The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s greatest failure is his inability to honour his most important pledge to be Prime Minister for all Malaysians.
This is why his Hari Raya message that “This country belongs to all of us, everyone of us” and that “No citizen is recognized as being of a higher status than another in this motherland” fell like a damp squib.
If Abdullah had expressed such sentiments in his first 100 days as Prime Minister, it would have taken the country by storm like his sonorous statements made in his first months in office, such as “Work with me, not for me” and his pledge to be Prime Minister for all Malaysians.
Now, all these high-sounding statements fall flat, devoid of any inspirational quality, because Abdullah had failed to deliver a single one of the many grand promises for which he was given the unprecedented victory of over 91 per cent of parliamentary seats in the 2004 general election.
Abdullah’s Hari Raya message has only confirmed that the Prime Minister is suffering from a terminal form of denial syndrome when he said that the Barisan Nasional (BN) will not fail Malaysians and “whatever the circumstances”, the government is committed to discharging the trust and responsibility given it by the people.
How can Abdullah be unaware that it is precisely because the BN government had failed Malaysians after the unprecedented mandate in the 2004 general election that the BN received such a thrashing in the March 8 general election – the first “political tsunami”?
How can Abdullah be unaware that it is precisely because the BN government had continued to fail Malaysians that six months later, it received a second thrashing in the second politicial tsunami during the Permatang Pauh by-election on August 26?
Furthermore, how can Abdullah be unaware that it is precisely because of the BN government’s failures resulting in widening and deepening of multiple crisis of confidence on all fronts which emboldened the “coup d’etat” in the Umno Supreme Council emergency meeting on Sept. 26, leaving him with seven days to decide whether to fight or bow down to pressures to end his premiership in six months’ time and withdraw from contest for the Umno Presidency?
Abdullah’s Hari Raya message is pathetic reading.
He said “it was saddening when racial issues which can tear apart the fabric of unity that has been woven together all this while were raised of late”.
What is even more saddening is his refusal to admit that those who raised “racial issues which can tear apart the fabric of unity that has woven together all this while” had all come from inside Umno power centres, as witnessed the “penumpang” furore created by Umno Bukit Bendera chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Ismail who is lionized by Umno, and even appointed as Umno Bukit Bendera division, despite three-year suspension by Umno Supreme Council.
Is Abdullah capable of redeeming even a single one of his many grand and high-sounding Prime Ministerial pledges before he fades away from the Putrajaya corridors of power – which is likely to be sooner than later?
A message straight from the heart, he is lying. Now, even my 6yrs daughter was asking why must the bad guys put good RPK behind bars.
Talk about trying to outsmart a 12yrs old….he’ll never learn. Clearly his famous denial hallmark!
No, Badawi will be remembered as the PM that failed. The PM that was controlled by Ahmad Ismail. The PM that was a lame duck.
I now realize why the RAHMAN list of PM’s ends with N :
R – Rahman
A – Abdul Razak
H – Hussein Onn
M – Mahathir
A – Abdullah
N – Najib
Najib will be the next PM. It is written. He will screw up just like his predecessor (or possible find himself truly impllicated in a murder trial). Najib will still continue to fumble, fail and flip-flop. Najib will still spout political rhetoric that means nothing to Malaysians. …Najib will still be yet another puppet of the high-priest of racism – Ahmad Ismail.
And Najib will go down in history as the shortest serving PM in this country.
Yes, after RAHMAN, there are no more because the TUANs are (and have always been) short-sighted and blinded by their greed for money, power, lust and racism.
This man does not know what he is talking about.
There were around 200,000 people showing up at his open house. He must be thinking that he is still very popular!
I wonder if this kind of open house is a waste of resources. I would rather prefer him to send some of the food to the illegal ISA detainees
This is what we called “thick skin”. A failure PM of Malaysia and he still laughed everytime on TV as though nothing happens. Stupid SOTB!!!
Everyone trusted his promises…especially being ‘People’s PM”
All Malaysians were waiting…with understanding….for him to deliver.
Before 12 the election…he showed some signs…he was delivering.
But Malaysians largely….do not trust him anymore…so he had a slim majority….as against 91% supporting him….in the 11th election.
After the 12th election…Dollah showed his true colour….a liar…full of cock and bull talks…sly and cunning…..corrupted……all in low class ways and mannerisms….thus confirmed…he has no class…..no brain…and totally……cannot be trusted.
Let it be.
His days as PM are numbered…..so is UMNO.
