Beware! Cavemen Working!

by M. Bakri Musa

The arrest under the ISA of Raja Petra Kamaruddin, editor of the hugely popular Internet commentary portal Malaysia-Today, together with journalist Tan Hoon Cheng and MP Teresa Kok, as well as the “show cause” letter to three newspapers expose the caveman thinking and behavior of those we have entrusted to lead our nation.

To think that this repressive action is being taken during our holy month of Ramadan! So this is the essence of Abdullah Badawi’s much-hyped Islam Hadhari!

I join millions of other law-abiding Malaysians in condemning this latest Neanderthal action of the Abdullah Administration in its callous disregard for basic human rights and dignity. Unlike many however, I am not shocked by Abdullah’s latest act. On the contrary, it is so predictable. Raja Petra himself commented on his imminent arrest a few days earlier in his column, as well as in an interview with the BBC.

After all, the only tool a caveman has is his club, and the only skill he has learned is to swing it around wildly. When that does not work, the only choice in the caveman’s thinking is to get a bigger club and to swing it even more recklessly, even at the risk of destroying everything around him, including himself.

The government had earlier blocked Raja Petra’s website, but when that proved ineffective (as mirror sites popped up immediately everywhere) as well as embarrassing (as it showed the government’s impotence and stupidity), the caveman in Putrajaya dropped his club and grabbed an even bigger one and began swinging it clumsily around.

Rest assured that no matter how big the club or how hard the caveman swings it, this “new” strategy will not work either. We no longer live in caves and Malaysians – our leaders excepted – have long evolved from our Pithecanthropus phase.

Contrary to the official portrayal, Raja Petra is not and never was a threat to the safety and stability of the nation. That major threat comes instead from those cavemen in Putrajaya. Through his highly influential website, Raja Petra has done a yeoman’s job bringing the sunshine into that dark cave, using his website as a massive reflector. Unfortunately its dim-witted dwellers, long used to working under equally dim light, found this sudden brightness blinding; hence they went berserk.

Raja Petra has successfully ran rings around the collar of the petty and inept Malaysian officialdom. I applaud him for his success; I applaud him even more as he relishes in doing so!

Earlier the government had directed its agencies to block access to Malaysia-Today. When that proved futile they reversed their decision. Now they arrested him under the ISA. What will they do next when they discover that too will fail? Some folks are slow learners, others like Abdullah and his minions never learn at all. Another feature of the caveman!

The Phenomenon That Is RPK

Raja Petra Kamaruddin is more than just an individual or a blogger; he is a phenomenon. His creation, Malaysia-Today.net, now has a robust life of its own. Through it Raja Petra has successfully ignited the passion for freedom among Malaysians. This fire is now burning bright not only at Malaysia-Today.net but also everywhere its sparks have landed.

Even if Abdullah could douse down Malaysia-Today, a major supposition given his demonstrated ineptness, he could never suppress this yearning for freedom among Malaysians.

Nor for that matter could anyone else. Raja Petra had made fools of the many who tried. There was the pompous lawyer Raja Petra reduced to wild exasperations, frothing in his mouth at being unable to serve legal papers upon Raja Petra. Deputy Prime Minister Najib and his wife Rosmah wisely chose not to engage Raja Petra in any legal tussle even though he had made some serious allegations linking her to the brutal murder of a Mongolian model.

Far from being cowed by the string of lawsuits, threatened and real, civil and criminal, Raja Petra is emboldened. The only way they could “put him in” was not through the normal judicial process of using the courts but by resorting to the brutish powers of the ISA.

Malaysian officials justify their use of this abominable statute by pointing out that even countries like America, Singapore and South Korea have some version of this law. This is a misreading. Those oppressive statutes in America do not apply to Americans, only to foreigners. More importantly, the statutes are being regularly and successfully challenged in the courts.

As for Singapore and South Korea, yes those countries are cavalier in their respect for the basic human rights of their citizens, but at least they have an efficient clean government and citizens have a high standard of living. Not a bad trade off, though not one I would willingly partake if I were to have a choice.

Malaysians on the other hand have to contend with a repressive, corrupt and inefficient government as well as a rapidly eroding standard of living. The worse possible combination!

Social Entrepreneur Par Excellence

Raja Petra is a social entrepreneur par excellence. An entrepreneur is one who sees the needs of the consumers and goes about fulfilling that need, using the available tools and resources. In the process he makes a tidy monetary profit, but also gains other non-pecuniary benefits like satisfaction in serving his customers. A social entrepreneur profits not in monetary terms but in the changes he brings about in his community. And Raja Petra has brought about enormous and irreversible changes to Malaysians and the nation.

To be sure there were many others who preceded Raja Petra. He was successful because he used the medium of the season, the Internet. Had he been contented to writing columns in newspapers, delivering sermons, or making political speeches, he would, like many of his predecessors have limited if any success.

It is this unique combination of the Internet and Raja Petra together with the peculiar situation existing in Malaysia today that has produced this phenomenal success. The peculiar combination I refer to is first, the atrocious standards and utter lack of credibility of the mainstream media that eased the acceptance of Malaysia-Today by Malaysians. The second is the foresight of Dr. Mahathir with his Multimedia Super Corridor initiative and its solemn promise of non-censorship that made Raja Petra and Malaysia-Today blossom.

Today we, Malaysians as well as non-Malaysians are the beneficiaries. Raja Petra’s being held under the ISA would not in any way diminish that luster. But then what do cavemen know of about luster or gold and platinum! To them those are nothing but rocks and pebbles!

Putting Raja Petra away will not put an end to Malaysia-Today and what it stands for. It is we the people that have made what Malaysia-Today what it is. The government would have to put all freedom-loving Malaysians in jail if it ever hopes to put a stop to this phenomenon that is Malaysia-Today.

  1. Deepest upset today.. What happen to Malaysia? Want to put everyone into the ISA…Is this a practice or what? Person who made “Pendatang” statement still enjoy out there but people who gave the truth been arrested.

I pray for those who had arrested under the ISA, may god bless them forever…

  2. Does it mean from now onwards we will see more sales, promotions, discounts , sports and leisure or maybe we would have more down to earth reporting to make purchases of the paper more meaning fool like more block drains and uncollected rubbish and smelly oxidation ponds and iwk woes.

    More sales and promotions …whoa…

Please guys be courteous on the roads we dont want break the record of another bigger and more terrific traffic jam.

it is only bye malaysia not buy malaysia.

