  1. Kit,
Dap should not seek apology from Khir Toyo.DAP should insist on the outcome of the police reports made against him whether there was any truth in Toyo’s allegation. If it is proven false ,prosecute Toyo for false reporting.
The family on behalf of Theresa should file a defamation suit against Toyo.
Alternatively,Can the State Government of Selangor make a representation to His Majesty the Sultan to establish a State Royal Inquiry to establish the truth of the Azan issue because a State Councillor of his Majesty was arrested on a false and insidious allegation.

  2. kit,
i would also like to suggest that a candle light vigil should be conducted at RPK’s house to show solidarity.Lest he is also forgotten,he happens to a beacon of hope to all Malaysian to be patriotic as a true Malaysian irrespective of creed and color.

  3. Folks, just a another gentle reminder,
I was directed by one of our bro or sis here in this blog to lend support to Teresa. Hope you’ll drop her a word of encouragement to her family too? Especially those who cannot make it tonight. Thanks

  4. I can see many parallels between the current regime and the British regime.

The British arrested dissenters under false pretenses, the government does that now.

The British stoked racial tensions to maintain power, the government is doing that now.

The British ignored the voice of the people that refused to work. The government is doing that now by refusing to acknowledge the growing sentiments.

It makes us wonder whether we are truly Merdeka, or are we still under the BN neo colonists ?

  5. You can’t wait for another one minute to get back to your cosy MB post, can you, Toyo? You wait lah, it will NEVER come your way again! You will be cast into the dustbin of history forever as another third world tribal leader.

  6. drmaharajahrk, Please don’t insult the British, you half baked. There is no deliberate attempt by the British to divide and rule. It is an invention by rightist historians and you are the victim.

You know what, we were merdeka once, now we are colonised. If you don’t get it, go back to school but make sure you have the right syllabus.

  7. O my dear drmaharajahrk Says:

I say, how can we Promote our Goment with British? Its a sin to put our Goment in the same league as British. The best benchmark is with Nyanmar, Zebawee, and the likes.

Pls lah, this Goment deserve nothing!! Shame to make any comparison.Remember this:
“BN is like a box of chocolates,
    Nice form the outside,
    Full of nuts inside”
Sound familiar? The only difference is these Nuts are laced with poisons!!! Period.

  8. Don’t we have enough evidence already to clear this corrupted government violating human rights, terrorising diplomatic rules and its constitution. As if we had agreed to be slaves or communism country instead of being independence weve been fighting for?!

“SECURITY COUNCIL SANCTIONS COMMITTEES: AN OVERVIEW.”

    • The Council has resorted to mandatory sanctions as an enforcement tool when peace has been threatened and diplomatic efforts have failed.

    • The range of sanctions has included comprehensive economic and trade sanctions and/or more targeted measures such as arms embargoes, travel bans, financial or diplomatic restrictions.

WE already to go this far, whats for the worse as we already living in hell!

  9. I agree with cinta Malaysia. The DAP should look into all avenues to redress the wrong done to Teresa Kok.

If the jerk Toyo the bottox man is behind this ugly charade, he must be brought to book and a multi-million ringgit defamation suit should be brought against him.

In fact if this moron Toyo is the cause of this miscarriage of justice, all efforts must be made to charge him for sedition. He is the instigator of the ‘azan’ issue. It is apparent he is following the way of the old goat in inciting the masses to lawlessness.

If the police has any sense of shame, fairplay or the guts to uphold the laws of the country, they should nab this Indon Toyo for sedition under ISA. Are they scared of an ex-MB?

Teresa Kok’s incarceration under the ISA sounds all too familiar with the usual sandiwara where the perpetrator of inciting racial hatred is scot-free but an innocent person is made to take the brunt of the biased police force.

  10. IF THERE is a racist Toyo to instigate, there must also be moronic police to act and the condescending national leadership to give its tacit approval. This is Malaysia, the land of the tribal people.

  11. What has my ADUN done that she deserves to be treated like this?? I’m living in an apartment just behind Theresa’s Office in Puchong. We have surau in the compound and 5 times a day, without fail, the azan will be aired.
If really Theresa wants to do it, she would have done immediately after being elected by us!!! Come on lar, so far, we have not receive any reminder, warning from her office, which is even not a stone throw away…

KT, kalau nak buat fitnah pun, sila gunakan kepala otak tu sikit.. Plot cerita dgn skrip drama kau tu, tak ngam lah!!! Siapa director ini movie?? Plot cerita, skrip kali nie sama bodoh mcm skrip dan plot cerita epol?? Pegi balik belajar lagi lar!!! Kasik org bangsa kamu malu aje!!

Theresa, we support you!!! Be strong and the truth will prevail!!

  12. I think DAP should pressure the police to investigate before putting Theresa to jail under ISA

Check out the time lime of events..
When did the residents petition to the mosque?
When did a copy came to Theresa?
When did Toyol make the report?
When did Dr. (PAS) make the report?
When did the police investigate Toyol’s report and decide to arrest?

If the time and dates do not tally, I suggest to sue Toyol and make him a pauper, otherwise put Toyol in jail for manipulating the police and system.