A small example of an all-inclusive government:
bernama.com/bernama/v5/newsindex.php?id=362277
I believe the ministry of education will be considerate and move the exam dates as requested.
I followed the message, it’s indeed pathetic. It was clear that he read it (well, we know that everyone does that) but couldn’t he do better? He even had a few lines wrongly read. What a shame!
Furthermore, he was trying to blame that the currentpolitical situation is due not other than the Pakatan Rakyat fault. Silly, stupid and pathetic losers!
If he has guts release Raja Petra and all other detainees and/or put the Ahmand in the cell all alone, let’s him taste it.
BTW, when can we get rid of this guy and the whole bunch of BeEnd …..s?
The rakyat have enought and wants a change! And these guy still heading the country like they are the chosen ones but indeed they chose themselves. Darn it!
Pardon me, YB but this is an urgent matter that requires your attention as it concerns the welfare of the rakyat. Health Minister Liow Tiong Lai told a lie when he said that the European Union countries allowed a 5ppm melamine in foodstuffs. Last week, Taiwan’s Health Minister resigned after trying to pull a fast one on the people by raising the permissible level from zero to 2.5ppm. Worldwide, it is zero level and to allow melamine in foodstuffs is akin to allowing dioxins in foodstuffs.
Liow must be held responsible and accountable and nothing but a resignation would gain the credibility of the nation as tainted melamine products are discovered in Taiwan.
Pls read my blog about this scandal.

Wanna bet your kidneys?
Taiwan has found Melamine-contaminated products that’s Made-In-Malaysia!
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – The Taipei City Health Bureau of Taipei City has decided to examine dairy products from Malaysia after the Golden Kestrel Co. informed the bureau that their cheese sandwich exported from Malaysia contained 29.818 parts per million of melamine.

Listening to him and following his work style is like looking at two different persons. He comes out with all sort of mantras but doing exactly the opposites or not doing anything at all in reality. Nobody takes what he says seriously any more. I hardly read his speech and do not watch him on TV because he’s so uninspiring. It’s like he’s reading somebody else’s speech. After he’s gone, no one will remember him except for all the negative things associated with him. He’ll be a text book case study of what not to copy if you aspire to be a good PM. Don’t forget the man who unleashed him onto us unsuspecting rakyat, Mahathir. Malaysia must be cursed.
He think all the Malaysian is stupid, until his last day, he still remains the mighty one by himself, TDM should be blame for entrusted the corridor of power to this man.
This MCA minister, LTL is from Makan Cina Association, and he moved a step further to MMA-Makan Malaysian Association-BEEND Group, of course it is going to be the end very soon.
Shameless Bodowi! Weakest PM of all time and thick-face about his inability to deliver his promises, he will be remembered as the useless PM in the history of Malaysia who wielded ISA on the innocent Malaysians in the like of RPK, Hindraf 5 and others!
Boo…sama dia!
A puppet controlled by a political party bent on claiming that everything under the Malaysian sky were theirs and theirs alone, despite claiming to be religious and God fearing. What more could Malaysia ask for?
What do the average Malaysians, whether malays, chinese, indians, kadazans, bidayuh, ibans, etc., could expect in the future if that trend continues?
Only God knows.
he didnt organise the open house.. it was clearly sponsored by big tycoon.. what he has to do is show up his pathetic face and shake hands with the public.
Abdullah’s rhetoric was simply to glorify himself. Now he is paying back for his failure to make good his pledges. Time for someone, definitely not from within UMNO, to take over…a change for Anak Bangsa Malaysia!
Abdullah has had many chances to salvage his premiership. Unfortunately he did not make full use of these chances.
I believe that the main mistake he made which caused his downfall is instead of trying to win the approval of the rakyat in his administration, policy and decision making, he wanted to win the approval of UMNO members (presumably to prevent party revolt) – that may well explain why he did not carry out reforms. Apparently Abdullah has failed to see that it is more important to win the approval of 27 million Malaysians than the approval of mere 3 million UMNO members because the rakyat are the actual customers and the real boss in politics.
In sharp contrast to Abdullah, Anwar was smart to win the hearts and minds of the rakyat; he knows once the rakyat agree and give the green light, his subordinates will have to budge and they will not revolt against him. He is fully aware that the rakyat have the final say in politics not party members.
Not only is the PM a nut case; the whole cabinet is the same!
Is it any wonder that this country is a mad house with these people in power.
Uncle Lim, I think that the PR must take over as soon as possible; any delay is fatal!