  3. i still question who’s the one giving out orders and still refuse to believe that these are all badawi’s doings.

it seems a thought-out plan and only thing left is the execution. mca is offering legal services to help sin chew journo. if mca is really concern about the state of affairs in malaysia, the right thing a right minded person would do would be to desert umno.

deserting umno now would be the only choice left for the other 12 component parties of bn. anything short of that, they are part of the thought-out plan trying to get the sympathies and to regain lost faith in them.

i already hear some uncles and aunties at the pasar just now talking about mca offering help …. definitely a smokescreen. at the end of the short conversation, someone put things in perspective that if mca is sincere … leave umno … that’s the only way to bring back the sunshine ….

many ppl are still in a state of shock while few expected such a scene. raja botak petra saw it coming. i blogged about the dangers ahead. i mentioned that if there ain’t a change of government and if anwar and pakatan rakyat fails, the nation is doomed. 4 years and we are all dead meat.

    now or never ……

  4. where is the freedom of media when a reporter who was only doing her job is now arrested for reporting a public figure giving racist remarks? why is dat datuk ahmad ismail not arrested for making such remarks? we must not report any truth if its pertaining to a BN person i suppose…

  5. The country is in the mess now
The double standard used by UMNO and BN is obvious

Even a makcik in the kampung will figure out this is NOT right

Like YB said, these people in Putrajaya never learned
    They REFUSE to learn
    They prefer to be cavemen

Behold to all cavemen, there will be more lights shinig into the cave!!

  6. If 916 doesn’t work out, we ALL have ONE definite way to change our government – our ballot. The problem is with all that is going on, if 916 doesn’t work out, will we EVER SEE another another General Election? Never have I seen utter panic in trying to hold on to power. Surely this is a sign that person(s) in the ruling party have lots to lose and will fight to the last breath.

  7. in the older days of m see hair, when there is a meeting , bus loads of aunties and uncles arrived to the venue from nowhere to add quorum.

Innovativeness in m see hair is near to nothing, using the simpliest source to disseminate their agendas, other than those aunties and uncles who are aware of what is happening , a free meal and gathering and fairs are very accomodating for them. They have struggle so hard and have not much time left , what the hell their though may be …leave it to the younger generations, I am here for the fun and fair. A little nonsense and nosie from the stage is okay as long as the food keep coming.

It is clear m see hair wants to be the angel who came to the rescue. It is orchestrated lah, many of this is seen in our primary schools days.
But on ther hand it does not matter if it is an old trick but as long as it works it is a good trick.

    Hahaha
    Praying god huh….pray yourself lah
stuck in the mud …get down and push the cart lah

  8. The comments on blogs reflect one thing – largely the arrests does not make sense to most people!! Its not about politics, its about pure logic. There does not seem to much of it..

Why in god’s world arrest Sin Chew reporter and Ms. Kok when the case is actually very very bad. There is not even a modicum of a case!!!

I initially thought OK, its because they want to placate the Islamist and right-wingers just as the top leadership is being challenged. But this don’t make sense either. They are not going to be placated and in fact strengthen the case of the agitators like Dr.M and Muhiyiddin that the top leadership is just weak and lost to do something so stupid..

The conspiracy theorist say that this is the agitators doing meaning that the PM signed off on it without knowing the agitators are behind it? Is that even possible?

Or that this is a prelude to throwing everyone including Dr. M is jail? That put the PM in the same boat as the crazies.. even Dr. M himself would not pull something like that…

No this whole thing makes no sense. It sounds of just plain stupidity OR the top leadership has lost control of the govt. We have an internal security threat but its not RPK, Kok or Tan or the papers. Its within the govt itself…

Be sure that the majority share the same concern. The road ahead is long and arduous. Torturous even, no thanks to all the so-called components of the ruling BN. I spare them the right word ‘complicity’.

We are in the eye of the storm, and when it blows over (for it must end soon) with a whimper , we shall see clearly the destruction wreaked by the cavemen, and we shall not spare those who have a part in the action. WE shame them in the postmortem.

These shall walk among us with heads bending low, like the god Mammon. He walks with his head bowed, looking at the gold in the pavement, and not the magnificent sight of a gold paved pathway. They are a little too late!

Let us be reminded that we have to continue to build and not be held to ransom by the few who indicated that they will cross over – I have my doubts. Why? To date they have not found the courage to stand up each alone and say that he/she will cross over NOW. Each is weighing how much would the personal loss be – nothing to do with how much gain for the nation. The only ggod I see in them is the sacking of the BN, not what they could do besides.

Let us get our own elected MP in the next round of voting.

  10. Why is it that Malaysia is such a stupid country where the person committing the crime is deemed innocent but informers of such crime are convicted for sedition? Stupid Ahmad who is so arrogant has been let off the hook with just a suspension of 3 years UMNO membership but the journalist reporting his “speech” is now convicted under ISA?

  11. Quote:- Law of the Garbage Truck

“One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!

The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly.

So I asked, ‘Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!’

This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call ‘The Law of the Garbage Truck.’

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they’ll dump it on you. Don’t take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.

Don’t take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the street.

The bottom line is that successful people don’t let garbage trucks take over their day.

Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so…

‘Love the people who treat you right. Forgive the ones who don’t.’

Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

  12. Lets all work towards making Malaysia a better place. Lets wish for good to happen to ALL races. If we all want whats for the best, it WILL happen!

The collective will of the people through our prayers will have the desired result. We must wish only for good!

  13. Don’t blame them, folks. This is the only ISA (Weapon) they have in time of desperate. ISA treats all of us as small kids (or even worse) that don’t know how to think rationally. Heaven has an eye on what is happening on this lovely bolehland and let wait and see what will happen to BN especially 916 is coming. Don’t tell me that DSAI and his team will also be detained under ISA so as to ensure survival of BN …., I can’t imagine if this happen.

  14. Dear YB Lim,

Please impress on your PKR partners especially Anwar, no more chest thumping and drum beating about Sep 16. If you have what it takes, just shut up and do it as soon as possible. The cornered dog has bared its fangs, be wise and move quietly from now on.

  15. We are angered beyond comprehension…
But the leaders in UMNO just don’t care…
They just wanna be the hero to placate their divisions before the AGM…
Tunjuk “TERROR”… to see lagi garang… tak perlu munasabah…
Siapa “TERROR” dia menang… what kind of mentality (CAVEMAN)

Satu dunia ketawa sama kita Malaysia…
Mana lah boleh kita jadi bangsa maju…

Sudah jadi third world mentality… or even worse
    Ekonomi merosot…
    Kebebasan merosot…
    Keamanan merosot…
    Arena Politik merosot…
    Semua merosot…

Ya Allah… Selamat kan lah kami orang Malaysia…
Ini bumi bertuah… sudah jadi bumi baruah…
Tolong kami… bantu kami… Jangan kami di jadikan yatim piatu…

  16. The basic problem in Malaysia is that we have mixed up business with politics and often I think people have used politics to grow their business via contracts and other loony deals where mega-leakages occur.

That has worsened the quality of politicians who now think of their bottom line and not policy matters.
I think the PM’s hand has been forced – apart from Rafidah and a few others, many leaders from UMNO are openly questioning the transition plans.