    Park lalh

  13. if the ahmad ismail guy can get scotfree(for ISA) by mild punishment by his party, why not release teresa kok,let DAP ‘punish’ her too?

    damn obvious double standard!

and till now,the PDRM still ‘investigating’ ahmad ismail’s seditious remarks!still ‘pimai-pimai tangtu’ on the ‘penumpang’ statement, and it happened on 23rd of August, meantime, another racist guy by the name TOYO lodged a police report against teresa, immediately they took action!!!

    we can not tolerate anymore!!!

  14. This Indon Toyo is nothing but an instigator and a moron of the first order. People like him should be packaged and placed on the shelf of has been.
When you talk of British divide and rule it is a figment of UMNO imagination. Isn’t this what UMNO is doing divide and rule. If we need talk of the British rule there are two sides to the coin. The good they brought to the country and evil they did. Why talk of history. Its over. Live for today and lets put PR in govt and hope for a better tomorrow. ITs a chance we have to take for future generations rather than be under the yoke of BN for another 50 years.

  15. Beside her in the midst of important meetings with business investors from Guandong China to bring in foreign investment into Malaysia, YB Teresa Kok will also be leading a team of civil servants from the ministry of agriculture; professionals as well as business groups to Taiwan next month for a REAL study trip which can bring about fruition of large amount of business deals and investment opportunities.

Syed Hamid, please do us Malaysians a big favour, don’t kill our national economy with your brainless logic. We demand you to set our YB Teresa Kok free IMMEDIATELY to the people!!!!!!

  16. botox man toyol shud be investigated by the polis for spreading malicious lies and defamation of character. And also by the ACA for currupt practices during his tenure as MB.Then Karpal and son Gobind shud sue him on behalf of teresa kok for what he is worth.Teresa, hang in there you will be free soon. You are deep in our thots.

  17. From de facto law minister Zaid Ibrahim –

“…….Commenting further, Zaid said: “I am very sad that people like Teresa, who I know personally, can be seen as a threat. I can’t see how a journalist doing her duty or even Raja Petra can be seen as a national threat.”

    ————
At last we have someone from UMNO who has kept his head held high with sense & sensibilty.

Syed Hamid, we the rakyat beseech you to stop this madness and release YB Teresa Kok and the much much much respected RPK IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!

  18. PM should be the home minister. But why in our country, this is not? U got someone who has been dealing with external parties and now u expect him to run internally? No wonder, upside down, inside out!

  19. My goodness our mind just cannot compute how in the world that 2 of the nation’s respected; honoured ; loved and supported people, A Malay and a Chinese – RPK & Teresa Kok are arrested under ISA & put behind bars for being a national threat.

Those who ordered the arrests are in fact the REAL THREAT to our national security!!!!

  20. would like to dedicate this special song to all especially to the home minister:
    Negaraku, tanah tumpahnya darah ku….
    Rakyat hidup bersatu dan maju….
    Rahmat bahgia, tuhan kurniakan…
    Raja kita, selamat bertakhta…

Shouldn’t that whoever sang this song started from kindergarten or darjah 1 be respected and treated as a rakyat?

  21. Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri (ISA) is a legitimate law in Malaysia that has been around since 1948 and thank to ISA, Malaysia has been free from devastating turmoils in the past 30 years. Section 73(1) Internal Security Act 1960 provides that “Any police officer may without warrant arrest and detain pending enquiries any person in respect of whom he has reason to believe that there are grounds which would justify his detention under section 8; and that he has acted or is about to act or is likely to act in any manner prejudicial to the security of Malaysia or any part thereof or to maintenance of essential services therein or to the economic life thereof.” Its aim is to maintain social stability of the country.

The ISA was created by the British primarily to deter the Communist Party during the colony time. There is no reason why it cannot continue to be used to deter any wrong doing by the Opposition Parties or individuals after Malaysia became independence, especially when the Opposition parties have gone out of control and tried to create fears and tensions in public, which gives rise to social instability. I would strongly suggest that the police continue to enforce the ISA whenever necessary and if the situation is critical they should extend the detention period beyond 2 years because 2 years of detention are seen widely as too short. Only when the detention period is increased people will take it seriously or else the country would be in turmoil from time to time. I would say if similar situation happens in China or India, the culprits would have been jailed for an indefinite period.

Condemning the ISA is only what Anwar and gangs could do now when the likelihood of what PR calls the Malaysia Day diminishes. Our leader has already said many times that Anwar’s plan to topple the BN’s led government is doomed to fail. Our MPs have already pledged loyalty to BN and it is time they show their gratitudes to BN. Please ask yourself, if you are already living in comfort with power and prosperity, will you be so idiotic to do idiotic things whereby to lose what you have now? There is no reason why these MPs should take the risk. I am happy that they are mature and smart enough to see which is the party that can help them advance in their political career. Most importantly, BN is able to bring real benefits to the people and not like PR, who could only give empty promises. 16 Sept is a joke because it will not happen and I have already said it before. Even if our respected PM Datuk Adullah Badawi steps down, there are plenty of smart elites in the party who can lead the country to another new height. With our esteemed Mr Khairy leading the charge and other experienced veteran politicians, BN can only become stronger. So the smart people knows which party to follow and it now proves we are right and Anwar is wrong.