In this case the end justifies the means!
I bet all my money that Idiot’s message was written by someone else and Idiot’s job is to just read it aloud verbatim without thinking. In fact he acts more like a de facto PM than a real PM.
These are called empty platitudes. They are like advertising jingles – nice to hear, and calculated to make the listener buy the product.
But like most advertising jingles, it’s all falsehood and insincerity at best and a con job at worse.
Unfortunately for the ordinary citizens, it seems likely the purveyor of these empty platitudes has neither the intention nor the capability to carry out all these nice sounding, inspiring actions.
http://kickdefella.wordpress.com/2008/09/30/we-know-what-dollah-does-this-raya/
Read this and make up your own mind…
It is a terrible misfortune to have that idiot as our PM.It is really disastrous to be ruled by Umno and Beend for 51 years.Be quick PR,the end justifies the means, make sure the crossovers work and implement the ‘sky change’ asap for the sake of the future of Malaysia.
Uncle Lim KS,
This is what the PM said in Bernama:
“I wish to emphasis here the fact that this country belongs to all of us, every one of us. No citizen is recognised as being of a higher status than another in this motherland,” he said.
LIP Service only.
The Fact is that look who are in top rank of Government Service Sectors. Can we put it in to details. Who get this project and that project. Are the Gov.’s projects equally distributed to all races?
What about religion? Can all religion be allocated with landed land equally or at least base on its members?
What about resources of this beloved country, is it equally used to develope every region or state?
What about being PM of the country, is it means for certain race and other races NOT forever?
More and more questions could be asked, but I better STOP asking since this beloved LAND is “blessing” from GOD. God will be the last resort to complained with.
Let those entrusted by God – manage the LAND properly, equally and fairly.
Pak lah is as good as gone, why bother mentioning about him? Let’s see if PR delivers what it has promised when the time comes.

Breaking News!!
AAB just launched a new corridor!!
It is known as the “EXIT CORRIDOR”. It will be the corridor to facilitate the exit of sleepy PMs, SIL, “ISA” ministers, Recycled Politicians, Suspended UMNO politicians reaapointed as Advisers, Kris Wielding politicians and Mongolian model murderers.
This is guaranteed to be a success because all Malaysians will support it.
He will qualify as “Bapa Penipu”. Lets give him this award in a banner.
DSAAB is the typical example of a leader who promises a lot but delivers little. He seems to have forgotten all his promises, like a man suffering from amnesia. Anyway, his days are numbered. The sad thing for us is there seems to be no good leaders in sight to lead the country. Perhaps PR can change our fate.
ctc537, I thought he were speaking of DSAI :^)
Badawi’s days may be numbered so he should just leave and not try to foist the next UMNO leader as Malaysia’s PM without the proper protocol.
Ironically we can learn a lot about democracy from the Israelis.
http://malaysiawatch4.blogspot.com/2008/10/malaysiakini-lesson-in-democracy.html
As long as UMNO doesn’t punish their own members who are racist or speak racial remarks, more and more of their members will continue this trend. Whoever is PM who can reprimand these members will win the heart of all Malaysians but this person will face the rebut of the division leaders who will decide who will become their President and later become PM.
In our current situation, UMNO is the controlling power in BN and the President becomes PM. So the person who desires to become PM has to toe the lines of its members. Look at him (AAB) on how he dealt with Ahmad and the late Zakaria. They are division heads and he went out of the way to protect them as he needs their votes. We all can see that Penang UMNO divisions are supporting him as a payback.
However if there is a choice of other parties who can become PM and there is no certainty that UMNO President can become PM, then UMNO will think twice as there is a choice. UMNO is so arrogant as they think they are always in control and in power. This is not so as PR is catching up and Malaysians have a choice now to choose the PM other than from UMNO. It is like business. If you have a choice you will always choose the one that gives you good service and quality products. You don’t want second best. So UMNO needs to wake up in order for their President to become PM.
He hears us not, yet he hears darn well of things he wants to hear!!
The last thing he wants to listen to before he leaves is the poetic sound of rotors. Yes, the sound to rotor blades from the Eurocopters he ordered. He’ll be so happy feeling like he just woke up from a ‘liquid-dream’ that he’ll just walk right into the spinning blades.

==========================
You see, that’s the problem.
Ahmad Ismail hears that and says to himself.. “Ah Malaysia belongs to ME!”