So if BN parties desert now, AAB will be forced out in December and who knows what the next leader will do? Now BN can support his reforms and hope the cross-overs do not happen.

    http://malaysiawatch4.blogspot.com/2008/09/even-as-we-remember-911-malaysiakini.html

  17. Surely PR didn’t expect BN just to sit back and see their whole house crumble on 916, right?

When threatened, chaos needs to be created, and ’emergency’ powers needs to be instated. We went through this before, and this must be something already planned for.

A lot of dust and storm is being created and the plan now is that in the midst of the storm, the enemies’ (PR)’s army is divided — and one can then conquer.

And you know BN … they have the cheat codes to this game. They are not going to fight fair.

  18. Malaysia is lawless!
When they have to use ISA to arrest people, all the laws are utter nonsense. Charge them in court if you have proof. Otherwise release them. To use ISA means you have no proof.
All Malaysia, ISA has to go. Keeping ISA means Malaysia will not have progress. When Malaysia loses, in the eyes of all other nations, every one loses, including all the racists.
In the modern world, it is worst than dictator, worst than Hitler.

  19. I am more convinced than ever the PM have lost control of his cabinet!!!

Two piece of news from Bernama:
    1) Zaid Ibrahim suggest Muhiyiddin quit or be fired
    2) Syed Hamid, the guy who did this, is backing Dr. M!!!

    This country is turning dangerous…..

  20. yes definitely prayers are the way to go. by the way should rosaries be used to have a multiplying effect and pray to which god? this is now not a religious issue that can be handled even by gods if they exist but a political issue and issues of govt where human beings of intelligence are on stage

  21. we support Teressa!Raja Petra and Reprorter Tan, what has Teressa said or did for being arrested under ISA? and Reporter Tan, she is preforming her duty, govt shd arrest Ahmad ISmail, pencetus isu perkauman, Ahmas Ismail is the one who had said those stupid words and many other reporters and DPM Najib was there as well. What kind of world here in Malaysia? upside down!

  22. Mr.Clean has become Malaysia’s Mr.Bean! The Journalist Tan Hoong Cheng is merely doing her job. What is actually said out is reported accordingly. The guy who started it only got suspended when he should also ‘Join’ in ISA.

  23. ‘Unlike many however,I am not shocked by Abdullah’s latest act.’. Bakri Musa.

Yes,you are right. It is to be expected for this bunch of goons has not got any idea of how to leverage our advantage in resources (both in terms of natural resources and manpower) and catapult this nation into the forefront of the goblised world.Instead the only skills they know is sticking their dirty fingers into the cooky jar with the full knowledge that all the institutions and dragonian laws are behind them to make their act ‘legal’.

  24. This is the story………. of a mother who informed the teacher that in case of her son bullying her fellow students just punish the students that were being bullied…….and most probably then her son would got scared and stop the bullying !!! This is exactly what the Botak and UMNO is trying to do ! Just keeping our fingers crossed that DSAI would be successful in 916 or 920 so that those “Goons” would have a taste of their own medicines !! Once in power, don’t abolish ISA yet, use them and flex the muscles for a while b4 abolishing those 19th Century laws ! Ooops sorry…..not 19th Century bit pre Cavemen times !!

  25. This is Dejavu. It is simply idiotic to go the same path(i.e.put the dissenters in the slammer)as what the gomen of TDM did some 10 yrs back.1st they charge DSAI again with sodomy and since not effective they started to round up all those with opposing views and invoke the ISA.
Jeez,is this the gomen we voted in who cant be creative enuf to at least charge DSAI(not that I approve) with say, buggery. At least it shows that the gomen is creative and not fall back on these same charges which joe public know to be flawed and which DSAI had cleared of.
May the force be wth us in our hour of darkness.

  26. it is a very sad day indeed when innocent people are sent away for telling the truth while idiots are allowed to spread hatred and crap throughout the country. i strongly believe that RPK was sent away because of the may 13 article stating what Najis have said and I quote “…when Najib Tun Razak, the Umno Youth Leader, raised the keris and threatened to bathe it in Chinese blood.” so why is it that we allow people like this to lead us?

most people in the country are suffering due to the high cost of everything. but the government is bank on spending money on iskandar or some other crappy buildings when they should be helping out the poor right now. when fuel was at 110 a barrel they raise the fuel price by 70cents (at 140 a barrel) then a lowered it down by 8 or 15cents when the fuel price has dropped to nearly 100. i believe in the last few days it was less than 100.

this just shows why we need a change. any change is better than this!! i feel that UMNO/BN have been hurting the country for far to long and its about time that the people of malaysia stand up and realise that we should all vote for the opposition. save our country from tyranny and oppression!!

  27. Wag the Dog: Made-in-Malaysia remake

Towards the closing days of 916, the public preview of a Made-in-Malaysia remake of Wag the Dog is getting global reviews. But apparently, there are claims that Hollywood stole the scripts to the original Wag the Dog that was written in Malaysia and was originally made in 1969, edited and remade in 1987.

In the latest remake, the story began on March 8 that saw a tsunami hitting the nation to the extent that the ruling party suffered its heaviest damage in its history.

  28. These 3 people are pawns used in this coup. They just want to make sure they have a ‘ace card’ style when they (the goons behinds this – TDM and gang) to bring PM down.

AAB is probably still clueless…as he is usual. Bet KJ is also going turn around on his FIL. You know…how this politics work yes?

Whats all this is is POWER STRUGGLE. There must be some kind of motivation for them to do this? POWER YES is one…whats another?

    Hmmm…….

  29. Yes and for RPK….if Najib comes into power (Lets say TDM has a change of heart la) then RPK sure will not be out. He will there also due to his remarks on the c4 rosmy style and hubby following her around behind her selandang.

Actually when i see these politicians on TV so very muak la.

Anwar…kota-kan your promise. God i only pray he is not doing a 360 on us as well. In all honestly there is no one we can depend on to handle our country and stir it out of EVIL DO-ers.

Future of this nation seems to be in a dark valley….

  30. Please do not lose your cool, for that is just what they want. Do not have any demonstrations & do not take to the streets.
Lastly pray to God. The truth will prevail. The Devil (UMNO) will be overcome!
ALL of us…Malays, Chniese, Indians, Eurasians & other Malaysians should now show UMNO that we know what “Bangsa Malaysia” is, that we will NOT fall into thier trap. They can “break our bones” but they will never “break our spirit”!
    God will help us!

  31. CHEDET!…. The mamak…

    I….

    KNOW….

    U…

    ARE…

    BEHIND….

    ALL….

    THIS….

    MESS….

