Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has resorted to the classic but contemptible ploy of unprincipled politicians of blaming the press for twisting his words when he should have been honest and humble enough to own up and apologise for making what former Penang Gerakan Exco member, Dr. Toh Kin Woon, had rightly described as “insulting” and “distasteful” statements in the Mingguan Malaysia interview about the role of the Malaysian Chinese voters in the Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau by-elections and the “new political scenario”.
Muhyiddin had compounded his mistake and now owes a second apology – the first apology for the most retrogressive, racist and offensive remarks about the Chinese in the Mingguan Malaysia interview and the second apology to the Chinese media, for wrongly blaming them for distorting what he had said in the interview.
Even worse, he had dragged the MCA President and Transport Minister, Datuk Seri Ong Tee Kiat into the cauldron who should also make a public apology.
It has been reported that Muhyiddin today hit out at the Chinese papers for twisting his words and putting him in a bad light among the Chinese community.
The Malaysian Insider reported:
He denied calling the Chinese ungrateful. The DPM claimed what he had said was that the Chinese were unappreciative.
The deputy prime minister denied he had used the word “ungrateful” to describe the community in the wake of the ruling party’s defeat in the Bukit Gantang by-election in an interview published on Sunday in Mingguan Malaysia.
“If they don’t know Malay, we can send them to school,” said Muhyiddin, who is also the new education minister.
Malaysiakini reported:
Muhyiddin also said that MCA president Ong Tee Keat had found nothing wrong with his statement in Mingguan Malaysia.
“I think it’s the Chinese papers. I don’t know. I don’t read Chinese but I got people who reported to me and they (the Chinese dailies) twisted my statement,” he said.
In the first instance, did the Chinese media twist what Muhyiddin said in the Mingguan Malaysia interview? Muhyiddin denied that he had used the word “ungrateful” and only used the word “unappreciative”. Is Muhyiddin right?
In my statement responding to Muhyiddin’s Mingguan Malaysia interview, I had referred to the headlines in the Chinese press like “Muhyiddin – Chinese ungrateful to BN” (Sin Chew); “Chinese fooled Barisan Nasional. Muhyiddin – Get benefits but do not vote in support” (Nanyang); “BN feels tricked. Muhyiddin – Satisfy Chinese demands still no support” (China Press)
Did the Chinese press distort what Muhyiddin said?
I had re-read Muhyiddin’s Mingguan Malaysian interview and I found that what the Chinese press reported was a fair and accurate translation of what Muhyiddin actually said, and Muhyiddin’s denial that he had not described the Chinese as “ungrateful” does not hold water!
This is what Muhyiddin said:
Muhyiddin said both, “unappreciative” (“tidak ada penghargaan terhadap apa yang kita lakukan”) and “ungrateful” (“sepatutnya mereka membalas budi” but did not).
Who should now be sent back to school, Muhyiddin himself or the Chinese media reporters and editors?
If it is true that Tee Kiat had told Muhyiddin that the former had found “nothing wrong with his statement in Mingguan Malaysia”, then the MCA President owes the public a fulsome apology for failing in his pledge to “stand up and speak the truth”! Otherwise, a full clarification from Tee Kiat denying Muhyiddin’s claim cannot be further delayed.
Any re-reading of Muhyiddin’s Mingguan Malaysia interview will find it doubly irresponsible, disgusting and reprehensible, raising the question as to how MCA, Gerakan and non-Umno Ministers could accept Muhyiddin’s exposition of the “1Malaysia” slogan of the Najib premiership.
Muhyiddin falsely accused the Chinese and Indians of trying to be the “kingmakers” to deny the Malays of their political rights. Is Muhyiddin prepared to withdraw and apologise for such an outrageous accusation or is this the official stand of the Najib Cabinet?
Muhyiddin also purveyed the distasteful and disgusting canard that there were “racists” among the Chinese in Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau who viewed the illegal power grab in Perak as “the toppling of a Chinese government by a Malay government”.
I am most outraged and shocked by such downright racism. I have never come across anyone discussing or perceiving the undemocratic, unethical, illegal and unconstitutional power grab in Perak in these racist terms and I challenge Muhyiddin to substantiate his canard that there is the racist perception of “a Chinese government being toppled by a Malay government”.