Toyol hears that and says “Yes, yes, I know. Malaysia saya punya”
Every racist NEP dependent Tuan in Malaysia also thinks that “Tentulah saya mesti dapat 101% bantuan dari kerajaan. Negara ini kepunyaan saya dan saya seorang. Saya berhak sebagai Tuan”.
Dear Uncle Lim KS and bloggers
Just to recall your memory about what AAB said in his poetry before he became PM :
Aku cari bukan harta bertimbun-timbun,
Untuk hidup kaya,
Aku cari bukan wang berjuta-juta,
Untuk hidup bergaya,
Aku cari bukan kawan-kawan,
Untuk hidup sekadar berfoya-foya,
Aku cari mana dia Al-Ghazali,
Aku cari mana dia Al-Shafie,
Kita bongkar rahsia kitab suci,
Cari pedoman
Kita bongkar rahsia sunnah nabi
Cari panduan
Aku hidup kerana Dia Rabbi
Dialah teman
Dialah wali
Dia mencukupi
Aku hidup bererti
Menikmati damai abadi
Oleh:- DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI
(Sajak ini dideklamasikan pada Malam Puisi Utusan ke-10 9 Mei 2003 Auditorium DBKL)
As such, I support Blogger Mr. Smith to qualify AAB as “Bapa Penipu”.
He came, He saw, He squandered…
How he wasted it all…
This is what sums up BADAWI…
B- Bad – Below a standard of quality.
A – Apathy- Lack of emotion or interest.
D- Dumb – Lacking in intelligence.
A-Ass – One deficient in judgment and good sense.
W-Wobbly – Lacking stability.
I-Ineffective – Not having the desired effect.
But one thing he did right,
it was to make me vote against BN …
We look forward to a New Malaysia…
We look towards the fall of UMNO & Racism…
I believe it will happen…
Aman
YB Kit,
Confirm 100% BAPA PENIPU MALAYSIA,wht ever he says its a big lie.Starting from his marriage, dissolving parliment, petrol hike its all a big lie.He has no leadership quality, dignity, honesty, overall he is a gone case.
All of you really got it wrong, and have misunderstood the PM.
The PM said very clearly that “This country belongs to all of us, everyone of us” and that “No citizen is recognized as being of a higher status than another in this motherland.” The PM actually mean the following “This country belongs to all of us (Umnoputras), everyone of us (Umnoputras)” and that “No citizen (Other than Umnoputras) is recognized as being of a higher status than another in this motherland.” Please correct me if I am wrong because everytime this PM makes a statement like that I feel like puking. Please don’t make me puke.
“This country belongs to all of us, everyone of us”. AAB.
Who is ‘us’?
Surely it cannot be the non-Malays because they are not allowed be Chief Justice, AG, IGP, University VC, Mentri Besars, Chairman of GLCs, DOs, Municipal/District council Presidents, Ministers of key portfolios and even principals of elite schools or entry into UiTM.
If Ahmad Ismail, Khir Toyo and Utusan Malaysia can keep mocking at non Malays and get away with it, what can he possibly mean by ‘us’.
Again this sleepy flip flop lame duck guy trying to con the rakyat again and again with his speech. Just look at his stupid face when he mumbled. He thought he is still popular with the large crowd at the open house. Actually, they are there not only because for the “free makan”, I repeat “free makan” but also to witness “LIVE IN PERSON” our great sleepy, flipflop and lame duck guy actually is.
By now they must be laughing like crazy deep in their hearts.
Having such a guy running the country they mast also be crying “Oh my god, please……..save Malaysia NOW!!
There’s an article in Malaysiakini entitled:
“Taib family’s CMS to benefit from new dam project.”
How many more family members of our ruling elites have benefited from various projects while citizens are asked to weather the economic gloom? Whose brothers, nieces, sons, daughters are the owner of which monopolies?
Our ruling elites are shifting attention of citizens from their self-enrichment by making wildly accusation about Teresa.
In 2004 election, the rakyat who were frustrated with Mahathir leadership decided to give Badawi a huge mandate to govern. The rakyat has a high hope for him to reform Malaysia into a fair, non-racial and a true democracy country. I too had voted for BN because I felt that with a religious background, Badawi will at least be a fairer person compared to Najib or the rest of the UMNO leaders. But I was wrong because Badawi is such a weak leader that not only he had failed to reform Malaysia he had also turned himself into a lame duck PM. He had painted himself in the eyes of the rakyat as a big liar, a sleeping beauty and an unfair person. UMNO members and leaders under his leadership are above the law. Punishment be it ISA or seditious act are only meant for those who opposed the government and for the opposition leaders. ISA has been changed into INTERNAL SAFETY ACT to protect innocent malaysian like the Sin Chew reporter whereles rascal like Ahmad Ismail have been let free to do more harm to malaysian. Words like he is the PM for all malaysian and he has big ears for Malaysian are only tipu helah dia. In the end Malaysian especially the non-malays do not trust him anymore and decided to vote against him and his party and alliance. In short Badawi has squandered his chances to be a good PM of Malaysia. I wish him farewell for the sake of the Malaysian.