BE WARN TO YOU AND YOUR SIBLINGS MAMAK ISMAIL…

    DON’T MIMIC AMERICAN JEWS…

SUGGEST YOU DO NOT USED THE MALAY RACE FOR YOUR POLITICAL GAIN, RAJA PETRA WAS THE REAL TUAN AS YOU AND AHMAD ISMAIL ARE FAKING EXTREMIST WHO DESPERATE FOR MORE!

  32. Kan…how old is Mahathir? He is just a crook all-in-all. This is the same fella who cried in front of the nation when he resigned. What a big kollywood show (kerala-bollywood). Sure has the genes la he!

And now his sons…they plundered the treasure of this country with all the bail outs…and still want more. Bet all Mamaks followers are very happy.

  33. So…the gloves are off…what you going to do….other then blog……you never achieve anything without pain man…….and sadly the people of Malaysia are docile….heck you can never get away with this in Japan, Korea or even Thailand…….it’s noteworthy that the Chinese and Indians are so easily bullied……but when it comes to UMNO, PKR, PAS it’s muted…..the sad fact is if it happened to PKR or PAS those buggers would have ripped Badawi’s throat by now……..as for the minorities…well….

  34. ” Ministers and leaders of MCA, Gerakan, MIC, SUPP and other Barisan Nasional component parties must demand in the Cabinet and requisition an emergency meeting of the Barisan Nasional Supreme Council for the immediate release of Tan and Raja Petra under the ISA as well as the withdrawal of the show cause notice issued by the Home Ministry to three newspapers as to why action should not be taken against them.”

    YB Lim

Your call above to MCA , Gerakan , MIC & BN parties is not going to work.I do you think UMNO will care about what these people are going to say.

I would like to propose YB to ask Gerakan and MCA top leaders to go to Tan Hoon Cheng’s house and talk to her parents. They most likely would ask Gerakan and MCA to leave the BN now until Tan is released. Tell Gerakan and MCA that they don’t have to join the Pakatan immediately , they can wait for the next move from UMNO and take more time to consider. They must just leave the BN now, otherwise Rakyat would treat them as part of the system of this wrong doing in using the ISA.

The general members of MCA, and Gerakan should just leave the parties if their parties are not leaving BN.

  35. It is a desperate and despicable act by UMNO to cling to power using religion and race to divide the peace loving Malaysians and destroy the country in the process.

In a desperate effort to cling to power, UMNO had used these people detained under ISA as scapegoats in their internal struggle and to shore up their fledgling malay support using religion and race as a medium. In the case of RPK and Teresa Kok, it was religion and for the journalist it is race.

In 1987 there was a massive internal struggle within Umno which moved Mahathir to attack exterior “enemies” in a massive Operation Lalang to strengthen his own fledgling position within UMNO. More than 100 politicians, social activists and religious officials were detained under ISA in Operation Lalang in 1987 over the same pretext of race and religion.

This time UMNO is facing 2 problems in one go. There is now an internal struggle within UMNO like in 1969 as well as fledgling support from the malay voters like in 1987. So their natural instinct is to apply a combination of draconian actions to solve their own internal problems.

Like in 1987, this ailing regime used the same modus operandi of making “exterior enemies” out of the slightest excuse to justify a Operation Lallang II to strengthen their own fledgling position with the malays. However flimsy the excuse, their intention is to make one race hate another and appease one race by arresting the other to shore up their own fledgling support!

These people held under ISA including the BN component parties are the pawns in UMNO internal strife!

  36. On 9-9-08, I blogged about the number 13. As at that date, the recurring number of times was at 4 and this number is inauspicious to many, especially the Chinese.

To recount the number of 13s occurring in Malaysia whereby each of them being significant in nature, let’s revise:

    1. May 13

    2. Badawi’s favourite number is 13

    3. There are 13 UMNO divisions in Penang (where the remake of Wag the Dog heightens)

    4. There are 13 component parties in BN

    5. September 13

To many numerologists, 5 represents FREEDOM. Is this what’s in store for all of us, anak Bangsa Malaysia? Yes, it will be FREEDOM for us all.

  37. ISA for speaking the truth!
    ISA for exposing corruption!
ISA for opening up the eyes of the rakyat!
RPK, Theresa Kok and the journalists, we are with you all in spirit. Our prayers that all of you are safe.
    Real Disgusting is the word!!!

  38. Sin CHew Daily website could not be acess today? why? is the MCMC shut it down? or heavy surfing traffic?

SIN CHEW DAILY , no fear and always remain professional in reporting the truth, we are backing u! we have 5 million Malaysian Chinese is backing u!

  39. Where is the rationale?

The UMNO monster has gone amok in modern time.

Nobody (UMNO) cannot be greater than the voters. As long as the enlightened voters rise to stop this amoking,

    we will win eventually.

    Down with the tyrant monster!

  40. The Gods have not heard your laments,Raven77 for if they have they would have goreng into the Malaysian population mix a 5% African Malaysian ingredient into it and that might probably be the cure for the malaise currently inflicting the country.Just look at America with just about 13% African American and the power welded by them!

  41. Now we need men and women from UMNO, MCA and Gerakan with a conscience to stand up for Truth and Justice.

If this can happen to innocent citizens, it can happen to them and their children as well.

Justice sees no colour, race or creed. It is universal.

It these parties do not come to the defence of Ms Tan and Ms Kok, then they deserve to be condemned in the strongest term. Silence means conscenting to the use of the ISA on innocent and harmless Malaysians who have done NO wrong!

Didn’t MCA say it would stand by the reporter?

  42. To all peace-loving Malaysians, please THINK. Why is Umno doing this? There is logic behind their actions, and we must understand the logic to address this challenge.

They know these actions will anger segments of Msian society (particularly non-Malays) and may trigger a chain reaction: first verbal attacks are made, Malay grassroot feelings are hurt, and their core support base – Malay grassroots, will unite behind their party in a time of distress as the champion of the cause.

Why, of the 3 people arrested, target 2 women? It becomes clear if you follow the above logic – provocation works best when you target those who will elicit the greatest sympathy. They WANT us to react this weekend, and the arrest orders were issued on Friday to have the greatest impact.

In this time of darkness, remember the spirit of MUHIBBAH. We are in this together, all of us, of all races. Malaysia will sink or swim as one ship. Let not the various political camps grasping for power use the Rakyat as pawns in their dirty game. PEACE.

  43. The acronym ISA can also be interpreted as “I Shall Arrest”.

Even if the real racist AI is arrested, it still does not justify the detention of the reporter who was merely reporting the true picture of the speech.

MCA and Gerakan, what are you waiting for???

  44. 1st…
    Racist Ahmad Ismail provocation…
    • Racist reference to the Chinese as “orang tumpang”,
    • Warning the Chinese in Malaysia not to mimic American Jews in seeking to control the country’s economy but also its political power.

    2nd…
    MAMAKTHIR COMES BACK!
    • “vice-president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as saying that Dr Mahathir had expressed his interest to return to the party.”