The Pakatan Rakyat Perak State government led by Mentri Besar Datuk Mohamad Nizar Jamaluddin is a fully Malaysian government comprising leaders from DAP, PAS and PKR, and is no Chinese, Malay or Indian Government.
Which MCA, Gerakan or MIC leader had misled Muhyiddin into believing that MCA, Gerakan and MIC had failed to swing the Chinese and Indian voters in favour of the Barisan Nasional candidates by feeding him with such a canard?
If Muhyiddin cannot substantiate his canard that the toppling of the Pakatan Rakyat Perak state government is regarded as “a toppling of a Chinese government by a Malay government”, this is a third apology he should make to all Malaysians.
Muhyiddin’s attempt to blame the Chinese media for what he actually said in the Mingguan Malaysia interview as well as his irresponsible interpretation as to why Barisan Nasional lost in Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau by-elections have come as the latest blows to the credibility, integrity and legitimacy of the Najib premiership and Cabinet.
Malaysians expect a satisfactory accounting by the Najib Cabinet at its first meeting tomorrow.
So, Gerakan and MCA have to apologise to Muhyiddin for their statement on what Muhyiddin said?
Looks like MCA, Gerakan, MIC have to kau tao even worst under C4-Najib-Muhyiddin tag team.
Mushidin should start learning Chinese in order to understand Chinese dailies better!!!
Agreed with Dr Toh KW. Our DPM’s distasteful statement revealed that he is a racist, has a corrupted mind (money politics) and his self-denial making him a liar.
Actually whatever he then try to justify and said are basically political talk for his and UMNO’s interest. He has not much sense sincerety, humility and a courage to admit his mistakes and failures.
There is no leadership quality in him. He must try to understand why the non-Malays do not vote for UMNO without any obscurity, impartial and pre-concept.
My opinion concerning why Chinese rejected UMNO. I felt that mainly because they do not trust UMNO anymore and they find UMNO is full of dirt, hypocrisy, corruption, lies, insincerety and power-crazy, dictatorial attitude, big bully, full of selfish ambitions, etc. The Chinese do not respect MCA because they behaved like UMNO’s lap dog, hypocrites and also not sincere and Ong TK is taking the lead.
Hence both DPM and Ong TK should apologise sincerely and not try to justify and say some more political talk.
Since when Umno ministers ever apologise for what they said?
Of course MY meant what he said, ie Chinese Malaysians in the recent concluded buy elections were utterly ungrateful and unappreciative of what Umno did for them – gave them all the goodies and they took but did not vote for Umno sponsored candidates. Shame, shame – did not know how to play money politics, which dictates that money masuk must janji votes.
3/4 naked dancing girls also provided for Chinese voters to enjoy. Mana ada tengok and shiok already, tak bagi votes. Teruknya Chinese voters. Tak faham the rules of buy elections.
Anyway, what MY said was meant for Malay consumption, to push them to vote for Umno so that Umnoputras and their cronies can continue to hold on to power and to plunder the wealth of the nation on behalf of Malays.
What MY said was not supposed to be translated for Chinese to read. The reporters of various Chinese newspapers better be careful. As messengers, they may be nabbed under ISA for their safety. Remember what happened recently to the lady reporter who reported what one racist Umnoputra from Penang said?
“1Malaysia” = Malaysia for ONE group, ie Umnoputras.
Of course, MCA and Gerakan, waiting for crumbs, must agree with MY. MIC, who cares what MIC think. MY already told MIC to disappear if not happy with the little crumbs that they received.
As usual our DPM follow BN DUmmies guide book and blame the media. No surprises there!
Just check out the other BN leaders who have done exactly the same in the pass.
http://malaysianjustice.blogspot.com/2009/01/misquote-misquote-misquote.html
Muhyiddin said that 10 State Assemblymen who were absent from the meeting session of Terengganu State Legislative Assembly on 14.04.2009 had the legal rights not to attend the meeting session based on their legitimate reason that their lives were endangered by the vandalism threat implied in a SMS message being sent to them by a top officer from Terengganu MB’s office.