Sorry to sidetrack.
Three catch dengue from tainted blood in Singapore
SINGAPORE, Oct 2 (Reuters) – Three people contracted the dengue virus after receiving tainted blood from a donor in Singapore, a doctor wrote in a letter published in a medical journal on Thursday.
Paul Tambyah, a doctor with the National University of Singapore, said in the letter to the New England Journal of Medicine that a 52-year-old repeat blood donor, infected with dengue, had passed the virus on to three people.
“To our knowledge, transfusion-associated dengue is quite rare,” wrote Tambyah. “This case illustrates the difficulties encountered when attempting to ensure a safe blood supply,” he added.
The contamination could undermine the image of Singapore’s modern health care system, which attracts medical tourists.
Mickey Koh, an official with the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) said that this case was the first case of its kind in Singapore.
“There are currently no available licensed test kits in the market to screen donated blood for dengue,” Koh said adding that the HSA is monitoring the situation…………..

For 51 years, we been dragged into racism subjects and other standard and rights issue, we have learnt to grow with all these impact… the best we have obtained are we are truly matured over al these plots from umno …
Now, we all can stand on our own two feet and call each other “brothers and sisters” without having umno to color all of us again … we all knew what Malaysia Malaysian can be and growing together in harmony means US ….
the hell with bn or umno … let them chew up their own kind as everyone in that boat are in greed and hunger for power … they are the worst kind of animals that this country could have as habitants …
who ever the pm from umno ..they all shared the same shit thoughts and evil greed , hiding behind their own version of Islam … claiming to defend for the Malays …. shitting around and causing national unrest …. abusive of authorities with their own relatives holding important post in the government regime … they thought that they have control all of us …successfully ..

He’s the “fairest” (skin colour-wise) PM in Malaysian history, due to heavy consumption of skin whitening products
YB Extremely aptly written & very accurately expressed article. Syabas.
This shameless hulk of a so-called human who practises not what he preaches is ????? He is in denial alright; he denies that he is wrong & feels betrayed by the voters who yelled out his faults & sins & crimes in no uncertain terms.
Seriously should someone get him to consult a psychiatrist, you know, a head shrinker? He must be raving mad & crazy to behave the horrible way he does. Let us hope that this scourge of MY is get rid off asap.
All said and done, AAB was never prime minister material at all. Period!
Zz This country belong to all of us zz. Somehow the brain and speech were disengaged and in autopilot mode again.
I have NEVER ever seen a TV wish from any PM that is so………. Monotonous! Dead on energy level, cannot finished one paragraph of reading – the film crew must have edited it so many times, the best part, even his wife was amused and so pathetic! For a while, its like addressing a funeral on behalf of the entire party.
Surely, the title “Bapa Penipu” cannot be wrong. Shame shame
YB, you don’t have to call ahmad ismail datuk seri ahmad ismail. just ahmad ismail will do because he don’t deserve the respect. AAB even scare to death (his political career) by this fella…btw, keep writing to alert the people more.
Do u still trust his words? this is the well-known on-going lieing PM
Badawi is not a PM for all. He is not a PM at all.

All this vanished into thin air?
Thanks
Looks like all AAB’s bags are packed and he is ready to go.
When AAB finally goes, we must thank him – for being not as nasty and cruel as MM, for opening the eyes of many kia si voters to have the courage not to vote for the BN but to vote for the opposition, and for playing his part in the destiny of Malaysia!
as what i said earlier,if samak could be charged by doing a tv cook show to promote local cuisine, phucklah should be prosecuted for misusing the rtm to promote hadhari, right or wrong?
such a joker could be malaysian PM,i think,TDM had successfully turned malaysia’s politic into a comedy!

PM Abdullah Badawi may not be the PM for all Malaysians but it is not too late to be Gorbachev of Malaysia. That is to allow peaceful transition of power to PR if we have the number. He will be remember as PM that allow Malaysia the second Merdeka that we truly and badly need at this point of Malaysia.