    3rd…
    PM surprised by Muhyiddin’s stand!…
    • “I am surprised a member of my Cabinet had come up with that kind of statement which goes against what has been agreed,”

    4th…
Najib: Let delegates decide on transition plan…
    • “On Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s impending return to Umno after quitting the party in May, Najib said the party had yet to receive his application(REMAIN HIDDEN PLOTTING ATTACK AGAIN PM SEATS).

    5th…
    • Raja Petra, Teresa Kok and Sin Chew reporter arrested under act of ISA.

IMHO… I would never believed PM AAB will go this far as he never do, “The Culprit Who Plotting All This Behind The Seen” are surely the man and the Creator of ISA and Dictator Himself Dr.Mamakthir who shows Very Obsess with his successor come PM AAB!

PM AAB I SUGGEST YOU PULL THE PLUG STOP THIS Mamak(TDM/AHMAD) PLOTTING UNREST AGAINS YOUR COMPONENT AND MIMICKING THE AMERICAN JEWS TO GAIN THEIR POLITICAL REALM!

YOU CAN’T FIGHT THEM ALONE LET DSAI HELP THIS COUNTRY FOR GOD SAKE!!!

  45. dear yb lks,
if the pr takeover has to cause so much of tension and heartache for the govt such that it no longer is able to make rational decisions, could i suggest that pr get together and get dsai to make a joint statement to defer this for the sake of all malaysians rather than play up or be trapped into the malay umno mentality.

on the side, malaysiakini, pls open up your site for all to read so that they can be updated as to the events at least until the storms blows over and for the sake of hose who have been arrested and the latest nwes.

on the side, it is increasingly difficult since 20 min ago to log into malaysia today either thru tmnet or the opendns. traffic must be heavy plus tment and the isps are at their stupd games again all under instruction or directives of course.

  46. Syed Hamid, where was ISA when Ahmad Ismail spoke the racist remarks, became so violent, refused to apologize, tore up Koh Tsu Koon’s picture? Was ISA on holiday in Taiwan and had just returned to Malaysia??????

  47. What’s the point of ‘beware’, Caveman working, the question is how to deal with a Caveman!

Taking the metaphor of ‘caveman’ further, the time is past reasoning with a caveman, for he cares not for what is right or wrong nor does he care the calumnies, insults and name-calling you heap on him. If you want to assemble in the streets to fight, it might not work for the caveman has a bigger ‘club’ to clobber you. So that means that if cavman has greater physical strength and advantage, you only have the lever of “IQ & brains” and “strategy” that hopefully he lacks. So what is the strategy to deal with a caveman?

First, don’t generalise and confront all Paleolithic hunter-gatherers over the other side enjoying high-protein diet from gravy train as the caveman you want to fight. They have factions too, slit and play one against the other, find out which particular faction drew first blood and launched the assault, its complex motives and modus operandi and who’s their leader and what his weakness and vulnerabilities to be seized upon in a counter attack (not necessarily from caveman’s teritory) but from outside!

For eg. cavemen’s minions ransacked RPK’s bedroom, searching and took away some documents and CDs before they took him away. His blog writings are there for all to see for the ISA Charge to be plastered on him so what else are they searching for which they do not presently have but need to have? (hint hint for fans of Allen Parson Projects – their song “Eye in the Sky”?) Find out what it is and where to get it for leverage.

RPK may be controversial, Teresa Kok partisan/DAP but Sin Chew Daily journalist Tan Hoon Cheng? Extending the dragnet over the journalist Tan Hoon Cheng is a blatant mistake, and one of caveman’s achilles heels – for obviously one can’t persuade average Malaysian for long that a reporter who reports a wrongdoing is herself wrong and a threat to national security. Of her detention, NST Sep 13 reported on page 6 : “Outside the state police head quarters in Penang, scores of journalists and leaders from Gerakan, MCA and DAP gathered to lend their support to Tan..Despite their political differences, they stood united to condemn the action taken against her…” Think about that. Official excuse is that she was detained to enable authorities to “probe further”. Don’t believe that, it is to meet agenda of pacifying a certain group unhapy with whistleblower. Her detention merely serves to intimidate journalists. It is a wild swing by caveman. She will definitely be released in due course. Think of how to capitalise and act on this wild swing to coalesce different factions against the caveman before Tan Hoon Cheng is released….Also look at the angle of the Rulers – an institution sancrosanct – where do they stand and sympathies lie on the issue : for they are the one who will receive supposedly your 9/16 petition.

Ultimately, is how you bring all the different parts together for the final thrust – if you really have the requsite fuel/oxidizer that you repeatly said you have on 9/16 or soon after!

I let RPK last interview with BBC says it all: “I have to lay low to disseminate information. If they pick me up after Sept 16, I don’t care,” he said in the phone interview three days ago – Malaysiakini.

This means everything hinges on DSAI whether he is good for his word on 9/16! RPK banks on this promise! The dragnet is a golden opportunity to bolster his crossover plan, if real. Otherwise, if its bluff on his part, then the BN would have by dragnet called the bluff and the game is over.

  48. Dear Malaysian

Can I say something tomorrow to the press about Malays which will raise racial tensions and get the police to arrest those journalists that reporting my remarks under ISA but I can go scots free? If this ok then everybody can start talking rubbish and ends up nobody dare to be reporters …korek?

  49. who determines a person to be arrested under ISA? if so please send ahmad ismail 1st!!!!! why cant the reporter or any press show any recorded video about the permatang pauh talk by that havoc creator; somemore najib was around, sure there is a recorded video when some one prominent was around. show it! show the video to the world!!! why must we argue whose fault and simply by someone’s word who thinks he is still in control of malaysia then put victims under ISA arrrest???!!!!! dont call this country malaysia anymore, rename it as these group of supremo wish! remove the democracy policy away, control this country under iron grip and dictator ways! SAD SAD SAD. so we must comment in blogs too, or else all will be traced and arrested under some act ! tell the world about this! this is same like people in communist country, no right of voices! announce it to the world if the people who control ISA dare to tell the world that malaysians cant speak up! cant tell the truth! keep it till we die! is that what we suppose to be? if the world recognise this is the way malaysia suppose to be , i will live with that. but i am dead sure no human on this planet will agree with these barbarians!!!! fair and square? justice? our PM has placed a very good image to the world that he is always like justice pao by removing all rasuah and maksiat with no bias! his no bias attitude is no longer with us anymore! SAD SAD SAD!
please arrest all of us in this blog or any blog that comment about the unfairness. i am sure the ISA jail wont be able to accomodate all of us. better jail us in 5 star hotels then!! more rooms!!!!!!!!