However, Najib issued a party whip order that all BN State Assemblymen had to attend the meeting session in Terengganu State Legislative Assembly as Najib claimed that there was confirmed no vandalism threat from the MB’s office.
The contradiction between Muhyiddin’s opinion and Najib’s opinion has clrealy shown that Umno’s new division along the line of factionalism among the warlord was too real for anyone to deny by now.
Najib has seriously failed his first theme of “1 Malaysia” in his newly launched slogan. Umno by right should have ended its party division after the completion of whole process of the much divisive party election but many signs indicated that Umno’s factional fight would most likely be prolonged by the power juggling warlords.
Malaysia’s economic situation is bound to have been turning from bad to worse with the political conflicts among the factions seeing no end in the near future but to extend for a much longer period.
Malaysian people are warned to fasten their seat belt in order to ride safely through another round of roller coaster tidal wave of political instability due to the prevalence of Umno’s factionalism.
He is not the only UMNO politicians, including senior politicians, holding such view.
How could the Chinese parties in BN allowed themselves to be treated so badly and unfairly for so long? 1Malaysia??
Always blame the press and media for “misreporting” and reporting “out of context”. The press is always at fault.
No politician, especially from the UMNO government, will ever admit their mistakes and adverse comments. The have no “huevos”.
Shameless scumbag Muhyiddin, DPM of less than a week already stirring racial issues.
Seems like Najib’s slogan of ‘1Malaysia’ remains ‘syok sendiri slogan’ stand less than a week after all.
Shame, shame.
Oh. Its so predictable. So very predictable.
The DPM seems to have a habit of blaming others!!!
Muhyiddin is not fit enough to be DPM for Malaysia! 1Malaysia? What a sarcastic slogan! Malaysia Chinese is also citizen of Malaysia… If BN continues ruling our country, it seems that Chinese and Indian will live at the mercy of UMNO. BN will only throw “gula-gula” when they want to gain support from rakyat to form government.
DPM, the more you try to explain the deeper is the ‘hole’.
Please reduce penyataan politik. Spend your time and energy to do more meaningful deeds for the people. Something that would improve the people’s livelihood.
I also noticed the ppor quality of BM in the Mingguan report. For example why use ‘lokal’ when we have ‘tempatan, and is ‘rasis’ meant to mean ‘racist’?
As Education Minister, you should look into ways to enrich the vocabulary of BM, so that people don’t just coin new words as they like. This is what I would call meaningful work.
It’s actually UMNO who has been ungrateful and unappreciative of the Chinese and Indian supports all these years. On the last GE and then after, we have decided enough is enough!
Hi DPM, we did not support you not simply because we view Perak belong to Chinese, we never have that thinking we always believe in PR will be fair, and responsible. We view the way Perak way taken away was unconstitutional. I have not problem of supporting BN as I have been voting in BN for the past decade until 308. The reason is very simple to me, BN have become corrupt beyond redemption. BN and UMNO in most specific have become money party and this is the root problem that you have to first recognized and find a true solution, there is no point of accusing the Chinese or other wise for not supporting you as we have support you BN rain and shine until BN, that was our stupidity because we have supported you such much until every time BN hasve more than 2/3 majority until you all lose you head and keep raping and robing the nation wealth for your crony. That was the root problem, if you changed I will vote for you and if was you that have been ungrateful for our past support and you have failed us for so long. It should we say you BN ungrateful to our past decade support and not the other round.
Please think CAREFULLY!!!!!
What an arrogant Muhyiddin!!!
The new DPM has poor command of English and with this kind of excuses, his Bahasa Melayu is also within the category of poor.
What a shame, everything is crystal clear and yet he has gut to deny it and blaming others.
Is this the quality of Malaysia Deputy Prime Minister? What will the Super mopiko minister comment on this for his unity agenda???
Anyway, I am lucky as I don’t vote this clown to be DPM and he is only fit to be Deputy PM for UMNO/BN only.
If he doesn’t apologize to the people of Malaysia, then he doesn’t deserve the respect of the people and snub him whenever we bump into this man -moron.
This guy doesn’t realize how our education system has trained us to understand Chinese, Malay and English without any help of translation. We can READ your text in Malay and know EXACTLY what you mean.