His iconic phrase: “It’s only words, and words are all I have, to take your rights of equality and freedom away”.
All his sound & fury means nothing.
His words speak louder than action.
He doesn’t mean what he said.
He has proclaimed to all Malaysians that he is fair & just but he consistently discriminates against all except the UMNO-Putras who can do no wrong.
One standard for the UMNO-Putras and another for the rest.
Beware of the bigots in the party who preach Malay supremacy. There’ll be no end of the problems faced by true, peace-loving Malaysians if these warped minds are allowed to propagate their belief that their race is superior to all others. Makes you think of Teutonic superiority in Nazi Germany under Hitler. And it makes you think of the gas chambers. Think of the Ku Klux Klan, the Brown Shirts, the Red Guards – and is there a similarity among the Rela members? Think of Apartheid – but practised in a very subtle way here. Think of Serbian bigots Radovan Karadzic and his henchman Ratko Mladic. We want a Malaysia deprived of all these bigots. We are all the same – brown, white, yellow or black.
As early as the 1920s, Prof. Bob Park, after conducting research among the Negros and Whites in Chicago, found that culture determines the attitude of the Negroes or any American. That put paid to the earlier theory that race was the determinant.
That theory was found to be mounted on prejudice, pure prejudice and ignorance. Genetics was out and culture was in, according to Bob Park.
Then in the 1940s, we had Adolf Hitler who talked about Aryan (racial) superiority with his battle cry of “Deutcheland Uber Alles” “or Germany Above All.” He died in the bunker.
In the 1960s, we had Enoch Powell who talked about a river of blood if Asian (Pakistani) migration into the United Kingdom was not stemmed. He was summarily knocked out of the British system.
Back in Malaysia, a (1) Singapore-trained medical doctor Dr Mahathir Mohamad wrote “The Malay Dilemma.” It was banned, although we Malaysians were not told the reasons. After Dr Mahathir assumed power as prime minister, he caused the ban on his own book to be lifted.
And this medical doctor used his race-is-determinant theory, outdated easily by more than 50 years, to implement development plans for Malaysia during his 23 years in power.
People like (2) Islamic Studies graduate Abdullah Badawi, British-trained Najib Abdul Razak (4) Singapore-trained Dr Ling Liong Sik, (5) draughtsman-turned architect Samy Vellu, (6) Irish-trained Dr Lim Keng Yaik and (7) American Ph.D (Education) holder Dr Koh Tsu Koon got sucked in by this half-past-six theory for all those years.
It is significant that Singapore and UK-trained political scientist Musa Hitam did not buy a bar of it. So also British-trained Tengku Razaleigh.
Now, let me ask: Can we trust these seven so-called eggheads? Or shall we throw eggs on their head when we next see this Half-Past-Six Seven and their Half-Past-Six Leader?
we got here is guy can be a good example of a loser,
a wannabe but do not have the prerequisites
work with me, not for me
he seems to have mislead everybody,
rhetorics and word playing
bold statements but lacks substances
work with me for our nation
work with me i never let you down
work with me or else
work with me if not who else
work with me because i have an idea how we can be successfool.
work with me because i know what you need
work with me because i have the answers
work with me because i have the support now
work with me because i have the mandate
work with me not for me but my visions
works with me not for me but my influences in the ioc
work with me not for me but my sil
work for me not for me but my cronies
….you can have all the permutations you like
how is this
i am at your service, i await your command.
master what can i do for your today
famous one but this speaker died before his term ended
ask not what i can do for you, ask what you can do for your nation….
notice the words I and me
ego signs not leadership sign
mein kampf ….mein also means “my”
it all about the self, intrisickly ..how is this “everyone of you revolve around me , what i say is only good for the nation, believe me, believe in me..” ///???
you also see this kind of implications in some of the blogger’s opinions

after reading kickdefella’s note on helicopter purchase,we now know as to why the change of portfolios. You had your submarines’ cut, now I should have the helicopters’ cut! I wonder how much of this cut is allowed to permeat down to all those ‘warlords’ as some of you called them! That they blindly accepted all these swindlings to continue? I would like some experts to compare the pros and cons of the two models of helicopter mentioned and post it in this site for all to know the truth.
One thing that we cannot dispute without him the Parti Rakyat would not have gain ground. If he has acted similar to the previous PM we wouldnot have the chance to heard thing from the open ceramah that being held during the election campaign 08/03/08.