  50. Is this how Abdullah administration fight back the Anwar’s 916 plan to take over this beloved country? I read with so much anger in this morning newspaper on the arrest of the few innocent people and the show cause letter issued to some newspapers company. The real culprit who is also the UMNO’s member had been let loose while the innocent people have been arrested. What kind of evil government we have in running this country.Has this country been turned into a pariah country by this so called Mr Clean and his UMNO party? Our country is now at par with Myanmar in terms of administration. Our country is as evil as the Myanmar government when it comes to the methodology in clinging on to power by this evil UMNO government.

  51. i’m getting feedbacks that mkini mirror sites are being blacked-out. no confirmations. perhaps only affects streamyx users.

ppl …. subscribe to digi ! i’ve anticipated such things happening. during the permatang pauh by-elections and a few other occasions, such things happen to streamyx users but even though my digi line is assumed slower (edge), i didn’t have problems accessing.

true today also … digi has no problem assessing mkini

  52. Maybe PR should work together with MCA, Gerakan and other components parties within BN as Malaysians, regardless of political ideology to stem the oppression of UMNO. BN will be weaken without other component parties. Without unity, it is difficult to fight a regime that controls the police, the judges and maybe even the army.

  53. yes taiking, yes!

    Let’s Rejoice!

They want us to be angry …. very angry … so angry that we lose our senses and take to the street to vent our angers.

But people, it is clearly written in the sky. Look above you, there’s sunshine. Look way yonder and you see the number 5.

Yes, it is number 5 and numerologists, soothsayers and feng shui masters worldwide acknowledge that 5 represents FREEDOM! You need not be a numerologist. All you need is to Google to confirm.

5 represents freedom, change, movement, dynamism.

Yes, let’s rejoice. We will rejoice and let them who want us to be angry despair!
    http://terangbulannegaraku.blogspot.com/

  54. They may have arrested RPK, Teresa Kok and Tan Hoon Cheng but they cannot destroy the RPK phenomenon which has given us the hope to carry on and also stand up and be counted to voice out out opinions and exercise our rights to freedom of speech. Everyone, do not give up hope for now. Let’s hope justice will not only prevail but also let the world know what is happening now in Malaysia. All we want now is the return of the true meaning of democracy we have been fighting for.

  55. Jeffrey’s argument that it is better to know how to deal with the caveman rather than to beware of the caveman’s working is simply superb, and the advice that we have to use the things we best have at our disposal to deal with him,our ‘IQs
& brains’ and ‘strategy’ to counter his big club makes real good sense. So YB can you get your guys to brainstorm on how best to present to the world blaring loudly the only reason we can think of for throwing the ISA on Theresa Kok is thrumped up by that piece of s..t Toyol and Utusan.Capitalise on it.

  56. Jeffrey, I like your analysis. It’s spot on. However I can’t decipher the clue about what they were searching for in RPK’s house.

Tan Hoon Cheng’s arrest is a bad mistake, done to placate the hardliners in Umno over Ahmad’s wrist slap. The gave him a wrist slap and had to ISA the innocent reporter to compensate, imagine it! In a way it shows how powerless they are over their warlords.

But Tan’s arrest has inflamed the Chinese community and the target of their wrath is of course Gerakan and MCA. These 2 are the big losers. Tan and to a lesser extent, Teresa’s ISA detention will do to MCA what Hindraf 5 ISA did to MIC. Gerakan will be totally wiped out if it doesn’t leave BN now. At least we can rejoice over that.

We’re all hoping against hope that Anwar’s 916 is for real. It’s the only hope we have now. The alternative is a devastated economy as the country limps on to the next G.E. And MCA’s 14 MPs now may be reduced to 4.

BTW, I’m a streamyx user and malaysiakini site is accessible.

  57. I DONT THINK AAB DARES TO STRIKE WITH ISA AREST, ON INTERVIEW HIS CHOKING MORE THEN USUAL. IT MIGHT BE THE MAMATHIR AND HIS EVIL REGIME PLOTTING ALL THIS NONESENSE AGAINS AAB COMPONENT! HE WANTS HIM AND DSAI OUT FOR GOOD!

I SUGGEST WE ALL SHOULD SIGN THIS PETITION TO THE KING, http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?6ai18u26

WE NEED JUSTICE WE NEED IT NOW! DICTATOR ARE RUIN THIS COUNTRY AND THEY BLAME CHINESE NATIONALIST FOR THEIR OWN WRONG DOING!…

  58. Hear! Hear! We the Malaysians have spoken and our voices grow louder everyday. YM RPK, there are no longer thousands who support you. Through your inspirations, it hae spread into millions. The whole nation cries in pain for you. Stay resolute as the day of reckoning will come…NEVER FORGET, WE THE RAKYAT ARE THE BOSSES AND AS BOSSES, WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO SACK THE NON-PERFORMERS!

  59. just same as what they did for the highway company, they all want wins, they can’t suffer losses, if they suffer losses, they claim the lost of profit from the government. and the government use the tax money to paid for losses.

  60. Every one is missing the point on this latest crack down using the ISA.UMNO is facing another split within its ranks.More then half of UMNO members want PAKLAH to step down now .
It was there for all to see .It was on 3TV NEWS yesterday at 8 PM .NAJIB was sitting at the side of MUHYIDDIN, when he (MUHYIDDIN ) was defending the statement he made asking PAKLAH to step down earlier.
Paklah is using everything he got to hold on to power.

  61. Hey Timmy!

Dont start with those inflammatory comments here!

You might just get us shut down..

You have been planted as a trojan horse to wreak havoc here

Just stay calm and comment rationally-use your brains, not raw emotions which will not get us anywhere

  62. this desperate act of a mindless maniac governmnt will never be forgiven nor forgotten for time immemoriam. The copy cat acts reveals a mindless body stuck in time still unable to fanthom the pulse and aspirations of the people of Malaysia. This is the death knell for the government, the BN and all parties still stuck in its time warp.

History will show these recent times as the turning point in Malaysian politics and psyche.

THE MALAYSIA WE ALL ASPIRE WILL PREVAIL THESE TRYING TIMES! KETUANAN RAKYAT AKAN MUNCUL!

  63. For 22 years before Badawi, there was only one caveman. He swung his club at anyone and at anything that irritated him. Then came Badawi, and the caveman retired. However, Badawi’s sleepy nature spawned even more cavemen, and now there are so many of them swinging their clubs at everything that they don’t like.

Jeffrey, it’s not so easy dealing with so many cavemen. Just blitz them out of existence – at the polls.

  64. So how do you get the polls early – that’s the crucial partfor P strategist to think – for they would want to prolong it to 3/4 years time…..

That one caveman you’re talking about is still relevant puppeteering baby cavemen all around.

  65. “A permanently victorious species risks its own extinction” claimed scientists according the renowned Dr.Deepak Chopra.