Let’s hope he makes more gaffe to speed up the demise of BN. ;)
People have enough with the curse of RAHMAN. No more voodoo, please. Thank you.
The syndrome of self denial and the habit of put the blame on reporters was not new in this bunch of arrogant politician. This habit will not change and this was the legacy of the old hat that until today he always say thing like I do not know this and that and the AP was not under me. All sort of self denial.
At the end of the day the reporters are force to eat the dead chicken!!!
an amateur stayed an amateur, all the while play the kampong league and pretend to be above others but actually as blind as a bat …not knowing what to do next,
now after paying all favours to his seniors and finally get a shot in the open ….

go and sleep , your eyes is telling so.
hardly 1 week his boss mentioned about 1 Malaysia, rakyat first blah blah blah….repeat of Pak Lah-ism? Talk nice – nice but let subordinate speak differently?
it also shows what the DPM, his party & Mingguan Malaysia stands for.
Ong Tee Keat claims he will be vocal etc. Ong Kah Teng was vocal initially after handing over the reigns …their silence is deafening.
Another minister infected with the “foot-in-the-mouth” disease.
“If they don’t know Malay, we can send them to school,”
– How can such a PATRONISING statement be coming from the new Education minister? Disappointing.
by the way, whaddaya mean “we” suppose to be grateful. The DPM and his comrades & their families have a very nice life style out from tax payers’ money; not the other way round.
YB – Yang Berhormat & Yang Berkhidmat. That’s democracy. Elected by the people for the people.
He should be grateful to all tax payers for letting him have a nice fat budget to dine on, administer, allocate, use, misuse, blah blah blah
A check in MS Word US English Thesaurus for \Unappreciative\ or in your words \macam tidak ada penghargaan\ shows:
1. Ungrateful;
2. Showing no gratitude;
3. Unthankful.
Which US/UK/Queen’s English dictionary are you using? DPM don’t insult Rakyat command of English or Bahasa Malaysia or Baku!
2 Headed Racist Snake spewing venom!
“a Chinese government being toppled by a Malay government”.
===============================================
Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin please stop playing the race-card. No Mahathirism please.
Just watched C4PM on 9.30pm news on NTV7.
He was giving his 1Malaysia rhetorics, and I got 3 words for him;
incoherent, unbelievable, incredulous
Not to mention: disgusting.
Ya Allah, just only yesterday MCA and Gerakan rebuked their boss Muhyiddin his distasteful, offensive and insulting remarks about orang Cina being ungrateful. Now it has become just a misunderstanding after MCA taiko OTK cleared the air by saying he found nothing wrong with Muhyiddin’s statement. I sekarang pun keliru, tak tau what is happening. I ala baca M. Malaysia lan translasinya lalam Sin Chew 10 kali oh. Ay! tak ala sala. Jadi I rasa reporter Sin Chew tak usah “go back to school”. Tetapi I fikir Mingguan Malaysia misquoted atau carried Muhy’s kenyataan out of context. Sin Chew petik from MM. Jadi semua jadi sala. Misunderstang aja. Semua tak paya cakap ‘sorry’ Case tutup.
“a Chinese government being toppled by a Malay government”?
I feel puzzy and can not understand through normal mind.
Any view from PKR or Pas?
Asking him to apologise is not enough. Ask him to step down for he’s the real racist and we need no racist. Malaysia belongs to all Malaysians.
Like P. Ramlee said, “Sandiwara lapok…daa.”
“If they don’t know Malay, we can send them to
school,” said Muhyiddin, who is also the new
education minister.