I can be very sure that the next PM from BN as a result of the UMNO transition shall not be able to accept that current political temper and shall have more politician arrested under ISA. If this is going to happen let hope that Makkal Sakthi shall become a reality.
UMNO control of the country is destine to end they shall have a mad dash for the control at any price even till the extent of putting the country into deporable state.
Given.
So what next? In the face of the impotence of UMNO-BN hegemony, what do right-thinking people do? Can Malaysian activism be equal to the majority pathetic apathy?
Someone writes AAB’s speeches and campaign promises and he mouths them without any intention or meaning. Rhetoric like “PM for all Malaysians” and “the country belong to all of us” are just empty words when nothing is done to back them up but on the contrary issues like Ahmad Ismail and NEP are left festering. He expects Malaysians of all races to support him based on his empty words alone.
Because he has promised so much and delivered nothing, his words are no longer trusted and he has become an empty vessel making noise.
It may well be true as KenyGan said that someone wrote AAB’s speeches and he mouthed them without any intention or meaning.
However even in normal times we should not take politicians’ words seriously, let alone in festive times!
Tell me which politician in BN (other than Pak Lah) whose words can be counted on? If none, then what about Pakatan Rakyat – Anwar’s claims of 9/16??????
It was a Hari Raya Message. It was meant to convey a feel good sentiments for a joyous occasion; it was meant to convey hope even if there was none, so why ought we to take such political message so seriously as to analyse or contradict it or expose it as a platitude that it is and mostly has been? Surely the PM could not be expected to say on Hari Raya “this country belongs to only some of us higher than the rest” even if that were true.
A festival by definition is an occasion for celebration in honour of religious, national or historic event commemorated. Festivals are supposed to meet specific needs and provide entertainment. It is these times of celebration one tries to foster a sense of belonging in respect of disparate social, cultural, racial or geographical groups even if in other normal times one seeks to divide and rule these groups for political purposes!
Rightly or wrongly 40 Anti ISA activists and HINDRAF supporters went to PM’s open house in PWTC calling for the repeal of the Internal Security Act (ISA) and the release of all detainees under the ISA.
The visibly amused PM shook hands and greeted these unexpected visitors, smiling throughout, shaking hands, exchanging small talk with them.
Are we to read into the PM’s seemingly amiable and friendly response, a sympathy or an understanding that will make him consider doing something to review the ISA and release of the detainees? Fat hopes!
So there is a make belief carnival atmosphere in such occasions.
We ought not to take gestures and messages seriously on such festive occasions that seriously. It is not the right occasion for such serious issues.
Well at least his words and his actions are always consistently inconsistent.
No matter how you look at it, the current government has failed its people. Never has M’sia been in such a dire situation where the government is clueless about the direction it wants to take. The DPM said during the PP by election that BN contributions are limitless. Such is the ‘sweeping statements’ tactics so often used by our BN politicians that it has no sting anymore. The reason why he used such statements is prove that there really was no contributions made by BN aside from all the disasters that they are now propagating.
About his words and his actions being ‘consistently inconsistent’ – whilst we are justified to be harsh about that, maybe we should temper our harshness by the following mitigating factor:
ABB’s rhetoric and many ‘feel good’ inspirational statements have lifted and set free and higher the sights and expectations of many Malaysians that certain things are possible (which under an authoritarian, strong and decisive leader like TDM), they were not possible.
If we think he talked cock he also provided the milieu – the democratic space (in relative terms to his predecessor) – by which everyone also joined in to talk cock in blogs, NGO’s statements, even MSM like The Sun has been bolder and been served a show cause…..
In response to NudeGate, BotakGate, there was this IPCMC, in response to Lingam video clip, there was this Royal Commission of Enquiry etc.
True nothing significant came out of all these from the government’s side to institutionalise the IPCMC or Judicial Reforms by the Judical Apointments Commission – but something happened in the rakyat’s part of the equation : they get dissatisfied, unfulfilled as if induced with hunger but with no food!
By failing to match words by actions, talk by walk – by raising hopes and expectations of rakyat that he has no reasonable prospect of fulfiling – he has “accidentally” set “benchmarks” and galvanised large sections of rakyat to vote against the ruling coalition that has ruled the country for 50 years for failing to meet these benchmarks, helping the Opposition to break the BN’s invincible two third parliamentary majority and seizing 5 of the states which contribute the greater part of the country’s GDP!
This is no small feat on ABB’s part, achieving indirectly by his inaction what greater action by others could not achieve.