  22. Kasim Ahmat “So the smart people knows which party to follow and it now proves we are right and Anwar is wrong”

oh, that’s why Bolehland did soooooooo well in the elections! What a joke…

If majority of voters (stupid ppl) voted for the opposition, count me up as one of them! Muslims and non-muslims will stand together for a new Malaysia… and then we’ll see who’s stupid!

  23. Mr. Kassim

Well said- that’s why one of the reasons that I have given the benefit of the doubt to AAB so far is that he has promised reforms- judiciary, police etc..

However , is he fully in control?

As the CEO, he cant control his managers? while his managers also plainly allow their field officers to blatantly make a mockery of common sense and natural justice?

The Ceo have the whole country at his disposal in terms of capable and uqalified people to assist him in the cabinet, he has to be strong to resist warlords who insist on plum posts but in the end, makes a fool of the CEO.

Mr CEO, u allowd the warlords to sidetrack ur reforms, they have hijacked the situation to suit their own greed.

We waited to see reforms since 2004 when u came in…there were but drips and draps..3 steps forward,2.5 steps backwards…

    show us more commitment..!

We wanted to work with you, walk with you..its just that u were surrounded by too many greeedy hangers on who diluted your attention to the real task at hand.. which is to bring Malaysia prosperity and peace!

Get rid of those hijacking your reforms..we want to see real work done on the ground- not only u just showing face at the lrt station or immigration counter after 3-4 years.

  24. Look at the bright side. After this may be Theresa Kok will become the Secretary General of DAP and the first female PM of Malaysia. Farfetched? Well, may be, but one’s destiny is not for the coconut head to determine.

I can see many parallels between the current regime and the British regime.
    ——–
    Dear friend
Where did learn your history from?
Yes, let’s compare between the two colonists.

    The British colonists:

    1. When they came to Malaya the country was in a state of anarchy. Warlords were killing one another for power. There was no Malaysia and there is also no Malaya. The country was composed of the Straits Settlements, the Federated Malay States and the Unfederated Malay States. Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan belongs to the Thais. Sabah and Sarawak was not even considered as Malay land. When they left they returned the country to the people that is 2 times the size of the original one. When Indonesia contested the formation of Malaysia, the former colonists came back and save Malaysia. In fact when the British colonists left many of the leaders were sorry to see them go. Do you think that if Malaya had not being colonised, there would be any strong warlord that could be able to integrate the the various territories into Malaysia?

    2. The economy and general development. When the warlords were busy killing one another, there were no development in agriculture, administration and infrastructure. The British introduce new crops like rubber and palm oil. During the civil war the population was only taught how to plant padi and fish in order to supply to the needs of the warlords. Another source of income to the warlords was piracy. The British build new roads and highways that cut across all states so that one can travel from the northern tip to the southern tip of the country without any hindrance. This was not possible when the warlords were in control. The British introduce an efficient Civil service that was corrupt free. Crime was rare as it was possible to leave one house and go to the market without even closing the doors. Modern education was introduced and this enlightened the people with new ideas and knowledge and also opened their eyes to the happenings around the world. Education during the warlord’s days was limited to religion and service to the warlords. In other word the population was made dumb and cannot questioned the action of the warlords.

    3. We enjoy more freedom during the British rule. If one can access any newspapers that were printed during this period you would find how vibrant the reporting were. Even General Gerald Templer was not spared from daily criticism from his critics. Definitely there was no Printing Act to hinder the newspaper industry. Even during the Emergency, there were no restrictions for political party to hold ceramahs. Even the Communist Party was recognised!

    4. Race relations were cordial and peaceful. Malay, Chinese, Indians, etc lived in harmony. You can witnessed this harmony in any of P. Ramlee’s film which reflected the nature of interrace relationships.

    The UMNOputra colonists:

    1. The country is going to the dogs. We lost an island to Singapore. Singapore itself was lost because of the UMNOputras. In time to come the rape of the country would be so advanced that they would be willing to sell Johore to Singapore.

    2. The UMNOputras destroyed the economy. They chased out those with brains but invite those that can only work in homes, plantations and construction for low wages. These immigrants depressed the wages of the lower income groups and they cause so much social problems. The government and the economy is run by incompetents and parasites.

    3. Interrace relationships is at a crisis point as engineered by the UMNOputras.

    4. More and more restrictive laws which were not found during the British colonist’s rule were introduced.

and so on … I could give more examples but I think it’s enough for the time being.

One more thing. When the British were in Malaya colonialism was acceptable at that time. But when the American colony rise to world dominance, colonialism became a bad word. So now in this modern era, the colonialism that is practised by the UMNOputras is far far worse than the British’s. The British built but the UMNOputras destroys

  26. Kasim Amat Says: “With our esteemed Mr Khairy leading the charge and other experienced veteran politicians, BN can only become stronger. So the smart people knows which party to follow and it now proves we are right and Anwar is wrong…”

If you don’t have the eyes to see the dire state of the Titanic, then dream on … and drown with them.