——————————
As a Malaysian, as a Malay and as a muslim, I
feel really ashamed by his statement… I feel
embarrased and really not comfortable with his
way representing the cabinet… I just…
Honestly I have a sense that previously during
school and until now, it seems like he was in
dinasour age in the middle of modern Malaysia
while all orang utans and monkeys surrounding
him… As I said before, a lot of UMNO leaders
are just muslims without knowing and recognize
their own religion… In our Holy Quran, Sura
(Chapter) An-Nisa sentence 36th, our God said,
“Worship Allah and join none with Him
(in worship); and do good to parents, kinsfolk,
orphans, al-masakin (the poor), the neighbour
who is near of kin, the neighbour who is a
stranger, the companion by your side, the
wayfarer (you meet), and those (slaves) whom
your right hands posses. Verily, Allah does not
like such are proud and boastful.” — This
Muhyiddin is such a disgrace for the community
of Malaysian, Malays and muslims. I think if I have
the money, I want to send him to the NASA and
fly him alone to the Mars and let him learn on
how to live ALONE and HIS OWN… I have a lot of
Chinese friends here (in University of Malaya)
which I already told before, in my class there
are only 5 Malays and 25 others are Chinese… I
feel weird when Im living with my friends
peacefully and full of honest friendship, there
are still a bunch of racist idiot politicians
trying to create a negative 110 degree Celcius
atmosphere among the unity in Malaysia… I feel
UNCOMFORTABLE!!! Seriously I said!!! I dont
lie!!! Its uncomfortable. Here, with full of my
sincerity – I admit, I acknowledge, I accept and
with fully honour, I am saying if without the
Chinese here, guaranteed our Motherland of Malaysia
is going to be still, going to be end up and going
to be just like Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand,
Philippines and Indonesia right now… We can see
currently we are much more developed than them and
only just behind Singapore in South East of Asia…
We should just unite and continue drastically to
develop our nation, our motherland… Just ignore
this kind of Martian politician (even the Mars
also I think will reject him)…
———————————
Thank you abang-abang sekalian.
Is the DPM trying to tell the whole world that there are 2 guvernments running Malaysia-A Malay government and a Chinese government? What a clown he is. Worse than Sai Abba.
He has not learnt well from his mentor; when to talk and when to buat bodoh and keep quiet.
What do you all feel right now? I feel…
Seriously uncomfortable. Actualy… Its dangerous
if you keep playing the racist card. I know,
he just trying to gain the support from the
“majority” while the “majority” already ignoring
him. Trust me. Previous two Bukits already showed
him how the rakyat was / is rejecting this kind
of politician. Its… uncomfortable atmosphere
and dangerous. EERRGGHH!! Diharap bersabar
abang-abang sekalian.
Just watch! Every time he open his mouth…it will show more and more the real UMNO BARU…bringing us to another level of their stupidity….never seen before.
Malaysians are very fortunate to see Mahathir as he is..not as PM. Now all know who he is.
Muhyiddin has not the slightest qualification nor qualities to be DPM….but he is elected by UMNO BARU active members.
Birds of the same feather trully flocks together.
And the shouts…’hidup Mahathir” and calling him UMNO BARU’s Messiah said it all.
UMNO BARU is a bankcrupt party,
Just watch! Every time Muhyiddin opens his mouth…it will show more and more the real UMNO BARU…bringing us to another level of their stupidity….never seen before.

UMNO BARU is a bankcrupt party,
Muhyiddin should blame Mingguan Malaysia instead of Sin Chew. Sin Chew plucked the news from MM and published it. If MM had not posed the pertinent question, all would have been well for him. Sueh! celaka.
Muhyiddin, don’t talk to reporters from MM, NST, SC, NYSP, Stars…….May I suggest you go to Suara Keadilan or Harakah. I can guarantee your statements will not be “twisted”
I am truly shocked. I never knew Nizar was Chinese! But the good minister is absolutely right when he said. “masyarakat Cina dan India belum bersedia menerima apa-apa bentuk pimpinan kerajaan yang seperti ada sekarang ini,” because no one supports such a corrupt and racist government. Voting has nothing to do with appreciation, it has to do with exercising citizen rights to put who one thinks is suitable for the job into government. But right, perhaps after 50 years they have forgotten what voting is supposed to mean.
As I read it, the message sent out to BN recently by the Bukit Gantang voters was this:
” Yes, we are grateful to you, for the juta ringgits (even though that’s not your money; it’s the taxpayers’ money), we are still very grateful. ..But.. we don’t like your style! Why? Here you give a million, and there you robbed the whole Perak state from us! We not only do not like it, we loathe it !!! ”
It’s that simple!