The UMNO’s warlords and power brokers are so convinced that if he were to stay a trifle longer he would actually place Anwar in Putra Jaya that they immediately now seek to truncate and cut short his 2010 transition plan.
I think for all his failings, we should cut his some slack for these reasons.
He could not by action match his words to bring change but he could, by inaction mismatched by words, almost bring a change of government in last general election that his party power brokers/warlords are now set to stop him from continuing in his course.
Would we prefer him replaced by others in his party, if so by who?
No, we don’t want to see him replaced by another member of the den of thieves.
Incompetence begets incompetence, so we should not be an apologist for Badawi. He is simply incompetent.
Well what is the point in not wanting to see him replaced by another member of the den of thieves, when that is going to happen anyway, and we cannot get him replaced by person of our or your choice?
Within such limitations to have a so called incompetent person on the opposite side may be better than having a competent one, especially competent and effective in protecting the system of Mahathirism.
“This country belongs to all of us, everyone of us”
“No citizen is recognized as being of a higher status than another in this motherland”
Lies, nothing but more lies! Just like Rukunegara:
KEPERCAYAAN KEPADA TUHAN
KESETIAAN KEPADA RAJA DAN NEGARA
KELUHURAN PERLEMBAGAAN
KEDAULATAN UNDANG-UNDANG
KESOPANAN DAN KESUSILAAN
or
BELIEF IN GOD
LOYALTY TO KING AND COUNTRY
THE SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION
THE RULE OF LAW
COURTESY AND MORALITY
Mein Kampf is translated as “My Struggle.”
I have a copy of that book. It is a collector’s item.
Please everyone…forgive this incompetent PM. He will definitely be remembered as the worst PM in Malaysia. Perhaps the next in line will help his historic status SHOULD the transition be successful. Anyway, we should be like AAB…Don’t worry, be happy.
yes,TDM had succeeded in making malaysia a political comedy country!
by appointing a ‘niceman’ to be his successor,TDM had succeeded in making malaysia a political comedy country!
In our leader hari raya speech he minta maaf zahir dan batin, we rakyat malaysia may maaf him for:-
1. squandering our country
2. making a mockery of our whole legal system
3. using the draconian ISA to imprison innocent rakyat and
carried out selective persecution
4. komplot with his henchman tried to reignited the racial tension
which on seeing this opportunity our great Tun tried to explode
it into a replay of 513 so as to seize power.
Well, during this auspicious moment of adilfitri the rakyat might maaf him but the guy above the great god will be watching and all this foul play will be pay by the flame of neraka.
To add on to the above I think god will also not forgive him for using religion as a to for hie means. Using religion as an excuse to imprison somebody under ISA is totally unforgiveable. [7:87]
To zak_hammaad,
One good deeds for BN thank you for highlighting to us, but this good deeds is cut down by ISA king, the kerisman, the Penang Hillman, the Operasi Lallang Man, the young Undertaker at PP, the Kill small devil man, The Over Our dead Body man and the greatest C4/scopion man….Ha!ha!ha! wrestling in malaysia. Tks Zak but its insufficient to cover these guy bad deeds.
I wouldn’t just dismiss the Rukunegara as lies. It’s just that those power crazed politicians who run the government like dictators & tyrants are not even abiding by it either..
‘Mein Kampf’ – I once saw two copies of this book being sold in a Klang bookshop several months ago.
I thought to myself, “Yikes! Are there really neo-Nazis amongst us today in Malaysia?”
I finally got my answer when Ahmad Ismail made the news..
equality in malaysia, no more aparteid please…
///“This country belongs to all of us, everyone of us”. AAB.///
But only the selected few can steal.
“Praise be to God, we have been able to overcome every trial and challenge. It can be said that each of the challenges and trials has padded us with more maturity, and given the country more resilience and strength to march on,” Abdullah Badawi said.
God is too busy fighting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to want to bother looking at what’s happening in Malaysia!
There was so much hypocrisy in the speech I just changed the channel or turn the TV off whenever it is aired. It was a prepared speech obviously & not surprised he did not know what the hell he was reading or talking about. He has never meant what he says anyway. He will make it to the history books alright…as the worst PM ever for Malaysia since 1957.
I already predicted that there will be a big big purchase when he takes over as Def Min. The seat not even warm yet…an issue is made to replace the old Nuri helicopters…why don’t we change the old cabinet & put in some new clothes instead. That would save the country a lot more tax-$$$.
Prime Minister for all Malaysians is more likely to be a Prime Minister for the malays and so called islam hadhari.
