunning…selfish and stingy too…but used his status..to keep on getting attentions from the world.
I think he loved the good or bad..attentions…..and turned out..more bad and harm for him….as for his personal life….he did lied on plastic surgery matter…..one cover up after another.
That’s the reputation he built up for himself…a great liar.
Had he told the truth and the reasons why sincerely…even admitting he likes to feel more white than brown…world will accepts his rights to do what he wanted with his body….but he lied and said only 2 surgeries done.
But from his many songs….it can only be written by a man with great spiritual understandings and pure heart.
Therefore..there is no doubt ..Micheal Jackson is a real good soul.
He did have a split personality and many moods.
He never lived a normal life at all. He said and acted upon reading and listening to those he trusted..like Diana Ross… Elizabeth Taylor and Jane Fonda…all much older than him……and showed he needed motherly love and trusted women more than men.
I think the only man he really trused was Quincy Jones.
All are entertainers and none from the normal world…..although all those he trusted had experiences of normal lives.
Listening is one thing. .getting the experience is another.
He was destined …….never to get the experience…for he was larger than life and he was never left in peace to be one normal man.
You can say…..his father made him and destroyed him…..for love of money and fame more than a son.
Surthrival …. thriving through all circumstances
In the spirit of Bumisohology (interconnectedness, survival, thrive and fate … SURTHRIVAL … thriving through all circumstances), I like to dedicate my 100th post in my blog to Michael Jackson’s memory:-. http://tinyurl.com/lbdreg
One must not forget…competing with Micheal Jackson was Prince………..so much so..Prince gave up his stage name “Prince”…threw in the towel.
That’s how powerful and original.. MJ was…..creating and exposing all his own moves .the moonwalk..and others…and showed them to the world…with his live performance…singing….’Billie Jean”….to take the world by storm.
But that was the young and not so old audiences.
Older generations knew…James Brown ….Sam Cooke are the real creator of the moves…….especially from James Brown.
MJ with a man putting a cape over him and led him away….from a clear copy of James Brown act.
Prince reappeared few years ago…with the name “Prince” again.
He knew MJ was finished and he was in demand ..as the closest to Micheal Jackson…was Prince..although to me…he is no where near MJ.
The only similarity is both composed their own songs…and Prince is a rocker…MJ is R&B…rocker…ballads.
The only logical explanation I can think of..why MJ goes for so many plastic surgery operations is that he was seeing signs of leprosy creeping into him.
So cut that and cover it up…to keep being a performer..with no illness…like he is a weirdo.
Only he knows the truth…and he brings that to his grave.
Surgeons paid by the US$millions….just do as they are told.
Anyone get closed to MJ that are poor…were millionaires.
He paid millions to close court cases…to settle out of court.
Maybe he needed the time….to attend to his skin and health.
Just look at the nose.
Does that not showing a sign…he could not get a good cover up..and leprosy …..creep in..ate it all?
No one can envy him……only have full of pity for one…that never ever lived a normal life…from age 5 up to 50.
This is a sad sad history of a genius in music…took away from us…too soon.
But GOD maybe saving him from more sufferings…and let him finally…rest with peace and happiness.
I think MJ will soon realize..he is happier being dead than alive.
JAKIM do your stuff….
Well guys, said and well said and it’s done.Let us all wish Micheal Jackson “rest in peace” and our condolence to his family.