I fully expect one day when they look up from counting their money, they’ll read the ‘pro UMNO’ press and demand to know why they haven’t been twisting their words. “You so ungrateful one! All these years printing my comments exactly word for word – make me look like idiot!”
Based on his twisted logic, 43% of Malays are also ungrateful to BN in Bukit Gantang.
Let’s remind this sour graped politician that abusing taxpayers’ money is equivalent to criminal breach of trust in the corporate world!
“Hidup UMNO”, “Hidup Najib” “Hidup Muhyiddin” “Hidup Mahatir”…….sehingga tahun 2013.
Hidup Malaysia, Hidup Melayu, Hidup Cina, Hidup India, Hidup Bangsa Malaysia untuk selama lamanya
I’ve found out UMNO people are really good at shouting slogans : hidup this, hidup that, 1 malaysia, 2 Malysia, 3 Malaysia…that sort of things…
Nizar is not only a traitor of Malay but an enemy of UMNO. Please do not forget that UMNO was the party who fought for the independence of Malaysia! What has PKR and PAS do to the Rakyat in the past? We expect that Chinese and Indian pay enough respect to UMNO and BN because they have already greatly benefited from the BN ruling in the past 50 years and it is time they show their gratitudes. It is disappointing to learn that while we have given so much benefits to both races and they voted against BN. This is illogical and is most unacceptable act. We do not ask very much from the two races. We only ask them to vote for us in the election and this is that simple!
To avoid further confrontation between the government and the two races, we strongly urge the Chinese and Indian to read the history of Malaysia and appreciate what the BN government had done for them in the past.
If you have read Malaysia history of the recent 38 years, you will know that the Chines and the Indians have been treated as if they were 2nd class citizens.
Kasim Amat, I think your opinion its not appropriate
laah… I think we should give more respect to
our brothers… We can see that they also respecting
us… Plus we are human and our blood, same red maa…
Not yellow, not blue or not green…
Is intimidation a crime in Malaysia?
As I said my bahasa subject is C3 , whereby our DPM clown confirmed is F9. Oh I forgot to inform him that my Mandarin got A1. I dun believe the chinese daily recruited editor or reporter with their education background lower then this brainless clown.
“If they don’t know Malay, we can send them to school ”
Haha, this dude really brainless, he vommit again………… I wonder how this clown can be NO.2????????
Why the rejected Koh so quite? Why not go ask the Super Minister for comment , brainless NO.2? Another c2p MCA president get involved to joint in the brainless club……woh…Transport Minister
[deleted]
MY’s statements and thoughts clearly show the typical misplaced arrogant attitude of Umno and BN politicians!
They think they are in power and the bosses of rakyat, and they demand respect, gratitude, appreciation!
They forgot that the RAKYAT are REALLY the BOSSES who choose politicians to serve them during the General Election or by elections.
If the rakyat do not like what they see in their SERVANTS(arrogance, corruption, money politics, racist attitude and behaviour, murder, abuse of power), they kick their asses and vote them out, even though the servants tried to bribe them.
Actually, the SERVANTS (including PM and DPM; strange that the servants should be addressed as YAB, YB, etc) should be the ones showing gratitude and appreciation to the rakyat for giving them the chance to be paid handsomely (salary and numerous allowances) to serve the rakyat and nation properly, not to enrich themselves!
So MY, wake up and show your gratitude and appreciation before the rakyat kick your ass!
“…………….UMNO was the party who fought for the independence of Malaysia”
Kasim Amat,
I can give some marks for knowing a little bit of history. Actually, the MCA was first to negotiate with the British government for independence, followed by UMNO. Both failed because the British wanted for the three major races-Malays, Chinese and Indians-to share power in the governing of Malaya. So, it was only when the three parties went together to negotiate that the British agreed to give independence.
But, Kasim Amat, the party you love so much is dead and gone. It was declared illegal in 1987. Dr. Mahatir set up a new party, UMNO BARU.
UMNO and UMNO BARU are not the same. UMNO, together with MCA and MIC “fought for the independence of Malaysia” ( in your own words ), while UMNO BARU pratises race politics and openly robs the country’s wealth. This is the glaring difference, saudara Kasim Amat. Don’t just listen to what UMNOputras ( UNMO BARU leaders ) tell you. Go read up more to further your knowledge.