I can’t help but to compare UMNO-BN with permanently victorious species. The past 50 years of victory may have prompted UMNO to press their “Auto Mode” button for self destruction.

All their actions are full of flaws, enough to convince anyone that they are definitely going down.

  66. Our leaders in position of trust, power and influence realised the ordinary people of all races and religions, given the truths, could unite and their ” divide and rule” with politics of race and religion damaging/destroying the country is not working anymore.

  67. they are not cavemen anymore..

There iis this small boy from a coastal town in Pahang–many many years ago, his crafty Father outwitted his boss, sacrificed some lives and became the Boss himself..

Now, his son is on the verge of doing the same..beware!

  68. abu sayap commented at 1.18am : I would like to call upon all Malaysians to do these:

    1. Remain calm

    2. Do not do anything rash

    3. Do not take to the street

    4. Do not be instigated by people to demonstrate

    5. Just voice it out in your blog, your comments to the blogs, and inform your friends and relatives about the situation

    6. Call your Aduns or MPs and voice out your objection about these arrests and urge your representatives to voice out

    7. Members of political parties, sms your leaders to pressure them to voice out

  69. Sung to the tune of “Gimme Hope, Joanna” by Eddy Grant

Well Bodowi, he runs our country
with his cronies all in Bolehland
He makes a few of his people happy, oh
He don’t care about the rest of us
He’s got the ISA and PDRM
To keep the Rakyat in a subjection
But maybe Pakatan can make Barisan see
How everybody could a live as one

    [chorus:]
    Gimme hope, Malaysia
    Hope, M’sia
    Gimme hope, Malaysia
    ‘Fore the morning come
    Gimme hope, Malaysia
    Hope, M’sia
    Hope before the morning come

Bolehland gives all the ‘dirty’ money
To buy supporters in the elections
While every Rakyat in our country fears
    the framing of another son
    Manupulating with all his cronies,
who likes to lie and play ‘belakang’
He doesn’t care if the Rakyat feels
    sodomized and vulnerable

    [chorus]

He’s got supporters in high up places
Who plays a tune to his ugly song
Bodowi give them the fancy titles
Oh to tempt anyone who’d come
He even knows how to swing opinion
In every newspaper and the journals
For every bad move Bolehlanh makes
    They got a good explanation

    [chorus]

Even the Imams who works for Allah
and the preachers, they’re peaceful men
    Together say Pakatan Rakyat
    Will overcome Barisan
I wanna know if you’re blind, Bodowi
If you wanna hear the sound of drums
Can’t you see that the tide is turning
Oh don’t make us wait till the morning come

Hooray!!!! My vote for PR, PKR, DAP, PAS regardless whatever they do

  72. when ahmad ismail made racist remarks, najib was there.
later najib apologized on behalf of ahmad ismail.

this apology vindicates reporter tan hoon cheng that she told the truth.

what is a reporter who doesn’t report ??

furthermore, what was reported is the truth of a wrong doing by ahmad ismail, which even najib deemed necessary to apologized on his behalf.

    ============================

yah, no more only for this weekend.
saturday and sunday rest, then monday continue again.

public opinion does work to an extent.
    stay calm, but keep vocal.

  74. People running the government not only power crazy but gone berserk.
How can these people locked up 3 peace loving, respectful people under ISA while the stupid arrogant AI was left off the hook. What fairness the BN is talking about??
Talking about whistleblower law. What law when here is a glaring example of a respectful reporter who reported the truth of a racialistic idiot got arrested instead.
RPK and Teresa Kok are great people who care and help the rakyat by exposing the truth of all these evil doers in BN.
    They too got arrested.
What a way the country goes.
Hope all peace loving malaysians will work together peacefully to pressure these evil doers to release RPK, Teresa and Reporter Tan from ISA immediately.

I am sure a lot of malaysians share the lost and pain as long as you folks are not release.
God bless RPK,Teresa Kok and Tan.

  75. It so obvious who started all these chaos. Just look at the common connection in each case as to who started the fire:

RPK Case : The Islam organisations JAWI, JAKIM, IKIM, etc who alleged Raja Petra insulted Islam and lodged police report against him are all linked to UMNO.

Teresa Kok Case: Khir Toyo stated in his blog and soon after Utusan Malaysia picked up from the blog claiming that Teresa had told mosque officials in Kota Damansara, Sri Serdang and Puchong Jaya to tone down the call to Azan prayer. This claim was patently falsed and Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud of PAS lodged a police report against Khir Toyo for stirring up the Azan prayer issue. Khir Toyo is a leader from UMNO and Utusan Malaysia is controlled by UMNO.

Sin Chew Daily senior reporter Tan Hoon Cheng Case: The person who utter the racial slur that chinese are “pendatang” and as such do not deserve to be treated equally was Ahmad Ismail the Bukit Bendera UMNO chief. In doing her honest work, the reporter merely reported what Ahmad had said. Ahmad’s racial instigation has brought the nation close to the brink of another May 13 and the No 1 contributing factor to this ISA crackdown.

It is so very obvious whose fingers are stuck in the pie and the reasons why they are instigating all the unrest. Luckily, Malaysians nowadays are wiser to UMNO’s tricks and could not be duped into falling into their hands.

We, the peace loving Malaysians consisting of malays, chinese, indians, kadasuns, ibans, sikhs, etc of all religions will stand united with each other to make sure the traitorous UMNO will not succeed in causing hatred among its citizens and lead the country into destruction!

  76. “Ahmad’s racial instigation has brought the nation close to the brink of another May 13 and the No 1 contributing factor to this ISA crackdown.” – 9to5

I don’t think we were on the brink of another May13. Not even close.

What fueled May 13 in 1969 was a deep economic class divide between the races. With the rise of the Malay middle class, the gap has narrowed or disappeared.

The races are more educated and matured now. They will not easily be instigated into violence and lose everything they have.

Furthermore, the Umno Malays may incite but Chinese will not retaliate. They are the last to want another racial strife. It takes 2 to tango. When one side will not co-operate, it ends there.

In 1969, the Malays were on one side of the political divide, the Chinese on the other. Now, Malays straddle both ruling party and opposition.

The conditions for May13 no longer exist now. Fear of it happening is overrated however it does serve some politicians’ agenda to fan the fear.

YB Lim, it’s time to educate the people to free themselves from the unreasonable fear of another May13. Otherwise, guess what tactic Umno is going to use next G.E. to bully the non-Malays to vote for BN?

  77. It is one of their last attempt to make rakyat more crazy. Shinking ship UMNO/BN will come to an end soon. I am very worried now of being a Malaysian citizen. Where are we going to?…………

Umno/BN is on knee jerk situation. Pakatan has to form already……………………………PM is to weak .NOT BN AGAIN FOR US!(Just remember this fellow Malaysian).