My best wishes to you.
Like I have said umpteen times, we have MULTI-PURPOSE ministers who know nuts about the Ministries they are in charge of in Malaysia.
We have:
Finance Ministers who does not know how to count.
Health Ministers who fail basic hygiene tests.
Education Ministers who don’t know how to read.
Transport Ministers who don’t know how to drive.
Labour Ministers who don’t know what employment is about.
Defence Ministers who don’t know how to fight a war.
Information Ministers who give the wrong information.
And Prime Ministers who don’t know how to run a nation!!!!
And the list goes on……………..
the more the morons talk, the more they reveal their stupidities,i rily speechless, they can twist their tongues without a sence of ‘malu’,this is a thousandth repeatations, and there are more to come!believe me!same mistakes,.year in,year out;day in,day out!
Naughty boy caught with his pant down. Blame others for looking at him.
These ahem! people are all the same. Playing race game. It is so entrenched in the deepest part of the brain. Open the mouth and racial words automatically come out. If he is honest, Muhyddin should disqualify himself to be the DPM. He knows he is not up to the job because he is a raclst bigot. That is if he is honest
I agree with ktteokt’s comments about our multi-talented ministers some of whom are being re-cyled – part of the green movement?
It seems MY has been demoted and shows his disappointment.
Hishamuddin should have continued in education to complete the English reforms in schols but now he is put in charge of the Home Ministry.
Unless we see some definite results within 2 months, don’t expect anything much to happen. After all, this is only a new Cabinet and not a new government and these guys should know what the people want. Like releasing ISA detainees first and then amending the laws.

OrangRojak,
Referring to your queation above ( at 00:48.53 ), frankly as a layman I don’t know whether or not intimidation would constitute a crime in Malaysia. But the general perception is that if such intimidation was coming out from UMNO people (leaders, members, supporters, etc) directed towards non-UMNO people, then..well, you know the answer.
Send him to school to learn Malay. Maybe he will understand what he is saying after that. BTW since when did BN leaders apologise for saying insensitive remarks…
The DPM is now blaming the press for twisting his words. Those unprincipled reporters should better run and hide because they are going to be arrested under the isa, as happened to Ms Cheng from Bukit Mertajam who reported on Ahmad Ismail’s speech on “pendatangs” during the Permatang Pauh by-election
1. BN promises $X millions (X) to Hill No1
2. BN wins Hill No1
3. BN ignore Hill No1 Rakyat for 5 years
4. BN recoup $Y millions (Y) by hook & by crook
5. BN scores big in dirty KPI by achieving excellent +ve %ROI (Y/X) shared by elitists only
6. BN repeats Step 1-5 in next GE/By Election
Sorry monkeys, that formulae is long obselete and you all dinosaurs still worship this formula like Da Vinci Code. Bye bye in GE13!
On 14/4/2009 at 23:43.38, Kasim Amat Says:
Please do not forget that UMNO was the party who fought for the independence of Malaysia!
Over two centuries ago, George Washington fought for the independence of the United States of America, and became its first president, but he was not at first officially a member of any political party at that time.
However, during his presidency, members of his cabinet formed the Federalist Party which shared a similar political ideals with Washington.
The Federalist Party only lasted until 1812 because its leaders were split apart over the Anglo-American war during that same year.
Thus, although the major political parties in the U.S. today, the Democratic Party & the Republican Party do not have any direct history with any of the American founding fathers like the defunct Federalist Party, the country still exists together with its system of government.
The Indian National Congress Party had fought for the independence of India since 1919 and finally achieved its objective in 1947.
Since then, the Congress party has ruled India, except in 1977 when the Janata Party won the elections, and again in 1996 when the Bharatiya Janata Party also won the elections.
Despite having been ruled by political parties which did not exist before the country’s independence, this country also still exists with its system of government.
The Malaysian constitution does not say that the country has to be always ruled by UMNO, but it does say that this nation’s system of government is based on democracy, which means that this nation actually belongs to its citizens, and not the sole property of UMNO alone…
Tell me who should be grateful – the elected or those who elected?