  78. Nice way to celebrate ramadan and raya this year ! something new in this country ! In bolehland UMNO gets more power during ramadan ! This is a holy month for muslims to think carefully and feel carefully but in bolehland is in the other way round.

    Bravo!

  79. Dear Malaysians

I am as disgusted as you are on all recent events. Please resist all temptations to escalate the already bad situation. Remain calm and avoid street protest, which is what those people are instigating, to provide reasons to declare emergency rule.

Leaders and fellow Malaysians, I hope that from now onwards we should all unite and address ourselves as Malaysians and avoid using any other race differentiation in our future expressions.

    I am not a Chinese.
    I am not an Indian.
    I am not a Malay.
I am neither a Eurasian, Kadazan, Iban, Jakun, etc.

I am and will always be a Malaysian defending Islam as our official religion, Bahasa Malaysia as our official mother tongue and our Yang Di Pertuan Agong as our King.

As provided in our Constitution, I will also protect all other world recognised religions, language and culture for the good of mankind and our children.

Acts of corrupt power must stop now. Whatever your so call religious beliefs (that is if you are a true believer), you should repent and return to your true spiritual path now and not wait for doomsday. No point to continue pray all the time but yet do evil acts. If you still persits doing evil works then you are alone and not part of the religion you claim to represent. So Malaysians, please don’t be misled.

Return the real purpose of politics to governing policies and not about religion and race. After elections, set aside all differences in political views and move expediently to expand our economic pie for all to share.

I weep for our beloved Malaysia when events after events continue to emerge disrupting our economy, our family and our life.

Therefore, if any leader cannot lead please step aside gracefully now instead of dragging the entire nation down with you. Shame on you. Let others with reform policies to attempt to drive our nation forward, even if you do not share their political belief.

We need change… no matter how short. and I mean change in the government and policies.

Those in current powers have already gain enough personnally, do not be greedy and continue to bring down the nation… less you be called a traitor in your life and recorded in history as such in many many generations to come.

I am a Malaysian and so are you.

  80. BEWARE AND BE ON THE ALERT!

It’s obvious the crackdown is downright stupid BUT it is done with a hidden agenda. Everyone needs to be calm and not fall into UMNO’s trap of provocation. The candlelight virgil need to be done with utmost care not for it to be turned into excuse for an emergency ruling.

  81. As a Malaysia, I feel that we should support RPK with some monery gesture for speaking up withour fear and favour. Now he is in ISA detention.

To support his familyduring during this trying time, we have set up a fund for his family.

I believe this is the least that we can do. I am going to start with RM100 contribution. Any amount will be acceptable. Just a gesture. Anybody wants to start the ball rolling? Please advise.

What say you fellow righteous Malaysians?

  82. some people has dig out the below:

Badawi’s grandfather, Ha Su-chiang (also known as Hassan), was a Chinese
Muslim who came from Sanya in Hainan, Southern China . Syed Hamid Albar’s father is of Hadhrami Arab descent. Khir Toyo His father, Joyo Erodikromo, was an immigrant from Java , Indonesia . And even the current ‘racist’Ahmad Ismail that went into hiding came from Sumatra. His datuk nenek adalah pendatang dari India.

Better ask the above politician to confirm the above? after all, we all pendatang…

  83. KTK, when your picture was torn, the media helped to expose the culprit and a whole lot of malaysians were with u. Are You with us now? Can u tell the public what actions is Gerakan going to take to protect innocents from being humiliated?

  84. Gerakan/MCA, if u think u have done something to get the racist penalised, then i’d think u have been made feeling good but actually you have been sodomized real hard. AI is being suspended, umno acknowledged the misdeed. Why the reporter arrested under ISA?
We have been telling ourselves to stay calm. Without party leaders confronting the authorities, we are going no where!

  85. This year Mid-autumn festival will be remembered…

The delicious Mooncakes has had it role in toppling the Mongolian regime of the Yuen Dynasty.

Now, the rakyat wanted to see the toppling of the hopeless BN government.

  86. Surprised at our Home Minister’s prompt action in putting 3 people under ISA. His town kota tinggi is plagued with illegal activities and the police close one eye. There is a group blasting the car music till late hours on saturdays destroying the public’s peace but nothing could be done. The music is heard as far as 2 km but surprise that the police could not hear it. These people are a threat to the public but they can do what they like. People who report and speak the truth are all national threats. What a logic? I think the doom’s day is coming soon for malaysia. Home minister can’t even take care of his own constituency but busy arresting people under the pretext of national threats.

And even the current ‘racist’Ahmad Ismail that went into hiding came from Sumatra. His datuk nenek adalah pendatang dari India.

Better ask the above politician to confirm the above? after all, we all pendatang…

Pendatang jugak tak mengapa, menghasut orang bukan melayu plak tu, lagi bikin sendiri mcm Raja melayu plak tu!

  88. Many people are waiting for the time when all these UMNO criminals will be brought to justice. They are nothing but a bunch of liars acting in their selfish interest. We all have seen how they can constantly lie and deny the truth with a straight face. How evil can that be! Uuuum No we did not say that, Uuuum No we did not do that, ad nauseum. I would like to coin a new word “mengumnokan” meaning to deny the truth without shame or conscience. Example: Badawi, janganlah mengumnokan kesalahan dan kesilapan kamu dalam menangkap rakyat yang tidak bersalah dibawah ISA.

  89. Dear Bakri,
I think you are over glorifying RPK. Yes his blog is a big hit and some of his writings are good. But in general his comments are not constructive, always too emotional and too confrontational to make them acceptable.

I believe we need ISA but in a more reformed version to have more checks and balance. But in my view, RPK deserves to be held under the ISA.

  90. MR CLEAN WAS NEVER CLEAN – he is just an imbecile but he did not know it. It does take a glimmer of intelligence to know and realise one is indeed stupid! If his administration is CORRUPTED right down to the roots, he cannot be CLEAN, can he? Since his authority is ultimately needed to approve and empower the whole perpetration of the corruption, he is automatically an accomplice by virtue of being imbecilic. How can RM500mil commission be arranged without him knowing? Ignorance is not a defence.

Please do not ever accord him such high praise and compliment.
he would be too stupid to know the difference between a compliment and an insult. Like the good doctor says, please don’t throw gems at a caveman who only knows rocks. In IMBECILE’s case, he doesn’t even know what a rock is.

  91. It is time for all Malaysians to reject MCA, MIC, GERAKAN, UMNO and all the parties in the coalition of evil. Totally reject them. If even uncles and aunties can now conclude that if MCA is sincere, they should leave the coalition, they are ALL in trouble!

No need to leave-lah. Just joing the rest of Malaysians on the side of truth, honesty, dignity and true national unity and SIMPLY DEMAND the government RELEASE RPK and TERESA KOK immediately! If they cannot even do this, MCA and GERAKAN will never leave the imploding BN coalition!
